"Living with God is True Education." When we hear stories and tales of those who walked, lived and conversed with God, we understand the profundity of this message of Bhagawan. "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye" the vedas declare, meaning, only that is true education which liberates us. What is this education that the Avatar imparts to us? And how does He do it? We get a glimpse of this when those who have interacted with Swami share their moments of revelation and learning. Y Arvind, an alumnus of Bhagawan's university, picks one such profound moment today for this episode of OMS. OMS Playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBRCC43j_ndbMBFp1crIB2U2FGtqnyIp-

It means staying in and saving sometimes when others are going out. Like the bible says: "A debtor is a slave to the lender" or in other words, living paycheck to paycheck is a form of modern-day financial slavery, and the only way to break the bondage is to make sacrifices of spending money and putting value in places that others around you may not see. Saving and budgeting early in your career is one of the most important things you can do.-- Getting into education before social media required working with a brand and working your way, slowly, up the ladder. Now, anyone who knows how to build social media can skip those steps of training and become an independent educator. Ashlee is working to bring back the super high quality of academy training from before social media to the world while using social media's relevance.

Welcome to "Light of Reflection," where today's episode takes a deep dive into the transformative approach of our academy - focusing on teaching the core, not just the crust. We explore the vital distinction between the interior and exterior aspects of education, emphasizing the importance of reaching the inner self: the insight, spirit, heart, and aql. We discuss how conventional education systems often concentrate on the exterior intellect, neglecting the core that forms a person's true essence. In contrast, our academy aims to nurture this core, believing it to be the key to stable, long-lasting knowledge and faith. Join us in understanding why focusing on the core leads to education that becomes a fixed part of one's self, reflecting positively on the exterior. We discuss how this approach aligns with the teachings of the prophets and our imams, who focused on the interior to effect exterior change. Has our education system changed diabolically? Do parents entrust the education of their children to government schools? Does the public school system educate children today or has evil penetrated our public school system to the point that propaganda has become their agenda? All propaganda is aimed to present an anti-God worldview. Take God out of the schools, take God out of our society, culture, and all seven mountains of influence and what have you got? A nation of people who do not know who their Father is and consequently do not have a clue who they are.  How can parents cope with the current education system propagandizing our children in anti-Biblical ideas? Is home schooling the answer? Is private Christian education the answer? How can the next generation be taught true life lessons from Scripture?  This podcast is with the headmaster of a private Christian school, Frank Cantadore.  We discuss the intention behind the various current theories being presented through our school systems such as transgender. How the intent of current theories attacks the very identity of our children. Frank is at the forefront of a move of God to educate and train the sons and daughters mentioned in Romans 8. The whole earth groans waiting for the revelation of the sons of God. Get ready for the great Reset of our education system.  Children are the point of the spear in the Seed war being fought today. This war is primarily a psyche-ops war with the minds of our children being the primary target. Children are the future. Satan is trying to steal our future by perverting the next generation. What are we doing to counteract this evil movement? Come listen to our podcast and open the eyes and ears of your spirit to allow God to speak to your heart. The education system that the majority of the world has adopted has produced far too many drones, people that are perhaps smart enough to do their jobs, but clearly not smart enough to question why. How did we get to this point? For far too long we have been inhibited in our growth by only focusing on the protocol of something, the how, and not the rationale, the why we do something. How can we discover truth in a world full of theories? How can we truly manipulate reality? Enter the 7 Liberal Arts, the solution that lies in the ancient education of the Trivium and Quadrivium. It is the foundation of knowledge, and therefore freedom. A complete comprehension of anything requires we know these methods, and to learn not just the quantitative side, but also the qualitative side. AND she is starting a new Charlotte Mason podcast called The New Mason Jar, set to begin airing on August 5, 2021!  