He earned an MS (electrical engineering) and a PhD (psychology) from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and in 2022 was awarded an Honorary DSc (doctor of science) from the Swami Vivekananda University in Bangalore, India. Before joining the IONS research staff in 2001, Radin worked at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. He has given over 750 talks and interviews worldwide, and he is author or coauthor of some 7 patents, 300 scientific and popular articles, four dozen book chapters, and nine books, four of which have been translated into 15 foreign languages: The Conscious Universe (1997), Entangled Minds (2006), Supernormal (2013), and Real Magic (2018).  In this interview, Dean opens the conversation by talking about why the scientific community is slow to emerge with theoretical explanations as to why anomalous phenomena occur, even with the empirical evidence. He then explains how the three main classes of magickal practice (Divination, Enchantment, and Theurgy) coincide with the three main of psychic phenomena that have been studied over the years by scientists (Clairvoyance, Psychokinesis, and Survival after death). First explaining the three most notable types of tests that have been developed over the years (tossed dice, random number generator outputs, and photon interference), Dean then explains in more detail the last test and the mystery of the ‘wave-particle duality' that ‘violates the commonsense doctrine of realism, which assumes that the physical world is completely independent of observation.' We then move on to the SIGIL (scientific investigation of gazing with intention/intuition at light) experiment that Dean performed with the funding of the Bial Foundation and RENSEP, involving practicing magicians and mediators, and the results of this experiment. Dean talks a bit about further experiments that could be created on the foundation of the SIGIL experiment, and also how all of this ties into the larger discussions about the nature of consciousness and interconnectedness.  https://www.deanradin.com/https://www.cognigenics.io/https://noetic.org/https://www.youtube.com/@InstituteofNoeticScienceshttps://www.rensep.org/https://www.youtube.com/@rensephttps://www.instagram.com/ionsonline/ https://www.instagram.com/rensep_official/Photo Credit: Jordan Engle @ Lens & SoulTheme Music & Editing: Daniel P. Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comToday I'm honored to introduce you all to: Raytheon whistleblower, former Navy firefighter and contractor for Raytheon, Stargate Project and MK ULTRA survivor, travel lover, and a man on a mission to help circumnavigate the gatekeepers of the ‘disclosure commodity' market: Eric HeckerWhen I met Eric, I was familiar with his story of being a whistleblower for witnessing highly advanced directed energy weapons – which we often call ‘DEWs' on this podcast – being used for crimes against humanity during his time at the South Pole Facility in Antarctica he was stationed at and has testified to congress under oath about. Having listened to a few of Eric's interviews, it's shocking, alarming, and very disturbing to listen to his first-hand experiences and to consider the implications on humanity that his claims hold. While we have spoken in length on this podcast about DEWS, electronic mind control, and how these advanced technologies are being used to target individuals – also known as ‘targeted individuals' or ‘TI's' – but what most other interviews featuring Eric haven't touched much on are his experiences as a child having been sold into the CIA's Stargate and MK ULTRA projects. I was really thrilled when Eric agreed to come shine a light on this part of his testimony today, and how his childhood experiences may add context to the path he took as an adult and the things he saw and experienced in Antarctica. We know from listening to survivor testimonies on this show that there are very little coincidences in a survivor's life and that much of their life has been engineered and manufactured to fulfill different roles and duties in society – unbeknownst to them. I believe that Eric's full disclosure of what he went through as a child will really bring validity and insight as to how and why he ended up in Antarctica as a contractor for Raytheon to begin with. For context on Stargate Project - if you are new here - and according to Wikipedia: “The Stargate Project was a secret US Army unit established in 1977 at Fort Meade, Maryland, by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and SRI International – which, if you guys remember, we have had 3 Stanford Research Institute (AKA SRI) survivors on this podcast - to investigate the potential for psychic phenomena in military and domestic intelligence applications. The Stargate Project's work primarily involved remote viewing and the purported ability to psychically "see" events, sites, or information from a great distance.” Eric comes to us today to disclose and share some of the most vulnerable moments of his life out of a personal and moral obligation to shine a light on the darkness that exists in the world that is all but hidden from the general public. While there appears to be a concerted effort to control the mainstream disclosure movement, it will be heroes like Eric who help us break through the controlled narrative by connecting public disclosures of all kinds to child behavior modification programs and government-sponsored child slavery – something very few have the courage to do. It's the piece that is missing from most disclosure movements. Eric is extremely passionate about helping to bring awareness to organized child abuse and crimes being committed against innocent children through our government and governments all over the world, and he is one of the few whistleblowers that was asked to give testimony for both the Senate Intelligence Committee and AARO. His shared testimony will be getting entered into the National Archives.CONNECT WITH ERIC: Website: Home - Deciphering My ExperienceSupport the show

