What if the fastest way to modernise HR isn't ripping out systems or buying another mega-platform but connecting what you already have in a smarter way?In this episode of the HRchat Podcast, Bill Banham sits down with James Davies, CEO of Kinetic Data, to explore how an agility layer can transform fragmented HR and enterprise processes into simple, human-centred workflows employees actually use.James shares his journey from help desk technician to leading a platform trusted by the U.S. Department of Defense and Fortune 2000 organisations. Along the way, he explains why so many HR and digital transformation programmes stall in “upgrade purgatory”—and how starting with user experience, not technology, creates faster change, safer upgrades, and better adoption. We explore how orchestration across HRIS, ITSM, ERP, and identity systems enables a single front door for employee requests—everything from access and time off to kudos and performance reviews—without adding platform bloat. The conversation also dives into compliance in highly regulated environments. James explains how reading policy (instead of blindly following tradition) unlocks digitisation without weakening controls, enabling smarter renewals, integrated training records, and smoother first-day experiences.Inside Kinetic Data, James outlines a four-pillar operating model—Growth, Product, Success, and Operations—and reflects on servant leadership, empathy built through doing the work, and how intentional culture has kept employee turnover close to zero.If you're wrestling with complex systems, slow upgrades, or HR processes that push employees back to manual work, this episode offers a practical blueprint for reducing friction, freeing up budget for innovation, and building durable software that works under pressure—with a memorable Toyota Land Cruiser analogy along the way.Key topics include:Help desk roots and a service-first mindsetWhy modernisation is about coordination, not more toolsThe agility layer across HRIS, ITSM, ERP, and identityDesigning employee experience before system architectureCompliance lessons from DoD and federal environmentsReducing maintenance to fund innovationServant leadership, introversion, and near-zero turnoverBuilding “Land Cruiser” software that just worksSupport the showFeature Your Brand on the HRchat PodcastThe HRchat show has had 100,000s of downloads and is frequently listed as one of the most popular global podcasts for HR pros, Talent execs and leaders.

What happens when Toyota resurrects an icon—but strips away the old luxury, amps up the rugged capability, and drops in a turbo-hybrid powertrain built for altitude? Is the new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser still worthy of its legendary badge… or is it an entirely new beast? John Rush and Richard Rush take you inside the wheel of Toyota's redesigned off-roader: a 5-passenger, i-Force Max hybrid SUV built for adventure but tuned for everyday comfort. But here's the question—can it compete with Broncos, Wranglers, and even the Land Rover Defender… while still keeping that unmistakable Toyota reliability? How does it really drive at Colorado altitude? Does the hybrid deliver more power and better fuel economy? Is the new design closer to the GX… or the beloved FJ? And at a price in the low-to-mid $60s, is this Toyota the smartest buy in the adventure SUV world? If you're shopping off-roaders, comparing hybrids, or wondering whether Toyota reinvented a legend—or replaced it—you won't want to miss this review. What if the most important legacy you leave behind isn't money—but wisdom? Hour 1 opens with Al Smith of Golden Eagle Financial (https://goldeneaglefinancialltd.com), who joins John Rush to challenge listeners with a powerful question: Are you truly prepared for the future? This hour, with its urgent focus on generational wealth and financial planning, forces you to rethink retirement, self-sufficiency, and the responsibility we owe the next generation. But the conversation doesn't stay calm for long. As Colorado's roads crumble and the state faces a billion-dollar budget shortfall, John exposes a fiery online clash between Governor Polis and Governor Ron DeSantis. Did Colorado really collect billions in marijuana tax revenue for schools and roads—or is that claim collapsing under scrutiny? And why are residents suddenly reporting ICE sightings while extremist rhetoric spikes across social media? Just when the hour can't get any hotter, John tackles a new political battle: the future of SNAP benefits. With millions at risk of losing food assistance, is America facing a safety-net crisis… or finally confronting system abuse? Packed with financial insights, political fireworks, and complex questions, Hour 1 dares you to engage in a thought-provoking journey, rethinking what you believe—and why. HOUR 2 What happens when the American dream collides with a 50-year mortgage? Hour 2 launches with Eric Weir (https://erikweir.com), author of Who's Eating Your Pie? as he and John Rush pull back the curtain on the newest—and most controversial—tool in housing finance. Could a half-century mortgage help first-time buyers escape rising rents, or is it a financial trap doubling your lifetime interest? And is this just math… or a political maneuver aimed at the Federal Reserve? But the hour takes a sharp turn. As social media erupts with anti-Israel rhetoric and conspiracy-driven claims, John confronts the emotional chaos head-on. Why are so many Americans falling for manipulated narratives? And how is AI—now powerful enough to create chart-topping songs—reshaping what people believe? Just when the tension peaks, the conversation shifts again: back to financial stability with Al Smith of Golden Eagle Financial, and then into the world of sports, where the Denver Broncos deliver a jaw-dropping win that has fans buzzing. Plus, hear what John and Richard have to say about the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser. Packed with financial strategy, cultural firestorms, and unexpected victories, Hour 2 dares listeners to question everything—from mortgages to media to the world we think we understand. HOUR 3 What if the next global war isn't fought with missiles—but with algorithms? Hour 3 opens with AI and national-security expert Chris Hoar of SAT123 (https://sat123.com), who joins John Rush to break down America's silent, escalating technology battle with China. From rare earth control to stolen nuclear innovations, Chris reveals how Beijing's 2030 plan to dominate AI hardware and software is closer to reality than most Americans realize. Could the U.S. lose the digital high ground simply because we're looking the other way? But the conversation goes deeper. John exposes chilling new reports of Chinese hackers using AI for autonomous cyberattacks, raising the stakes on tariffs, national defense, and America's technological vulnerability. Then he pushes further: what happens when AI becomes so advanced that people can hold full conversations with systems that think—and manipulate—like humans? The hour closes with political fire. John tackles the Epstein document battle, accusations aimed at Donald Trump, and the internal meltdown inside the GOP, from Marjorie Taylor Greene to Colorado's own party infighting. Packed with espionage, ethics, and AI-driven danger, Hour 3 asks the ultimate question: Are we prepared for a world where technology, politics, and power collide? V začetku prvega poglavja nas na Madagaskarju pričakata Douglas in Mark - brez dveh Land Roverjev, brez helikopterja in z veliko količino kaosa.

