Are you chasing your own definition of success, or somebody else's? I chased someone else's for a long time, and it nearly cost me everything that actually mattered. One of the bigger things we got into is what I call the more disease. It's this constant craving for more money, more status, more followers, more stuff, and it infects high performers especially hard because we're wired to always push for the next level. The cure isn't actually more. It's contentment. Getting crystal clear on what you truly want and then practicing real gratitude for it, that's what breaks the cycle. Success without fulfillment is a trap, and I've watched it swallow people who look like they have everything. We also dug into digital overload, and honestly this one hits people harder than they realize. Constant screens, constant notifications, constant comparison, it quietly wrecks your happiness, your focus, and your relationships without you even noticing it happening. I shared some of the simple habits I use to fight it, like keeping the first and last thirty minutes of my day completely screen free. And we talked about growth. Real growth doesn't happen by accident. It takes consistent investment, reading in the morning, listening to something good in the afternoon, watching something educational at night. Small, repeatable habits stacked on top of each other over time. That's the whole game. Matching aprons erased the appearance of social rank, and the room became a place to reward loyalty, recruit supporters and build political alliances.The panel lays out the beefsteak's non-negotiables: slices of beef served continuously on pieces of bread, no forks, no knives and traditionally no napkins. Diners eat the meat, stack the bread and use their aprons to wipe their hands. Augie Haas is a professional trumpeter, composer and teacher who has lent his talents to some of the world's greatest stages. He's currently a regular member of the orchestra at Aladdin on Broadway. He's worked with incredible artists like Harry Connick Jr. and RAYE. Lindsey and Augie spoke about his work on RAYE's incredible sophomore album, This Music May Contain Hope. The amazing record is one that transcends genres, and fittingly, Augie and Lindsey spoke a lot about both the uncertainty and the power of creative rule breaking. Augie is also the creator and frontman of Augie Haas + 8, a nonet built on his love of large-ensemble sound. The incredible band plays every second Monday of the month at The Speakeasy on New York's Upper West Side. In addition to his music, Augie is also the author of Build Your Range and Little Augie And His Trumpet.

A pivotal early moment in her career was attending Gaz Regan's Cocktails in the Country in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, in 2016 — a four-day intensive she credits with shaping her approach to mindful, service-first bartending.