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to talk with Amy Lanksy, author of the amazing book, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy. I found Amy's book to be incredibly powerful in understanding the potential of homeopathy, as well as understanding how it works and the history of the rise and fall of its use and popularity.   Amy Lansky graduated from the University of Rochester in 1977 with degrees in mathematics and computer science, and she received her doctorate in computer science from Stanford University in 1983. After many years working at various Silicon Valley research institutions (including SRI International, NASA Ames Research Center, and three years as a consulting associate professor at Stanford), Lansky made an unusual career move: she became a student, writer and promoter of homeopathic medicine. This was prompted by the miraculous cure of her son's autism with homeopathy.   Our conversation covers the foundational principles of homeopathy, its impact on health, and its applications beyond humans to plants and animals. We also discuss the history and challenges of homeopathy, its scientific basis, and its perception in modern medicine.   We explore consciousness and synchronicity, inviting you to explore unconventional healing modalities.   Visit https://www.amylansky.com to learn more about Amy's work and her upcoming book.   This episode is an invitation to broaden your perspective on health and wellness, offering insights into a gentle yet radical form of treatment.   00:00 Introduction to the Podcast and Homeopathy 01:01 Guest Introduction: Amy Lansky 02:33 Amy Lansky's Journey into Homeopathy 04:34 The Miraculous Cure of Autism 13:15 Understanding Homeopathy 17:15 The Science Behind Homeopathy 23:35 Homeopathy in Practice 27:47 Historical Context and Challenges 32:10 The Rise of Homeopathy in the 70s 32:53 Personal Experiences with Homeopathy 33:53 Shifting Perspectives and New Beginnings 34:59 Exploring Active Consciousness 35:32 Theories on Higher Dimensionality 36:56 Synchronicities and Psychic Phenomena 40:20 Healing Modalities and Energy Bodies 42:34 The Power of Remedies and Therapies 48:17 Synchronicities and Life Decisions 54:28 Conclusion and Final Thoughts   Read Amy's books: Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy https://amzn.to/3U5XOZI Active Consciousness: Awakening the Power Within https://amzn.to/4f4z3Ft

Expanding Globally: A Masterclass with Steve Ciesinski

Welcome to Grit & Growth's masterclass on going global – a guide for expanding your business beyond borders. Steve Ciesinski, Stanford Graduate School of Business lecturer in entrepreneurship, walks you through the pitfalls and possibilities of making the move from local venture to global enterprise. It goes without saying that having an outstanding product or service is key to business success. But that's just the tip of the iceberg when you want to expand your business – regionally and/or globally. According to Steve Ciesinski, scaling introduces additional challenges, including cultural and regulatory differences, economic and political risks, language barriers, supply chain struggles, and more. However, he believes that entrepreneurs who plan carefully and execute flawlessly can create value on a global scale.Steve Ciesinski has had plenty of experience advising entrepreneurs on global expansion. He's a Stanford GSB lecturer in entrepreneurship, past president of SRI International and other Silicon Valley firms, and an investor and board member of growth-oriented tech companies and mission-based organizations. Three Key Takeaways for Going Global:Your product market fit might not fit in a different market“Things are very, very different and very subtle sometimes as you get into a marketplace. You have to be very agile. You have to be super flexible.”Find the right person for the right place“If you're going to go to another country and you're not going to be there personally as the founder, then who's going to run that country for you? You have to have somebody there that you completely, 100 percent trust, because things will go wrong.”Regulatory compliance is a tricky businessYou have to be very, very careful. You have a choice. When you have a new thing, do you try to cooperate with the government? How long will that government be in place? You have some choices early on as to what you do in whatever country. You may be successful in Nigeria, but in Kenya, or if you were trying to go across the pond to Mexico, you may not be so successful with your product.”Listen to Steve Ciesinski's advice on what to keep in mind when entering new markets so you can scale with less friction and more success.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Do you sometimes experience stomach issues after you eat? Are you familiar with enzymes and why are they so important to our bodies? Today on the show Lisa talks with Lita Lee, Ph.D. She is a chemist, enzyme therapist, nutritionist, author, and lecturer who has been in private practice for several decades. Her book is “The Enzyme Cure.” Dr. Lee talks about plant enzymes – what they are, how they can help us, and how they may be the most overlooked link to our good health. The right plant enzymes can help reverse asthma, cancer, diabetes, herpes, kidney stones, menopausal symptoms, weight problems, and dozens of other common disorders. Dr. Lee also discusses the dangers of microwaving food and how the radiation alters the vitamins and nutrients in the food. She talks about fluoride in our waters and how that causes disease. She also addresses diabetes and explains how white sugars are