(STINGER: WWE) The WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on last night's RAW in an apparent backstage dispute over booking plans. Last night's show opened up promoting a “6 Pack Challenge” to decide the #1 contender for the Raw Women's Championship…with Banks, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Nikki A.S.H., and Doudrop. But less than an hour into the show, that match was changed during a backstage segment where Lynch said Banks and Naomi had left the building. Reports soon surfaced that this had actually happened…and WWE released a statement that stated that Banks and Naomi went into John Laurinaitis' office during the broadcast, put their title belts on his desk, and walked out…claiming they were ”uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents”. Banks and Naomi were repeatedly referred to as “unprofessional” during the remainder of RAW. The main event saw Asuka beat Becky Lynch in a one-on-one match. She will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at Hell In A Cell. Also now set for that event, Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins inside Hell In A Cell. Bobby Lashley beat Omos in a steel cage match. Omos threw Lashley through a panel of the cage and Lashley was able to walk away with the win. Veer Mahaan got a submission win over Mustafa Ali. The Miz was once again the special guest referee. And United States Champion Theory was also there to cause trouble for Ali. A post-match attack was interrupted by Rey & Dominik Mysterio's return to RAW. RAW Tag Team Champion Riddle beat SmackDown Tag Champ Jimmy Uso. AJ Styles & Finn Balor - with Liv Morgan in their corner - beat Los Lotharios. Alexa Bliss beat Sonya Deville. The DNA test on Ezekiel was inconclusive. Ezekiel later got a win over Chad Gable. Tonight's NXT has Santos Escobar vs. Tony D'Angelo. Plus, the Creed Brothers vs. the Viking Raiders…and North American Champ Cameron Grimes & Solo Sikoa team up against Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams. A music venue in Kansas City announced that it's postponed a post-Raw event featuring an appearance by Jeff Hardy. The venue's Facebook page said Hardy tested positive for COVID-19 and must quarantine for the next two weeks. (STINGER: New Japan) Shingo Takagi is still the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He beat Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event of Sunday's Wrestle Grand Slam. Tanahashi was a late substitute for Kota Ibushi, who is recovering from aspiration pneumonia. After the match, Takagi was attacked by EVIL who declared himself the next title challenger. Robbie Eagles submitted El Desperado to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title. He's the first Australian to hold that title. Hiromu Takehashi opened the show by declaring he's ready to return to the ring and wants the next shot at the junior title...and he and Eagles had a staredown after the title match. Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. reclaimed the IWGP Tag Titles. They beat Tetsuya Naito & SANADA. Sabre used a European clutch to pin Naito. The all-women Empowerrr show on Saturday, August 28th will feature the NWA Women's Invitational Cup tournament. The winner will get a shot at the NWA Women's World Championship at the NWA's 73rd Anniversary pay per view the following day. The first announced entrant for the tournament is Tootie Lynn. He's being promoted for next week's show. We got an NXT UK Tag Title match on Thursday's episode. Pretty Deadly turned away a challenge from Nathan Frazer & Jack Starz. Starz took the pin. Joe Coffey beat Rampage Brown in the main event. After the match, Coffey and Brown appeared to be discussing a rematch. That's when Ilja Dragunov showed up...implying these three will have some business to settle. Earlier in the show, Dragunov pinned Noam Dar with Torpedo Moscow. Also, Joseph Conners pinned Flash Morgan Webster with a hangman's neckbreaker...and Jordan Devlin made a brief appearance - his first time on NXT UK since before WrestleMania. Also tonight…the Young Bucks vs. Pac & Penta El Zero Miedo… Dustin Rhodes vs. Nick Coromoto in a Texas Bullrope Match… Christian Cage & Jungle Boy vs. Private Party... Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson vs. QT Marshall and Anthony Ogogo A championship celebration for the new AEW Women's Champ Dr. Britt Baker. We'll hear from Mark Henry on AEW TV for the first time. AEW regular Madi Wrenkowski says she'll miss 4-6 weeks of action due to a fractured nose. (STINGER: Impact) The main event of Impact's Against All Odds show is in some doubt. Moose is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship...but on last night's Impact...the main event between Moose and Sami Callihan was interrupted by Omega and the Good Brothers. They attacked Moose. That meant a DQ victory for Callihan. Scott D'Amore now wants to add Callihan to the title match at Against All Odds - making it a 3-Way. Don Callis says AEW Owner Tony Khan won't want Callihan wrestling Omega. D'Amore responded by saying Khan will be on next week's Impact so D'Amore can pitch adding Callihan in-person. The Knockouts Title Match at Against All Odds may also see a late change. Rosemary and Havok will meet on next