Last night on Smackdown, Cody Rhodes told Roman he still wanted to take the WWE Universal Title and everything else away from Roman, just not at WrestleMania? Then, The Rock showed up, being someone, as Cody put, knows Roman very well, to apparently take Cody's place at WrestleMania. And fans are VERY Mixed about this. But let me remind them something else Cody said, he was moving his goal post, meaning he could be getting his shot a lot sooner, or immendintly afterwards. Which either means at Chamber or Backlash, maybe even unification at Summerslam perhaps.? People are upset that Daniel Bryan got added to the Wrestlemania 37 Main Event for the WWE Universal Title. As seen on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan will challenge Roman Reigns and Edge in a Triple Threat Match on Night Two of Wrestlemania. The reason that this change was made reportedly was because Vince McMahon wanted Wrestlemania 37 to be BIGGER. Not much else has really changed besides this, and everything seems pretty straight forward. That was not the reason. The real reason came out this week, and I knew after I had watched SmackDown last week. Edge looked much older than we remember him looking, and visually, WWE management saw the same thing. Daniel Bryan now makes it a LEGIT MAIN EVENT for Wrestlemania 37. In the wake of Roadblock: End of the Line, how deep will the shockwaves be felt from the controversial ending of the WWE Universal Championship Match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns and the destruction that took place as a result? Triple H’s surprise return during last week’s WWE Universal Championship Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match main event seemed to signal an easy victory for Seth Rollins; for years, The Authority’s longtime poster boy benefited from a close association to The Cerebral Assassin — even inheriting The Game’s Pedigree as his finishing maneuver! Yet, after Triple H helped Rollins eliminate Roman Reigns from the bout, the WWE COO betrayed his one-time chosen champion, helping Kevin Owens claim the WWE Universal Title instead.Owens was brought into WWE NXT by Triple H himself, and if their consistent string of “Too Sweet” photos on social media is any indication, The Prizefighter and The Game have remained incredibly close over the past two years.