detrimental to our health, as well as why there is an epidemic of thyroid disorders. She suggests eating raw organic foods, coconut oil, and whole foods, which are all excellent for our health. She asks us to find out what enzyme we may be lacking and then suggests taking a multiple digestive enzyme. Dr. Lee received a doctorate in chemistry in 1967 from the University of Colorado in Boulder and spent the early years of her career as a research chemist at SRI International in Menlo Park, California. Her interest in nutrition, environmental health, and natural organic foods led her from the chemistry laboratory into clinical practice in 1984. Dr. Lee's strong scientific background qualifies her work as an enzyme therapist, particularly her specialty of developing nutritional protocols for balancing body chemistry, with a focus on enzyme nutrition, hormonal balancing, diet, and protection from environmental toxins.   Info: LitaLee.com

Starting a business and growing it are challenging enough. But expanding globally, across the entire African continent with 54 very different countries, increases the difficulty exponentially. That's what Taha Jiwaji, CEO and founder of Beem, is experiencing first hand. Hear what it takes to create a Pan-African business and gain strategic insights on going global from Steve Ciesinski, who teaches entrepreneurship at Stanford Graduate School of Business. After attending college in the United States and working as a consultant in Los Angeles, Taha Jiwaji left his safe corporate job and moved back to his home of Tanzania to become an entrepreneur. He had no idea what he was in for. But 20-plus years later, he's built Beem, a Pan-African cloud computing platform that helps businesses create lasting relationships with their customers through their mobile phones. Beem is currently in 30-plus countries … and growing. On a continent where only 36 percent of the population has broadband internet, reaching customers on their phones through SMS is a huge win. And as connectivity across Africa increases, the opportunities for Beem and their customers expand, too.“You know, there's 54 different countries on the continent. Each one is different in terms of language, policies, etc. So you need to spend time in them, on the ground, to really learn about them,” Jiwaji explains.Steve Ciesinski is both a Stanford GSB lecturer in entrepreneurship and past president of SRI International and other Silicon Valley firms. As an investor and board member of growth-oriented tech companies and mission-based organizations, he's had plenty of experience advising entrepreneurs on global expansion. What's the country like? What's the culture in the country? How do they do business? These are the very first questions you need to ask, according to Ciesinski. Then you need the right people. “You need to have somebody very, very close who's been with your company, understands your culture — and is going to move there. And then find somebody there who eventually can become the general manager of that business because you're expecting that business to grow,” he advises.Jiwaji did just that, focusing on building relationships, on the ground, in person, getting customers and partners to sign up. When it comes to giving advice to other entrepreneurs, Jiwaji suggests “grit and persistence. Things take a long time, government regulation, people move very slowly across these markets. And sometimes it takes years for a relationship to finally come to fruition.”Get more insights and advice on going global from Jiwaji and Ciesinski, including how to create differentiation, establish your value proposition, handle regulations, and, most important, find and retain global talent to help you expand.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Today you are going to hear an important story brought you by 3 MK ULTRA survivors who are bravely and courageously step up to tell us the harrowing childhood story they all have in common. Introducing: Stanford Research Institute mind-control experiment survivors: Frida, Ariadne, and Marc Victor and Marc's amazing partner, Marina Louv! Taking a few quotes off Wikipedia: “Stanford Research Institute is an American non-profit research institute and organization headquartered in Menlo Park, California. The trustees of Stanford University established SRI in 1946 as a center of innovation to support economic development in the region. The organization was founded as the Stanford Research Institute. SRI formally separated from Stanford University in 1970 and became known as SRI International in 1977. SRI performs client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, and private foundations. Herbert Hoover, then a trustee of Stanford University, was also an early proponent of an institute but became less involved with the project after he was elected president of the United States. In April 1953, Walt and Roy Disney hired SRI (and in particular, Harrison Price) to consult on their proposal for establishing an amusement park in Burbank, California. SRI provided information on location, attendance patterns, and economic feasibility. SRI selected a larger site in Anaheim, prepared reports about operation, and provided on-site administrative support for Disneyland and acted in an advisory role as the park expanded. As a belated response to Vietnam War protesters who believed that funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) made the university part of the military–industrial complex, the Stanford Research Institute split from Stanford University in 1970. The organization subsequently changed its name from the Stanford Research Institute to SRI International in 1977. In 1972, physicists Harold E. Puthoff and Russell Targ undertook a series of investigations of psychic phenomena sponsored by the CIA, for which they coined the term remote viewing. In 1986, SRI.com became the 8th registered ".com" domain. In December 2007, SRI launched a spin-off company, Siri Inc., which Apple acquired in April 2010.