Toyota's 4Runner has built a legacy on its off-road chops, and its off-road aesthetic. You're just as likely to see a 4Runner running through a trail as you are handling the tough task of school pickup duty. However, with the fifth-generation 4Runner launching all the way back in 2009, there was only so much the Toyota could do to keep it updated enough to please the soft-road enthusiasts. Well, Toyota fixed that by rolling out the sixth-gen 4Runner for the 2025 model year and bringing some serious quality-of-life updates – for a cost. The '25 4Runner packs the modern Toyota interior, which comes with a large touchscreen and plenty of tech. Toyota also stuffed its i-Force Max hybrid powertrain under the hoods, which blends a turbocharged 2.4-liter I4 with a hybrid system to net 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. Powering base-model 4Runners is a turbocharged 2.4-liter I4 without the hybrid help that makes 278 hp and 317 lb-ft. Both powertrains work through an eight-speed transmission. On this episode of Quick Spin, host Wesley Wren hops behind the wheel of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner and puts it through its paces. Wren takes you on a guided tour of the latest 4Runner and highlights some of the changes and his favorite features. Later, Wren takes you along for a live drive review.
Are they off-road ready or just rugged? This week the Unnamed Automotive Podcast tackles two rough and tumble SUVs starting with Benjamin's review of the 2025 Subaru Outback XT, especially in light of an upcoming redesign which may ditch the classic wagon styling of the Subaru halo vehicle. While our hosts rag on the Outback's mainstreamification, they also worry that the future will lack the personality and capabilities that made it so interesting and popular in the first place. Then Sami shares his thoughts on the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, which changes the older FJ formula to something less capable and less luxurious than Americans are used to. Beyond that, Sami points out the difficult to swallow pricing of the new Land Cruiser and how it stacks up against other rugged SUVs. Then the guys talk about the quality and pricing of cars following the COVID Pandemic, and whether consumers can head into a dealership and get a good deal right now. Thanks for listening!

Jason Fitz, Jori Epstein, Charles Robinson and Frank Schwab join forces from the Toyota Land Cruiser set at Super Bowl LIX to go behind the scenes on the final game of the 2024 NFL season. With the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles, the crew analyzes what makes this game unique. The discussion kicks off with the “been there, done that” vibe surrounding both teams, setting the stage for a championship battle that feels routine, despite the high stakes. As the conversation heats up, the focus shifts to the key players who will shape the outcome. Frank Schwab and Charles Robinson dive deep into the Eagles' running game, especially with Saquon Barkley's role as a potential game-changer. But will the Chiefs' defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo have the tools to stop him? With historical implications on the line, the conversation also hits on the Chiefs' potential for a third straight Super Bowl win and how it would cement their dynasty among the greatest in sports. The crew reflects on Andy Reid's legendary coaching career, Patrick Mahomes' clutch ability, and the role of key players like Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy. The panel also discusses Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni and their potential legacy riding on this game. The episode wraps with each panelist's Super Bowl predictions, with Fitz, Jori, and Charles leaning toward the Chiefs while Frank sticks with the Eagles.(3:40) - How will the rematch play out differently than last time?(8:20) - How can Spags stop the Eagles offense?(22:00) - Can Travis Kelce still take over a game?(26:40) - What a three-peat would mean for the Chiefs legacy(42:05) - Hurts and Sirianni's legacy on the line(57:10) - Final Super Bowl picksSubscribe to Inside Coverage on your favorite podcast app:
Nate Tice, Charles McDonald, and Matt Harmon come to you from the Toyota Land Cruiser set at Super Bowl LIX to give their final thoughts and analysis on the ultimate matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The guys kick things off with some banter about Charles' run-in with a New Orleans Saints fan Uber driver before diving deep into the key matchups of the big game.As the guys analyze both sides of the ball, the conversation turns to the Chiefs' offense and their methodical style of play. One of the biggest battles to watch will be the Chiefs' offensive line trying to hold up against the Eagles' ferocious defensive line. The Chiefs have weaknesses on both sides of the ball, and the offensive line's ability to protect Patrick Mahomes may be the defining factor in this game. The run game, led by Isiah Pacheco, is a “snoozer matchup," as Matt has little confidence in KC's ability to pop any big runs.Switching to the Eagles' side of the ball, the guys dive into how Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley will look to exploit the Chiefs' defense. While Kansas City is good at stopping explosive runs, Saquon's ability to break off big gains adds a layer of intrigue to the matchup. The Eagles' offensive line, perhaps the most imposing group in the league, will aim to dominate in the trenches. However, the key to this game could be the play of the Chiefs' secondary—especially with standout cornerback Trent McDuffie facing a tall task against Philly's wide receiver duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. After all the analysis, the crew wraps up by giving their final predictions for the game.Later, Nate and Charles are joined by Washington Commanders rookie phenom Jayden Daniels to break down his outstanding season, the finer details of Kliff Kingsbury's offense, building the ultimate receiver out of guys he's played with and more.(2:25) - Chiefs offense vs. Eagles defense(14:55) - Eagles offense vs. Chiefs defense(29:20) - Jayden Daniels joins the show!Subscribe to Football 301 on your favorite podcast app:

Land Cruiser is one of Toyota's – and, arguably, the world's – most haloed marques. In this episode, Jason and Derek discuss its origins and history from its jeep origins, to its enormous family tree, all the way up to the brand new 250-series models, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus GX550. Jason and the Hagerty crew traveled to the rugged, mountainous outskirts of Salt Lake City (and the nearby Land Cruiser Heritage Museum) to film an ICONS episode on the illustrious off-roading Toyota. And in this episode, the carmudgeons dive into the origins of the Japanese jeep and its Attila-grade family tree of subsequent series: the 20-series Land Cruiser and then the, 40, 55, 60, 70, 80, 100, 200, 250, and 300, just to name a few! The FJs, BJs, the Iron Pig, heavy duties, station wagons, Prados, the Lexus-badged models like the LX600 and GX550 (Motor 1's SUV of the year!). We'll even cover the Land Cruiser's competition along the way: the Jeep Wrangler, Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Wagoneer; the Land Rover Defender, Range Rover, Velar, Discovery and Evoque; even the Ford Bronco and International Scout. In addition to the WWII Willys Jeep 4x4, we'll cover the origin of the “J” in BJ and FJ – an abbreviation for jeep, which itself many believe is a pseudo-acronym for GP or “general purpose,” but a fact-check says otherwise. Even the Land Cruiser name itself was a tweaked version of the Land Rover moniker to make Rando-kurūzā in Japan. Jason also reviews both of the new 250-series Prado trucks: the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser and 2024 Lexus GX550. We'll talk powertrain, styling, cargo and passenger capacity, comfort, handling, NVH, luxury, and more. Now let's get to it! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
This week the Unnamed Automotive Podcast ditches its unibody for a body on frame setup as our hosts tackle a pair of off-road oriented trucks. Benjamin tests out the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor, a performance-oriented version of the midsize pickup that has dune bashing and baja racing on its ECU. Benjamin discusses where the new Ranger improves upon the old one, and whether this is the king of off-road performance mid-size trucks. Then Sami dons his Prada sunglasses and jumps into the 2025 Lexus GX 550, a rugged off-road luxury SUV thats based on the Toyota Land Cruiser, but boasts a bigger engine and fancier appointments. This Overtrail+ model sports more ground clearance, but Sami thinks that Lexus has a lot to prove against something as tested as the Land Rover Defender. Thanks for listening!

The Toyota Land Cruiser's story is almost as long as the brand's. Evolving from a Jeep alternative, the Land Cruiser has since grown into a luxurious off-roading superstar. Technically split between two separate series, the Land Cruiser 200 carried the water for Toyota's Land Cruiser in North America until it reached the end of the road in 2021. While Toyota hasn't brought the replacement Land Cruiser 300 to the United States, yet, the company did bring over its smaller Land Cruiser 250. Formerly dubbed Land Cruiser Prado, this downsized Land Cruiser sits closer to the 4Runner and Tacoma than the oversized Lexus LX. Powering the reborn Land Cruiser is a turbocharged 2.4-liter I4 that works with a hybrid system and an eight-speed transmission to throw 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. On this episode of Quick Spin, host Wesley Wren hops behind the wheel of the '24 Toyota Land Cruiser and puts it through its paces. Wren takes you on a guided tour of the latest Land Cruiser highlights some of his favorite features, and tells you what it's like to live with in the real world. Later, Wren takes you along for a live drive review. Adding to these segments, Wren chats with Autoweek's Patrick Carone about the Land Cruiser, the Toyota TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, and more. Closing the show, the pair break down what makes the Land Cruiser special.