Commonplace Quotes: Literature is full of teaching, by precept and example, concerning the management of our physical nature. I shall offer a lesson here and there by way of sample, but no doubt the reader will think of many better teachings; and that is as it should be; the way such teaching should come to us is, here a little and there a little, incidentally, from books which we read for the interest of the story, the beauty of the poem, or the grace of the writing. Charlotte Mason I acquired a hunger for fairy tales in the dark days of blackout and blitz in the Second World War. I read early and voraciously and indiscriminately–Andrew Lang's colored Fairy Book, Hans Andersen, King Arthur, Robin Hood, and my very favorite book, Asgard and the Gods, a German scholarly text, with engravings, about Norse mythology, which my mother had used as a crib in her studies of Ancient Norse. I never really like stories about children doing what children do–quarreling and cooking and camping. I like magic, the unreal, the more than real. I learned from the Asgard book that even the gods can be defeated by evil. I knew nothing about the Wagnerian Nordic pageantry of the Third Reich. Nor did I have any inkling that the British occupying forces in Germany after the war were going to ban the Grimms because they fed a supposedly bloodthirsty German imagination. Indeed, I retreated into them from wartime anxieties. A. S. Byatt Every fairy tale worth recording at all is the remnant of tradition possessing true historical value; historical, at least, insofar as it has arisen out of the mind of a people under special circumstance, and risen not without meaning, nor removed altogether from their sphere of religious faith. John Ruskin Sonnet 104 by William Shakespeare To me, fair friend, you never can be old, For as you were when first your eye I eyed, Such seems your beauty still. Three winters cold Have from the forests shook three summers' pride, Three beauteous springs to yellow autumn turned In process of the seasons have I seen, Three April perfumes in three hot Junes burned, Since first I saw you fresh, which yet are green. Ah, yet doth beauty, like a dial-hand, Steal from his figure, and no pace perceived; So your sweet hue, which methinks still doth stand, Hath motion, and mine eye may be deceived: For fear of which, hear this, thou age unbred: Ere you were born was beauty's summer dead. Join us again next week for our discussion of Frank Uhlman's short story “Reunion.” We are excited to announce our third annual Literary Life Back to School Online Conference! AND she is starting a new Charlotte Mason podcast called The New Mason Jar, set to begin airing on August 5, 2021!  Listen to The Literary Life: Commonplace Quotes: If you've got something you want to say, just think first as to whether it's really worthwhile, and you're sure to find that it isn't. Hugh Walpole, “The Enemy in Ambush” The vicar's wife would not be quite that endless whimper of self-pity which she now is, if she did not in a sense “love” the family. The continued disappointment of her continued and ruthless demand for sympathy, for affection, for appreciation has helped to make her what she is. The greed to be loved is a fearful thing. Some of those who say, and almost with pride, that they live only for love, come at last to live in incessant resentment. C. S. Lewis Lastly, from the properties (the castle on the mountain, the cottage in the wood, the helpful beasts, the guardian dragons, the cave, the fountain, the trysting lane, etc.), he will acquire the basic symbols to which he can add railway trains, baths, wrist-watches and what-have-you from his own experience, and so build up a web of associations which are the only means by which his inner and outer life, his past and his present, can be related to, and mentally enrich, each other. Half our troubles, both individual neuroses and collective manias like nationalism, seem to me to be caused largely by our poverty of symbols, so that not only do we fail to relate one experience to another but also we have to entrust our whole emotional life to the few symbols we do have. W.H. Auden, In Praise of the Brothers Grimm, The New York Times Book Review, 12 November 1944 Imagination by John Davidson There is a dish to hold the sea, A brazier to contain the sun, A compass for the galaxy, A voice to wake the dead and done! That minister of ministers, Imagination, gathers up The undiscovered Universe, Like jewels in a jasper cup. Its flame can mingle north and south; Its accent with the thunder strive; The ruddy sentence of its mouth Can make the ancient dead alive. The mart of power, the fount of will, The form and mould of every star, The source and bound of good and ill, The key of all the things that are, Imagination, new and strange In every age, can turn the year; Can shift the poles and lightly change The mood of men, the world's career. Angelina points out how this story made her think of Dante. Thomas and Cindy share their personal reactions to reading “The Machine Stops.” They marvel at how prescient Forster was to imagine a world that comes so close to our current reality. They also discuss how to stay human in an increasingly de-humanizing world. Walter de la Mare (from “Books”) from “The Hollow Men” by T. S. Eliot This is the dead land This is cactus land Here the stone images Are raised, here they receive The supplication of a dead man's hand Under the twinkle of a fading star.       