[105] In October 2011, Apple announced the Siri personal assistant as an integrated feature of the Apple iPhone 4S.[106] Siri's technology was born from SRI's work on the DARPA-funded CALO project, described by SRI as the largest artificial intelligence project ever launched.[107] Siri was co-founded in December 2007However, what they don't tell us about on Wikipedia about SRA are the horrific MK ULTRA mind control experiments that were going on behind the scenes from 1953 until 1969 at the hands of ‘Dr. Green' himself, aka: Josef Mengele on innocent children. But we are about to change that today as 3 amazing survivors come forward to share their stories with you. This is important because we often forget the vastness of where these experiments were allowed to happen. For the sake of our own discernment and for the safety of our children and youth, we need to be brave enough to lift the veil off whatever is elevated in society and look beyond what is obvious until we come to a place of truth. Mark Gottlieb is one amazing man! I will summarize some of the highlights of his life. While raised in a culturally Jewish, but spiritually atheistic home, Mark, later in life, came to genuine faith in Christ. Mark did his undergraduate studies at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Then he earned two Masters Degrees in technical areas from Stanford University. From there, Mark moved to the Washington, DC area where he worked with SRI International assisting a governmental agency on its technology. He also taught some graduate courses at GWU on the side. In 1985, Mark launched his own technology firm called DesignTech International, which focused on the design and production of innovative products in the consumer electronics field. His business was a huge success making millions and employing over 100 folks. He then created another company LogicMark in 2006 that was later sold to a private equity group. Mark is happily married to his wife Sharon, and together they have 4 wonderful children and 12 grandkids. He is very active in his local church and for fun enjoys being an incredible photographer and 3D design and printer expert. He has traveled to 88 countries in the world and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as an Underwater Violinist! But, on a much more negative side of things, a little over 3 years ago, in the middle of his travel and other activities, Mark had a very tragic mountain biking accident that left him paralyzed at the time from the neck down. But after many hours of physical therapy and the help of technology, Mark is actually able to walk again! In this podcast, Mark describes how he now maintains a solid trust in and love for God despite his on-going physical limitations and pain resulting from his biking accident.

Dr. Philip Vahey - Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: The Productive Messiness of Interdisciplinary Collaboration

My guest today is Dr. Phil Vahey, the Director of Applied Learning Sciences at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, or HMH. Prior to this role, he was the director of mathematics learning environments at SRI International's Center for Learning Technologies. There he researched the use of dynamic technologies to help students learn difficult math concepts for over 20 years. If you've ever taught preschool children, you might be familiar with early math with Gracie and friends, or early science with Miko and Nora. Phil had a hand in creating both of these curricula and apps designed to support early mathematics and science learning. Here are two key things that emerge in this conversation that I think are worth paying close attention to. First, Phil talks about how he made his decision to go directly to a research institute out of graduate school. Second, we discuss the different ways we can think about “making an impact” as a learning scientist. We also discuss the challenges that arise when you work in interdisciplinary teams – even when you, a priori, seem to have shared goals and language about the problems you want to address. We get to hear about the messy “behind the scenes” problem solving that is necessarily a part of what it means to work on hard problems, and talk about the design tradeoffs you make as a result alleviating those tensions. This is a particularly fascinating conversation for those of you who are interested in educational technologies and pursuing a career outside of academia. As always, email us with your comments and questions. The source materials will be linked in the episode description. Our email is HumansLSpod@gmail.com. Works Discussed Vahey, P. It was an honor to chat with the extraordinary Duane Elgin - internationally recognized speaker, author, activist and social visionary. We discuss earth as a living system with which we are not only connected, but also forms part of a totality that is regenerating itself moment to moment. As Joseph Campbell once said, “People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think that what we're seeking is an experience of being alive”. When we can shift our sense of identity to something much larger than our individual selves and learn to be a part of the living universe, we become part of this field of aliveness that transforms our cultural narrative toward a sustainable and meaningful future. Duane talks about how we, as humanity, are in our adolescent phase going through this realization moment, rebelling against nature and human nature. Both humility and courage are necessary to choose alternate paths to functional extinction and authoritarianism. We go through Duane's “7 Uplifting forces” of how to nurture both resilience