week's Impact. If Havok wins, she gets added to the Title Match at Against All Odds. If Rosemary wins, she gets Deonna Purrazzo all to herself. Josh Alexander is still the X-Division Champion. He survived a 60-Minute Iron Man Match against TJP last night. It began on Before The Impact...and extended into the opening minutes of Impact's main show...and then it went into overtime. Alexander held a 1-0 lead...and had TJP in an ankle lock...but TJP managed to reverse it into a rollup with just seconds left on the clock to even the match and force overtime. In OT, Alexander hit Divine Intervention...and pinned TJP for the win. Fire n' Flava beat Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering to retain the Knockouts Tag Titles. Grace took the pin. Kimber Lee & Susan will get the next title shot at Against All Odds. Rich Swann was set for a match against W. Morrissey...but Morrissey attacked Swann before the match...brawled with security...and the match never happened. Willie Mack eventually ran off Morrissey. That'll be the match on next week's Impact...and they'll try again with Swann vs. Morrissey at Against All Odds. Another title match announced last night for Against All Odds: Rhyno & Deaner defending the tag titles against Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus. Jake Something beat Rohit Raju in a Tables Match. Satoshi Kojima blew through Deaner to win his Impact in-ring debut. We also got the first vignette promoting the Impact debut of Steve Maclin - the former Steve Cutler of WWE's Forgotten Sons. Impact announced last night a limited number of fans will be in attendance for the Slammiversary pay per view in Nashville on July 17th. (STINGER: New Japan) The aforementioned Kojima will appear on tonight's New Japan Strong. He'll tag with Karl Fredericks against Team Filthy's JR Kratos and Danny Limelight. A few other news bits from Japan… Kzy (kay-zee) is the winner of Dragon Gate's King Of Gate tournament. He defeated Kota Minoura (mee-NOR-ah) in the final match on Thursday. (STINGER: ROH) This weekend's Ring Of Honor TV has the first match in the Survival Of The Fittest tournament: Flamita vs. Rey Horus. Also, a Pure Rules Match between Silas Young and Josh Woods. Major League Wrestling is bringing in one of the hottest names on the U.S. independent scene - Lee Moriarty...and will debut with MLW at its show in Philadelphia on July 10th. There was also a video on last night's Raw hyping up the return of Eva Marie! As promised, we got the return of the Raw Tag Team Champs AJ Styles and Omos last night...and they successfully defended their titles in a WrestleMania rematch against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Lana and Naomi got a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles - but Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler retained the gold. Baszler submitted Lana. In last night's main event, WWE Champ Bobby Lashley beat Braun Strowman in a non-title match. Strowman was distracted by Drew McIntyre, who was hanging around ringside. After the match, McIntyre laid out both guys. We're getting Lashley vs. McIntyre in another non-title match on next Monday's Raw. Lucha House Party beat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. Alexander berated Benjamin after the match...and said their tag team is “done”. Angel Garza pinned Drew Gulak with the Wing Clipper. After the match, Garza shoved a rose down the back of Gulak's trunks and kicked him in the rear. Team R-K-Bro beat Elias and Jaxson Ryker...and Damien Priest beat John Morrison. That means Sabre and Taichi will get another shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles held by the Guerillas of Destiny. (STINGER: ROH) A title change on Ring Of Honor's weekend TV. Tony Deppen is the new ROH TV Champion. He used a clever pinning combination to take the gold from HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams. Also on the show, Flamita snuck in a low blow to pin his former tag partner Bandido. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett beat the Beer City Bruiser and Ken Dixon. After the match, Taven hit Bruiser with a beer bottle. Bennett did not seem to be on board with that. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dark has...the return of Pac, taking on Serpentico. Mexico's AAA promotion is setting up some big interpromotional matches. Andrade El Idolo showed up during their Rey De Reyes show over the weekend. In a prerecorded video, he challenged Kenny Omega to defend the AAA Mega Championship against him...at TripleMania. A date for that show has not been announced. Also at Rey De Reyes, Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo appeared in person...and she challenged AAA's new women's champ Faby Apache to a “winner takes all” Title vs. Title Match...also at TripleMania. Apache had just won the vacant title in a multi-woman match. A surprise entrant was a recast version of Sexy Star - now portrayed by Hija de Gatubela. Laredo Kid won the Rey De Reyes itself. Black Taurus won the vacant AAA Latin American Championship. And we saw the debut of a new stable called La Empresa - Puma King, Diamante Azul and Sam Adonis - posing as invaders from rival promotion, CMLL. (STINGER: WWE) Not much announced for tonight's Raw as of Sunday night. We do know the Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Omos are promising to appear on the show. It'll be their first time on Raw since they won the belts back at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan's profile on WWE.com was moved to the “alumni” section over the weekend. Bryan is now BANISHED from SmackDown after he lost a Universal Title match to Roman Reigns on Friday. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan is holding the first of its two Wrestling Dontaku shows this morning. Hiroshi Tanahashi is putting his NEVER Title on the line in the main event against Jay White. Tuesday's show…has Will Ospreay defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event...against Shingo Takagi. Also, El Desperado defends the Jr. Heavyweight Championship against YOH. If Reed wins, he gets another shot at Johnny Gargano's North American Title. Also, Mercedes Martinez vs. Dakota Kai...and Kushida & MSK vs. Legado Del Fantasma The WWE Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash...is now a 3-Way. Bobby Lashley will now defend against Drew McIntyre AND Braun Strowman. Strowman earned his place in the match by pinning McIntyre in the main event of last night's Raw. A distraction by T-Bar and Mace gave Strowman the opening he needed. The show opened with T-Bar & Mace beating McIntyre & Strowman via countout...after McIntyre hit Strowman with an errant clothesline. Strowman hit McIntyre with a powerslam after the match. One week after Charlotte Flair suspended indefinitely, and fined, for attacking a referee...she was BACK on Raw. She apologized to the ref she pummeled...and after some prodding the ref apologized to Charlotte. Sonya Deville was on hand for all of this and she lifted Charlotte's suspension. This was apparently ALL news to Adam Pearce. Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler beat Asuka, Naomi and Lana. Jax pinned Lana. Earlier in the match, Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose strolled out...threw water at Baszler...which led to Jax slipping on the wet floor. All this in retaliation for Jax throwing flowers at Brooke & Rose earlier. Deville decided to punish her former tag partner Rose with a match against Charlotte Flair. And Charlotte pinned Mandy with Natural Selection to win that match. I guess R-K-Bro is gonna be a thing. Riddle and Randy Orton teamed up to beat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. Damien Priest, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods pelted The Miz, John Morrison, Elias and Jaxson Ryker with tomatoes...then won a trios match against them Humberto Carrillo was back on Raw to once again get in the face of the United States Champion Sheamus. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan joined other promotions Monday...in calling off some shows due to a new COVID-19 state of emergency in parts of Japan. Three shows at Korakuen Hall scheduled for May 8th, 10th & 11th are now canceled. New Japan has a big show on Wednesday - with Roppongi 3K defending the Jr. Tag Titles in the main event...against El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Also, Toru Yano will defend the KOPW 2021 provisional title against EVIL. It'll be a Creation Of Darkness Blindfold Match. Blindfolds/hoods will be hung on each ring post. A decision can not be scored until you use one to blindfold your opponent. A couple big singles matches on the Road To Wrestling Dontaku on Monday. It was a good day for Los Ingobernables De Japon. Tetsuya Naito delivered THREE Destinos to pin Great-O-Khan in the main event. And, SANADA pinned Aaron Henare after a TKO and a pair of moonsaults. (STINGER: AEW) Some fresh faces on tonight's Dark...including former Lucha Underground Champion Marty Casaus (ka-SAUCE) making his AEW debut against Brian Cage. Also, The Blade & Private Party vs. Dark Order's Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & 10. On last night's Dark: Elevation...Big Swole & Red Velvet beat the dysfunctional team of Nyla Rose & Madi Wrenkowski. Rose was bullying Wrenkowski. Wrenkowski was giving Rose an attitude. Rose eventually turned on her - hitting a powerbomb on Wrenkowski and then just walking away. Matt Sydal pinned Joey Janela in the main event. Also, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky beat Dark Order's Alex Reynolds and Alan “5” Angels. (STINGER: ROH) On Ring Of Honor's weekend TV…The first outing for Violence Unlimited was a disqualification LOSS in a trios match against La Faccion Ingobernable. Brody King used a chair on Bestia Del Ring to draw the DQ. The show ended with The Foundation running out to beat up BOTH factions. Earlier, Eli Isom and Dak Draper wrestled to a 15-minute time limit draw. It looked like were gonna get 5 more minutes, but Dalton Castle arrived on the scene first - sporting a new look AND new BOYS. Castle kicked both guys in the groin to put them down...and then, danced away. Next weekend's ROH TV will have HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams' first defense of his TV Title...against Tony Deppen. Tonight's NWA Powerrr has Da Pope defending the NWA TV Title against Tyrus. Major League Wrestling will debut on VICE TV this Saturday at Noon.
