Colleen and Maddie join Caitlin to cover 2022's Torn Hearts. Torn Hearts is a great look at the complexities in women's friendships, especially the competition therein. Brea Grant is an award-winning writer/director. She most recently directed the horror thriller TORN HEARTS for Blumhouse/Epix/Paramount starring Katey Sagal. She also wrote/directed 12 HOUR SHIFT (Tribeca 2020, winner of Best Screenplay at Fantasia 2020) starring Angela Bettis and David Arquette. The same year, she wrote/starred in the film LUCKY (SXSW 2020). SShe has also written/directed for Netflix and the CW and recently wrote/directed on the upcoming series UNCONVENTIONAL. She has written four comic series including the recent, MARY. She co-hosts a book podcast called Reading Glasses. She is originally from Texas but resides in Los Angeles with her two elderly pets and her boyfriend.

Written by Rachel Koller Croft, the plot follows a country music duo who are trying to make it big in Nashville. When they have the chance to meet their idol, they jump at it. Things do not go quite as planned in a twist filled story that tackles the patriarchy, age,  and the country music industry.Is there anything Stephen King cannot do? Of course, he has written numerous books and short stories, but he has also been a director and acted. Sleepwalkers was the first feature film written by the horror icon. It is about a mother and son who are also shapeshifters that feed on virgins(?) and have sex with each other in their spare time.Cat lovers will probably get a kick out it and it is a precursor to one of the most popular sub genres in modern porn, but does it have anything for horror fans? We agreed that it was inconsistent - and we even thought so for the same reasons - but we still each got something different out of Sleepwalkers.