and aliveness so that humanity can move from a whole systems crisis to viable and abundant future. About Duane: Duane Elgin is an internationally recognized speaker, author, citizen activist and social visionary who looks beneath the surface turbulence of our times to explore the deeper trends that are transforming our world. In 2006, Duane received the International Goi Peace Award in Japan in recognition of his contribution to a global “vision, consciousness, and lifestyle” that fosters a “more sustainable and spiritual culture.” Duane is currently the Co-director of the Choosing Earth Project. His many books include: Choosing Earth: Humanity's Journey of Initiation Through Breakdown and Collapse to Mature Planetary Community; The Living Universe, Promise Ahead: Voluntary Simplicity, Awakening Earth . And With Joseph Campbell and other scholars he co-authored the book Changing Images of Man . In the early 1970s, he worked as a senior staff member of a joint Presidential-Congressional Commission on the American Future, and as a senior social scientist with the think-tank SRI International. Over the past thirty years, Duane has co-founded three non-profit organizations working for media accountability, citizen empowerment, and a trans-partisan ‘community voice' movement. For the past three years, he has been the executive director of a project that has brought together more than a dozen “Great Transition Stories” that offer new cultural narratives toward a sustainable and meaningful future. Lue Elizondo is the former Senior Counterintelligence Officer for the Department of Defense, and ex-Director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Being primarily focused on secretive investigations of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena ( UAPs ) more commonly known as Unidentified Flying Objects ( UFOs ) the classified program first garnered the attention of the public on December 16, 2017, when the world was stunned by an article published by the NY Times publication entitled "Glowing Auras and 'Black Money'. The program was initiated in 2007, with an approved budget of $22 million to be used until 2012 when the program would either cease, or request further budget appropriations. The Department of Defense reported that the program indeed ended in 2012 after a working period of 5 years. Since leaving the AATIP program, Mr. Elizondo has made it a personal crusade to get over many obstacles and hurdles in order to pursue continued research and investigations into the mystery of the UFOs that have buzzed US Navy Carrier Strike groups around the world, flown with impunity into restricted air space, interacted with sensitive National Defense assets, and traversed trans-medium environments such as Space, the Oceans, and the Skies around the globe. Mr. Elizondo began working with an organization founded in 2011 by the musician Tom DeLonge of the music band Blink-182, known as "To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science" where he was joined by other high ranking ex-Government consultants and officials, such as Dr. Hal Puthoff, who directed a CIA/DIA-funded program at SRI International to investigate paranormal abilities, and Chris Mellon, who was the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence in the Clinton and George W. Bush Administrations, and later in a capacity for Security and Information Operations, and also formerly served as the Staff Director of the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. In late 2020 it was reported that Mr. Elizondo and several others had parted company with "TTSA" in order to further pursue their own avenues of UFO Investigations. Shifting the Paradigm is a weekly Talk Show with guests from a wide variety of specialized fields of research related to the Paranormal - the Supernatural - the Unexplained - UAP / UFOs - Aliens - and the Mysterious.

Project Star Gate. A U.S. Army research unit that was established in 1978 out of Fort Meade, Maryland by the Defense Intelligence Agency and SRI International to investigate and establish psychic phenomena for militaristic purposes. Project Star Gate had a heavy focus on remote viewing with the intent to tap into Russian sites and establishments. The program was allegedly terminated in the early 90s and declassified in 1995. This move brought the concept of remote viewing and its legitimacy of it to the public forefront. (Why would the U.S. Military run a classified program for two decades if there wasn't truth to it?) This segues into our guest this week on The Malliard Report. This week Jim welcomes the renowned remote viewer and naturopathic healer, Dr. Kimberly McGeorge, to the show. “Dr. Kimberly McGeorge is an internationally renowned naturopathic doctor, energy healer, remote viewer, paranormal expert, and consciousness teacher. Her extensive client list includes of some of the world's most talented healers. Dr. Kimberly was born with the ability to remote view, see people's auras and was highly intuitive. While still in college, she helped police on many occasions. Finding she had a natural affinity with herbs, she worked as an herbalist and went on to create and distribute her own line of herbal organic products internationally. During this time, her personal practice expanded to multiple clinics throughout Columbus. Driven by her inner knowing that her healing work could be made much quicker, more affordable and amplified exponentially using technology, Dr. Kimberly consulted with an esteemed neurosurgeon and realized that the healing frequencies in naturopathy could be applied to all areas of her client's lives.” This is a fantastic show, and Dr. Kimberly is clearly one to not proverbially stand still for very long. She has been featured on many top programs on CNN, PBS, Coast to Coast (a Malliard favorite…), and many others.
