Also tonight, the second semifinal match in the NXT Breakout Tournament: Duke Hudson vs. Carmelo Hayes. RKBro is BACK! And they'll challenge AJ Styles & Omos for the Raw Tag Titles at SummerSlam. Riddle rescued Orton from a beating at the hands of Omos. Orton declared he respects Riddle and the two shook hands. Earlier, Styles pinned Riddle with the Styles Clash. Also added to SummerSlam, Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie. Drew McIntyre beat Veer & Shanky in a 2-on-1 match, pinning Shanky with a Claymore. That means Veer & Shanky will be banned from ringside for McIntyre's match against Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley pinned Raw Women's Champion Nikki ASH with the Riptide in a non-title match. After the match, Nikki went after Charlotte Flair, who was sitting in on commentary. That led to a tag team main event, where Charlotte & Nia Jax beat Nikki & Rhea. Charlotte pinned Rhea. Damian Priest pinned The Miz with a Brogue Kick - right in front of United States Champion Sheamus, who was on commentary at the time. John Morrison walked out on Miz during the match. Earlier, he learned Miz had been medically cleared for WEEKS before he finally got out his wheelchair last Monday. Mansoor got an outside assist from Mustafa Ali and pinned Mace. NXT Champion Karrion Kross quickly submitted Jeff Hardy with the Kross Jacket in a non-title match. Survivor Series is set for Sunday, November 21st at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dark has a big 8-Man Tag - Jurassic Express and the Varsity Blonds teaming up against The Wingmen. Also tonight, the ELITE HUNTER Frankie Kazarian vs. Brandon Cutler...Matt Hardy vs. Wheeler Yuta. Some notable names will make their AEW debuts. Lee Moriarty goes up against Dante Martin...and Masha Slamovich faces Penelope Ford. Plus, Kiera Hogan gets another look against Kris Statlander. (STINGER: ROH) On this past weekend's Ring Of Honor TV...Max The Impaler beat Hollidead in a first-round match in the women's title tournament. Also, Flip Gordon pinned Homicide to win a 10-Man “All-Stars vs. Champions” Tag Team main event. (STINGER: New Japan) COVID-19 concerns are leading to more changes for New Japan. This all started over the weekend, when IWGP World Heavyweight Champ Shingo Takagi and BUSHI were found to have fevers. The results of PCR tests still aren't back. So, Shingo and BUSHI are off of Tuesday's show...along with Testsuya Naito, SANADA, Yujiro Takahashi, Dick Togo and Gedo. The winner of New Japan's Super Junior Tag League will be decided on Tuesday's show. First, Junior Heavyweight Champ Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask face Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato. Eagles & Tiger Mask are still alive in the tournament but they need to win and get some help. The main event has the Junior Tag Champs Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo vs. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. If the Bullet Club tandem wins they take the tournament. If Despy & Kanemaru win, we could have a three-way tiebreaker to sort out. Getting back to Togo & Gedo, their absence from Monday's show means they'll miss their final Super Junior Tag League match. Their opponents, Roppongi 3K, dissolved as a team. So, New Japan is declaring the match a double forfeit - with neither team receiving any points. The breakup of Roppongi 3K was a violent one. SHO hung YOH out to dry during their match Monday against Despy & Kanemaru. YOH eventually succumbed to the numbers. After the match, SHO made his intentions clear and attacked YOH. Nikki Cross - Nikki Ash - Nikki A.S.H. - whatever you choose to call her. She cashed in Money In The Bank on Charlotte Flair...and pinned her with a crossbody off the top rope. Flair had just defended the title against Rhea Ripley in the main event. Ripley won by disqualification when Flair hit her with the title belt. There were some big returns on last night's Raw. Goldberg is back. He confronted WWE Champion Bobby Lashley...and informed him he's “next”. Lashley had just pinned Keith Lee to win a non-title match. Lee returned to Raw for the first time since last February to answer Lashley's open challenge. The WWE Women's Tag Champs Natalya & Tamina beat Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler in a non-title match. Tamina pinned Baszler with a superkick. Baszler berated Reginald and Jax after