NXT Women's Championship: Rhea Ripley (C) vs Bianca Belair: Ripley became the top women in the NXT Division defeating Shayna Baszler to win the NXT Championship. The last time Ripley did not win a match was a no-contest match with Becky Lynch on November 20th, 2019. As the NXT Champion, she defended her title four times - twice with Baszler, Toni Storm, and Bianca Belair. In the midst, Ripley has gone to RAW a few times demanding an answer from Charlotte Flair (Royal Rumble Winner) to choose her as her opponent for WrestleMania. That did not suit well for Belair.Belair is the number one contender for the NXT Championship. On January 15, 2020, she claimed her position by winning the Royal Rumble (NXT show) over 17 superstars. Belair went on to showcase an epic performance by becoming the first female to eliminate eight superstars at the Royal Rumble 2020. She lasted 33 minutes and 20 seconds as Flair threw her over the ropes for elimination. Belair feels she is being overlooked by both Flair and Ripley. However, Ripley stated she sees through her and will defeat her at TakeOver.Pick (1) There is no winner. Flair will somehow show up and disrupt the match and create a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania.Pick (2) Bianca Belair upsets Ripley and will go on and challenge Charlotte at WrestleMania.NXT Championship: Adam Cole (C) vs Tommaso Ciampa. The top story of this match is that Ciampa wants his title back in which he never lost. If you follow wrestling, you know this storyline replicates so many others. However, there seems to be a big push to have Ciampa remain the top man of NXT and a potential exit soon for Cole. Roderick Strong lost his North American title to Keith Lee. The Undisputed Era tag team champs did not win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament Classic. Here we are with the main event card and although Cole will do anything to remain champion, I do not see it happening.Pick: Tommaso Ciampa becomes the two-time NXT Champion.NXT Tag Team Championship: The Undisputed Era (C) vs The Broserweights.Matt Riddle has been a successful tag team partner. The most notable partner was Keith Lee. Riddle and Pete Dunne became reunited tag team partners on December 13, 2019. They have won 7 straight matches to include winners of the Dusty Rhodes Classic. They became the new number one contenders for the tag team titles. Despite the success, Riddle has been known for an altercation that has been downplayed but Triple H. People speculate that Riddle had issues with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and a moment on social media about Goldberg. It sure didn't stop the Broserweights to achieve greatness at this current level.On the other hand, The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) have not been on the winning side as of late. The last time they won a match was January 8th, 2020 defeating Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. Fish and O'Reilly lost seven straight matches. They are going over 169 days as tag team champions.Pick: The Broserweights will become the new NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSNXT North American Championship: Keith Lee (C) vs Dominik Dijakovic. Lee and Dijakovic are the biggest men with athleticism that goes beyond approach. Lee is the current champion and Dijakovic is a deserving one. However, only one superstar can with this match. Nearly one month ago, Lee won the North American Championship by pinning Roderick Strong. He went head to head with Brock Lesnar and was eliminated with Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble 2020. Dijakovic is an ally to Lee and they have been teammates before. Both superstars respect one another and they will steal the show.Pick: Keith Lee remains NXT North American ChampionFinn Balor vs Johnny Gargano. Balor has been the most dominant superstar since his return. He was defeated by Adam Cole because of distraction by Gargano. Both superstars have so much hatred for one another that anything can happen.Pick: Finn Balor winsDakota Kai vs Tegan Nox (Street Fight). Kai turned heel on former teammate Nox during NXT Takeover: Wargames. Both superstars had been tag team partners since April 13, 2018. Nox has one victory over Kai on January 29, 2020. Representing Ireland at the EFP Producer on the Move programme at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, Mark Coffey talks to producer Alan Maher about his life in film. Alan Maher set up Marcie Films (formerly Roads Entertainment) in 2013, produced the documentary Being Ap and served as the Irish partner for Maya Zinshtein’s Forever Pure, both of which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Alan produced Pat Collins’ biopic Song of Granite, which premiered at SXSW this March, and is now raising the finance for Hong Khaou’s drama Trade. Alan has been selected for the EFP Producer on the Move programme, representing Ireland at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. Each year, the prestigious festival selects 20 promising, up-and-coming producers from throughout Europe to participate in the initiative which connects European producers with potential co-production partner
Mark Coffey was raised in an LDS family on the coast of southern Ireland, and has lived in Dublin, Ireland, since he was 12 years old. He works as an IT Manager. Mark met his spouse as a teenager and they have been married 22 years. He was a missionary in the Canada, Winnipeg mission, has served in many ward callings including as a bishop, and is now part of a stake presidency.
