SCOTT GALLOWAY, JANINE COVENEY, & JULIANA JAI BOLDENQuincy Jones, whose decorated music career ran from the early 1950s through the best-known works of Michael Jackson and beyond, died on Sunday November 3, 2024. He was 91.His death was confirmed by his publicist in a statement to NPR that did not mention the cause of death. The statement said that Jones died peacefully at his home in Bel Air, California, surrounded by his family.A private funeral has been held a week after his death.The memorial was attended by close family members in Los Angeles following the legendary music producer's death at age 91 on Nov. 3, the Associated Press reported Sunday.