the match...and Jax sided with Baszler. She headbutted Reggie and left with Baszler. Moments later Akira Tozawa wandered into the ring and Reginald pinned him to win the 24/7 Championship. The United States Champion Sheamus beat Humberto Carillo. Riddle & The Viking Raiders beat John Morrison and the Raw Tag Champs AJ Styles & Omos. Morrison took the pin. Jaxson Ryker beat Elias in a Symphony Of Destruction Match. Drew McIntyre attacked Jinder Mahal and his crew. McIntyre battered Mahal's new pal Shanky with more than 20 chair shots. John Cena opened the show, but his focus is clearly on Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Cena said he'll appear on Friday's SmackDown. On last night's Elevation, he and Billy Gunn teamed up to beat Lee Johnson & Brock Anderson. Colten used a handful of tights to keep Johnson down for the pin. Frankie Kazarian submitted Baron Black. After the match, Doc Gallows laid out Kazarian. Those two are now set for a match on Wednesday's Dynamite. The COVID-19 state of emergency in Japan is being extended...and expanded. The country's Prime Minister is pushing the end date through the end of May. The state of emergency covers areas in and around Tokyo and Osaka...with Aichi and Fukuoka now added to the list. Some of the restrictions on businesses are expected to be eased. The encouraging news for pro wrestling companies in Japan is that the ban on spectators at large sporting events will be scaled back. Attendance will be capped at 5,000 people - or 50% of the venue's capacity. That would be good news for pro wrestling companies, including New Japan - which has a major show in Tokyo Dome on May 29th. Salina de la Renta is leaving MLW. Her final appearance was on last Wednesday's Fusion...when she crossed paths on-screen with the “El Jefe” of Azteca Underground. The man known in Lucha Underground as “Dario Cueto” will get a new name, according to MLW's Court Bauer. (Bauer On Cueto Name) Bauer speaking with Post Wrestling's John Pollock. Bauer says the deal with actor Luis Fernandez-Gil will keep him with MLW “for many years to come”. Bauer was asked about reports of recent talks between MLW and WWE, but he declined to comment. Omega arrived with minutes to spare - and just in time for he and the Good Brothers to run in on the main event between Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards - a qualifying match for a 6-Way #1 Contender's Match for Omega's Impact Championship. Juice Robinson and David Finlay quickly followed to join the fight. Impact later clarified on Twitter that Callihan won the match via disqualification. So, he qualifies for the #1 Contender's Match at the Impact Plus exclusive show Under Siege. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight's SmackDown is the final stop before WrestleMania...and there are a couple Mania-worthy matches on tonight's. There's a FATAL 4-Way for the SmackDown Tag Titles. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode defending against...Rey & Dominik Mysterio...Chad Gable & Otis...and the Street Profits. Also, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is on tonight's SmackDown. 22 participants are announced for that match - including Shinsuke Nakamura, Jey Uso and King Corbin. Night 2 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver last night. Kyle O'Reilly was battered, bruised, but victorious in his Unsanctioned Match against Adam Cole. O'Reilly wrapped his leg in a steel chain and then dropped it onto Cole from the top rope...while Cole was draped over an open, upside-down steel chair. Cole appeared to have O'Reilly beaten with the Panama Sunrise earlier in the match. The only problem was that Cole deliberately knocked out the referee just moments earlier. Karrion Kross reclaimed the NXT Championship he was forced to relinquish due to injury - beating Finn Balor last night. Kross is now an undefeated, 2-time champion in NXT. Johnny Gargano needed not one - but TWO - Final Beats to pin Bronson Reed...and hold onto the North American Title. Santos Escobar beat Jordan Devlin in a ladder match to unify both men's Cruiserweight Championships. Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon beat Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell to retain the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles. Drake Maverick and Killian Dain beat Breezango on the pre-show...to become the #1 contenders for MSK's NXT Tag Titles. Two successful title defenses in back-to-back days for WALTER. On Thursday's NXT UK Prelude special...he turned away the challenge of Rampage Brown. Tyler Bate earned a shot at A-Kid's Heritage Cup Title with a win over Noam Dar. Emilia McKenzie and Meiko Satomura beat UK Women's Champ Kay Lee Ray and Isla Dawn. McKenzie pinned Dawn with a small package. After the match, Satomura had a staredown with Aoife (EE-fah) Valkyire. It's another busy day of independent shows around WrestleMania Week in Tampa. GCW's Spring Break has Joey Janela vs. Chris Dickinson...and Ricky Shane Page vs. Nick Gage. Action Wrestling & Southern Underground Pro have a noontime show with Juice Robinson & David Finlay tagging up against Kevin Ku & Dominic Garrini. Deonna Purrazzo is set to defend the Impact Knockouts Championship against Rok-C...on a card promoted by New Texas Pro Wrestling. ICW has a late night show with Lio Rush vs. Low Ki...and Dr. Cube vs. JTG. (STINGER: Impact) We a have FIVE new matches announced for Impact's Hardcore Justice. That's an Impact Plus exclusive on Saturday starting at 3PM. A Hardcore War 4-On-4 Tag Match - Violent By Design vs. Tommy Dreamer and three partners who have yet to be revealed. Eric Young's crew took out WILDCAT Chris Harris on last night's Impact. Ace Austin, TJP and Josh Alexander also need partners for a 3-Way Tag at Hardcore Justice. Those three are also set for a 3-Way Singles match at the Rebellion pay-per-view...with Austin's X-Division Title on the line. Also added to Hardcore Justice… Mahabali Shera vs. Hernandez in a Chairs Match. Doc Gallows vs. Black Taurus. AND Jake Something and Brian Myers in a Hardcore Blindfold Match. On last night's Impact, Myers finally accepted Cardona's challenge for a match...at Rebellion. Impact was in its new Thursday night time slot last night...with AEW Champ Kenny Omega in the main event. He and the Good Brothers fell to Impact Champ Rich Swann, Willie Mack and Eddie Edwards. Swann pinned Karl Anderson. Moments earlier, Swann appeared to have Omega pinned, but Don Callis interrupted the referee's count. Also last night, Trey Miguel decided to tag up with Sami Callihan, and together they beat XXXL. (STINGER: New Japan) Tonight's New Japan Strong will have all FOUR first round matches in the U.S. version of the New Japan Cup tournament - Lio Rush vs. Clark Connors...Ren Narita vs. FILTHY Tom Lawlor...Fred Rosser vs. Hikuleo...and Brody King vs. Chris Dickinson. (STINGER: WWE) New matches announced...and a big change to another...for WrestleMania. The showdown between The Miz and Bad Bunny will now be a tag team match. Miz and John Morrison vs. Bad Bunny and Damien Priest. The challenge was laid out by Priest after Miz and Morrison defaced Bad Bunny's $3.6 million dollar Buggati. The WWE Women's Tag Team Titles will be defended at WrestleMania. But first, we need a challenger. A Tag Team Turmoil match will decide that on Night 1 of Mania - Naomi & Lana vs. Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs. The Riott Squad vs. Tamina & Natalya. Those teams were announced on last night's Raw. WWE's website listed a fifth team - Carmella & Billie Kay. Anyway, whichever team wins on Night 1 will challenge the champs, Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler on Night 2. Raw women's champion Asuka and her WrestleMania challenger Rhea Ripley were NOT able to coexist last night. They lost to a non-title match to the WWE women's tag champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Ripley attacked Asuka during the match, allowing Baszler to PIN Asuka. Drew McIntyre survived a final hurdle on his road to Mania, beating King Corbin. WWE Champ Bobby Lashley warmed up for their showdown with a non-title win over Cedric Alexander. Xavier Woods rolled up AJ Styles for an upset win...and U.S. Champ Riddle pinned Mustafa Ali in another non-title match... WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremonies air tonight on WWE Network and Peacock starting at 8PM. The Class of 2020 includes The nWo, The Bella Twins, JBL, British Bulldog, Jushin “Thunder” Liger and William Shatner. Titus O'Neill will receive the 2020 Warrior Award. The Class of 2021 includes Kane, Rob Van Dam, The Great Khali, Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff and Ozzy Osbourne. (STINGER: AEW) A new match added to Wednesday's Dynamite: Max Caster from The Acclaimed...vs. Hangman Page. On last night's Dark: Elevation...Caster used some distraction and a boombox to beat Dark Order's Colt Cabana...and Page beat Bill Collier. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page beat Matt & Mike Sydal. Plus, Michael Nakazawa got a singles match...and a win...over Vary Morales. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan laying out its road map for the next two months. The Road To Wrestling Dontaku begins Saturday. The full cards are out there, but here are the noteworthy matches. The main event on Tuesday, April 20th is a NEVER 6-Man Tag Title match - Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI defending against Bullet Club's KENTA, Yujiro Takahashi & Taiji Ishimori. On Monday, April 26th, two singles matches headline the show. Tetsuya Naito vs. Great-O-Khan and SANADA vs. Aaron Henare. The Jr. Tag Titles will be defended two days later. Roppongi 3K vs. the former champs, El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Also on that card, Toru Yano defends the KOPW 2021 Provisional title against EVIL. The first of the big Wrestling Dontaku shows is on Monday, May 3rd. Hiroshi Tanahashi defends the NEVER Title against Jay White...and Taichi vs. Tama Tonga in a Ladder Match with the Iron Finger From Hell suspended above the ring. The following day, YOH challenges El Desperado for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title...and Will Ospreay defends the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Shingo Takagi. Whoever wins that match will defend the big belt against Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Grand Slam in Tokyo Dome...on Saturday, May 29th. IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley issued a challenge Monday. He wants his next title defense to be against...Yuji Nagata. (STINGER: ROH) On this past weekend's Ring Of Honor TV...Brian Johnson used a low blow to create an opening for his Trust The Process finisher, as he pinned Danhausen. Also, Eli Isom pinned LSG. (STINGER: New Japan) Will Ospreay is the top man in New Japan. He defeated Kota Ibushi at Sunday's Sakura Genesis show...to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. After his crowning moment, Ospreay issued a challenge to Kazuchika Okada. Okada answered the call to the ring, but before he could answer Ospreay...Okada was interrupted by Shingo Takagi, who also wants a shot at Ospreay. Ospreay agreed to face Takagi first...then Okada. Ospreay's United Empire revealed a new member at Sunday's show: Aaron Henare - the former Toa Henare. He teamed up with Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb to defeat Tetsuya Naito, SANADA and Takagi. Henare pinned SANADA. The Junior Tag Titles also changed hands at Sakura Genesis. Roppongi 3K dethroned El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. YOH debuted a new finisher - the Direct Drive - to pin Kanemaru. This the fifth Junior Tag Title reign for Roppongi 3K. But YOH - who just got back from an ACL tear - wants more. He's got his eyes on Despy's singles junior title. Hiroshi Tanahashi and Satoshi Kojima beat Jay White and Bad Luck Fale. Tanahashi pinned Fale. Then, Tanahashi went after White after the match - locking him in the Texas Cloverleaf until White tapped. Tanahashi then accepted White's challenge for his NEVER Title. In the opening match, Zack Sabre Jr. pinned one half of the heavyweight tag champs, Tanga Loa, to win a 6-man tag. After the match, New Japan Chairman Subabayashi took possession of the Iron Fingers belonging to ZSJ's tag partner Taichi. Hiromu Takahashi made an appearance at the top of the show, as he joined the commentary team. Takahashi is still out with a shoulder injury. More news from Japan... Stardom held a major show Sunday at Budokan Hall...where Utami Hayashishita fought off Bea Priestly's challenge for the World of Stardom Title. Afterward, Priestly announced that the match was her last in Stardom.. In the main event, Giulia and Syuri won the Goddesses of Stardom Titles. They dethroned Maika & Himeka. (STINGER: WWE) A new match announced for tonight's Raw - Xavier Woods vs. AJ Styles. Also tonight…women's champ Asuka teams up with her WrestleMania challenger Rhea Ripley...to face the WWE Women's Tag Champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. That is a non-title match. WWE officially added a stipulation to the Intercontinental Title match on Night 2 of WrestleMania.
