Is it bad to be "pushy" and "obnoxious" when it comes to promoting your business or investment idea?
What's the best way to use phones in business? Make sure you don't have too many numbers! - difficult to promote on marketing material Make sure all numbers are publicly available - if you don't put them on social media, billboards, website, etc, no one will know where they are and can't call in Send SMS/ voicemail/ Voice Notes/ email/ etc after missed calls - people need to know WHO called and WHY before they can decide if it's worth calling you back and taking further action. Case in point - scrap metal buyer LAG - multiple numbers (who's calling?)/ odd hours (who could be calling at this hour?)/ no messages following call attempts (who's calling and why is this person reaching out to me) Solution in this case - 2 or 3 numbers only/ during working hours (def not at night)/ SMS and whatsapp after calling (I would know know WHO is calling, WHY they're calling and WHAT I need to do to get the ball rolling again) ------------------------------------------- That's all folks! Agents are very comfortable talking to their clients about the process of buying a home, but get really nervous when it comes to bringing up commissions. With the buyer commission changes coming down the pipeline, talking about the numbers and the specific value we bring to the transaction is how we're going to survive. One of the best things we can do right now is equip ourselves with the designations and certifications that make these conversations easier, and allow us to exemplify our expertise, and not get taken out of business. Why is the ABR designation a great way to prepare for what's coming? In today's episode, I'm elated to have fellow real estate speaker and author of Straight Talk for Real Estate Success, Monica Neubauer back on the show. Public Relations is an interesting niche in the marketing realm. I guess it falls somewhere between what we usually think of as marketing and what we consider business development. In a way, it's promotional like marketing and relationship based like business development. The question is, what do you do to promote your business?

When it comes to promoting any business, it pays to know how effective your promotional spend is; and when it's your own business, that spend is comprised partly of time and partly of money. So, how do you know if an opportunity to promote yourself for free (or almost free) is one you should say yes to, or no? Plus, how does this have relevance for other parts of your life, especially when it comes to living life on your terms? Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” With network marketing it is very important that you make sure you are planning for your business and promoting it as well. When promoting your business it is important that you offer deals or make sure that you are letting people know what your business is about and that you not only care about your business but also the well being of your customers and employees. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/pink-millionaire/message

In this episode, I interview Charlie McDermott about his drive to succeed and lessons he's learned about effectively marketing and promoting a business. Charlie McDermott’s drive has taken him to the top of the fitness industry building an 8 figure health club empire… to the back lot studios of Warner Brothers and multi-million dollar Hollywood deals… and it catapulted him to GKIC Marketerof the Year elite status in a record 15 months time. All of these varied business experiences form the foundation of Charlie’s newest endeavor – BEN, the Business & Entrepreneur Network. This one-of-a-kind member organization provides Immediate Business Building Solutions, with Step-by-Step Blueprints that accelerates the overworked, overwhelmed business owner into independent, wealthy Entrepreneur. Charlie lives in West Chester, PA with his “willing to put up with just about any new business endeavor”, wife of 25 years, Barb. Their youngest daughter Grace… will soon be heading to college. Their loudest family members are dogs, Jasper and Zoe. Zoe was a “I don’t think my apartment will be big enough when this golden labrador puppy grows up.”, gift from their actor son, Charlie (the actor) during a visit home. “The actor” lives in Burbank, CA and stars as Axl in the ABC hit comedy “The Middle”. Speaking of the middle, Erin their middle daughter is an honor student and cheerleader attending college in Philadelphia.

Companies spend hundreds of thousands or sometimes millions on exhibiting at events, trade shows and mega-exhibitions. They pay huge exhibition fees, then vast amounts of money for the building of a stand; then flying in, housing, feeding and watering senior employees to speak to passers by at the stand. However, only a small percentage of these exhibitors realise their potential, as they don't use simple marketing techniques to amplify their message and make the most of their investment. As event season heats up, Ian Hainey and Christina Bostock from iHC give a few examples of simple measures exhibiting companies can put in place to ensure their time and money at such events and exhibition are well spent, using PR, social media and content marketing.Promoting Your Business Lab is loosely based on Amazon bestseller, Promoting Your Business 2019 available on kindle and paperback.

In this week's episode, Gwen is coaching with Lance. Lance is a breath work healer. While he knows he's a gifted and talented in helping the people he serves, he's been noticing a pattern of holding himself back from fully expressing himself. This shows up in hesitating to promote his business, build deep and intimate connections with others, as well as spilling over into other areas of his life, including his finances. In this episode, Lance gets coached on how to get to the root cause of this hesitation and shift into the embodiment of fully expressing himself. You'll also notice that while Lance is already a breath work healer, as with other coaches, Reiki and energy healers it's so important for us to continue to look for anything that is unresolved and anything that's not healed, so that we can take people as far as we're willing to go. Promoting Your Business Trade shows This is more for vendors selling equipment and supplies Can be good for decorators - Home Shows, Craft Fairs. Do you need to be at all or most “to be seen”? # of shows too many? Can you abandon shows? Can you lead the charge of others away? Said for supplies and equipment but end-user printers sometimes exhibit (but not repeating often) Sponsorships, seminars, in-booth seminars Social media It's a must in my book. It is where people are at. 802 Million Active Users DAILY on Facebook (Would be largest country on the planet) Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Spinning wheels… or a piece of the promotional pie? Percentage of content Hootsuite is the tool you need Internet YouTube Webinars Webinars as a sales meeting Booking Meetings via Web / Hubspot Blogs? Website Content, content, content… or can you offer straight products and shopping carts? Email programs Unsolicited emails from companies and individuals I've never heard of get the immediate delete from me. ErichCampbell: I had major FOMO seeing all of you folks posting pics. :) 2 Regular Guys Talking Decoration: Erich when do you head out for the shop tune up? ErichCampbell: That should be (fingers crossed) the 19th-24th. Failing that, the week after. ErichCampbell: Saw your FB comment about how things have been going, Marshall- couldn't be for a better guy, sir. :) ErichCampbell: It seems to me with the rise of social media and relationship marketing, that trade shows become the way to lock down those relationships with face time. (Though it makes me a hypocrite since I never get out to them) KristineShreve: We primarily do the DAX Shows, and it's great to have people tell us that they anticipate seeing us there. ErichCampbell: Do you have repeat customers that always come out, Kristine? ErichCampbell: Do you enjoy doing the shows? KristineShreve: Yes. We have people who will contact us to make sure we're going to be there. ErichCampbell: (rattling chains) I am not. ;) MarshallAtkinson: Best way to do Trade Shows is to have appointments wit...
