Predator Badlands and Secret Predator Movie in 2025 #predator #predatorbadlands
With Xhafer out of town, Ben & Victor have some fun on this SPECIAL EDITION episode of Last Time On!
Artist, illustrator, and designer Diane Faye Zerr returns to the show to talk about Prey. Admittedly, she's never been a Predator fan but when she found out about Prey's premise, she jumped right in. Yes, this is a "Predator Movie" but Prey is all about Naru, a strong woman fighting multiple battles, dealing with wild animals, and on top of it all, Naru takes down an alien. "She doesn't have assault rifles, she doesn't have grenades," says Diane, moreover, Naru doesn't have roid-built muscles either. "You don't want to tailor to just guys bringing their girlfriends along to movies," says Diane, "you want to bring girls into things too." Diane also talks about the forthcoming Predator movie starring Elle Fanning, plus, we touch on rights of passage for heroes, sequels as pure money makers, 1979's Alien, the erstwhile smoking sections in theaters, and the forthcoming Alien TV series. Learn more about Diane's work at https://fayeandco.etsy.com and https://www.instagram.com/fayeandco.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. The universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biologist can prevent the end of the human race. This is our spoiler free movie review of The Predator. Enjoy!

What’s the matter, Food Courtesans: CIA got you pushing too many pencils? It’s time for another episode of FOOD COURT, your new favorite podcast where we brave the malls and movie halls so you don’t have to! Sean & Jon got WAY too excited for Shane Black’s return to the Predator film franchise and foolishly decided to rope their buddies into a full-fledged filmic foray into the series by starting at the very beginning: the granddaddy of em all, John McTiernan’s 1987 classic “Predator”. Their first victim is the one and only Michael Hampton (@hichaelmampton) and next week we shall dive into the new flick with Tyler Mahan Coe (@tylermahancoe) from the hit podcasts “Cocaine & Rhinestones” and “Your Favorite Band Sucks”! We will be bobbing and weaving in and out of the Predator movies for the next month, depending on how much Adrien Brody and/or xenomorph-on-xenomorph crime our quivering livers can handle. Grab your popcorn, sneak in your snacks, and get out your antacids, because it’s time to feast your ears on some celluloid cellulite! Bon Appetit, Food Courtesans, for we ain’t got time to bleed!
Drink of the day: Rose spritzer with passion fruit liqueur, lemon/lime seltzer, and frozen strawberries & pineapple. Colin Anderson and Candice Chetta are talking about a TON this week because we've got a lot to catch up on. We're loading up The Garbage Barge with all kinds of Nike stuff – the Colin Kaepernick story, … Continue reading "109: Nike and Ethical Consumption, The Predator Movie, Project Runway, The Below Deck Med Finale & More!"
James, Josh, Robert and a new guest Taylor discuss the original Sci-Fi thriller Predator in anticipation of the new film due to hit theaters September 14th. They also briefly discuss other Netflix shows and TV shows that they are currently into.
Another week means another movie review. With movies like The Meg in theaters the movie review duo thought it best to take on the 1975 summer blockbuster Jaws live and in person during Tiki Oasis weekend. Did this movie survive the test of time or did it flounder? Is there such a thing as a trailer that is too long? Are they now afraid to go into the water? Listen in as they dive into this movie and hear if they survived this underwater monster

When one lives long enough, they see some incredible things. Like a Predator movie that receives critical acclaim. Only this one is set way back in time. That's right, we're talking analog Predator.