Is it like this In death's other kingdom Waking alone At the hour when we are Trembling with tenderness Lips that would kiss Form prayers to broken stone. The eyes are not here There are no eyes here In this valley of dying stars In this hollow valley This broken jaw of our lost kingdoms       In this last of meeting places We grope together And avoid speech Gathered on this beach of the tumid river       Sightless, unless The eyes reappear As the perpetual star Multifoliate rose Of death's twilight kingdom The hope only Of empty men. Listen to The Literary Life: Commonplace Quotes: It is a mistake, perhaps, to think that, to do one thing well, we must just do and think about that and nothing else all the time. It is our business to know all we can and to spend a part of our lives in increasing our knowledge of Nature and Art, of Literature and Man, of the Past and the Present. That is one way in which we become greater persons, and the more a person is, the better he will do whatever piece of special work falls to his share. Let us have, like Leonardo, a spirit invariably royal and magnanimous. Charlotte Mason Earth's Eternity by John Clare Man, Earth's poor shadow! talks of Earth's decay: But hath it nothing of eternal kin? No majesty that shall not pass away? No soul of greatness springing up within? Thought marks without hoar shadows of sublime, Pictures of power, which if not doomed to win Eternity, stand laughing at old Time For ages: in the grand ancestral line Of things eternal, mounting to divine, I read Magnificence where ages pay Worship like conquered foes to the Apennine, Because they could not conquer. There sits Day Too high for Night to come at–mountains shine, Outpeering Time, too lofty for decay. Commonplace Quotes: All true poetry can be interpreted in manifold different ways, for it has arisen from life and it returns back to life. It hits us like sunshine no matter where we are standing. For that reason a moral precept or a relevant object lesson can be readily derived from these tales; it was never their purpose to instruct, nor were they made up for that reason, but a moral grows out of them, just as good fruit develops from healthy blossoms without help from man. Wilhelm Grimm A Dirge by Christina Rossetti Why were you born when the snow was falling?  You should have come to the cuckoo's calling,  Or when grapes are green in the cluster,  Or, at least, when lithe swallows muster  For their far off flying  From summer dying.  Why did you die when the lambs were cropping?  You should have died at the apples' dropping,  When the grasshopper comes to trouble,  And the wheat-fields are sodden stubble,  And all winds go sighing  For sweet things dying. Finding problems with churches is like a sport, people love it and it has a degree of utility. Blindly praising a church is also easy, but it has little value. Being honest about the good and the bad is much more difficult and infinitely more helpful. We have focused on the bad in a previous series, in this one we are balancing the discussion by looking for what was done well. Today we are looking at True Education and how a holistic model allows for more rounded human beings that can relate to others better, rather than a specialist approach.

In episode 30, we look at what true education is and the purpose.  We put a lot of focus on education, and we can see why if we are to play on this planet.  But at the same time, are we not limiting actual progress by using education the way it is? We have noticed that young people are more strongly rejecting education in the current form.  It seems very apparent that education has played the role for the most part of moulding people to a level of similarity, often referred to as taking a cookie-cutter approach.  Even though there is a requirement to have some baseline or foundation to work with globally, the main focus of education is to be in expanding one's skill set and offerings while keeping education expansive instead of restrictive. Proper education is to provide the most up-to-date, accurate information without agenda and flexibility while adapting to the person's interest and skill set.  Education used in proper form can provide significant progress and satisfaction.
