Ad astra Travelers! Welcome to another episode of Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast. This week, we set sail to Inazuma to discuss Guuji Yae Miko! After a quick check-in after last week's unfortunate schedule change, and a confirmation that our hosts were not killed by a certain Kitsune or Doctor, we discuss our initial thoughts on Yae Miko. From her cunning abilities to her sly tone, our hosts were in a trance and scared of her abilities and antics. Afterwards, we discuss her part in the Inazuma Archon Quest, Squid Games, and all, and do a brief overview of her story quest. Later, our hosts debate Yae's age, whether she can see the future, and if she's a hero or villain in the game. What do Yae's dreams taste like? What does she think of her puppet stepson Scaramouche? Will she ever let Gorou know about Ms. Hina? Ad Astra Travelers! Welcome to another episode of Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast. Last week, we discussed the only dead Fatui Harbinger (supposedly), La Signora! She's somewhere in the Sea of Quanta right now... This week, we'll be discussing the Barnes and Noble of Teyvat, the Yae Publishing House! After we realize it's owned by the same Yae that manages the Narukami Shrine, we discuss some of our favorite characters that are published there, like Albedo, Xingqiu and Gorou! There's a lot of secrets being hidden by Yae Miko and the people at Yae Publishing, and we try our best to dive into the true identity of Miss Hina, the murder of Little Nine, and the counterfeit painting ring being led by the Knights of Favonious! Was stimmt davon? Was ist völliger Quatsch? 2022 in Genshin is off to a prosperous start. Inazuma's Hot Pink Queen of Mean blesses us with her presence, the two new story quests were bangers, and Lantern Rite gave us more than we dared ask for. What's there to throw shade at? As always, plenty. Are new players screwed? What could be done to fix this? Is Beiguang real, or are shippers just crazy? Will the Churlmen of the Board ever figure out their technical issues, or just keep making new ones? This time, on The Shade Chamber. Thanks to @Chris Mayek for the interviews that inspired this ep's Culture Talk segment!
Ingresá a www.wellnessrevolution.com.ar

Today we talk about a bunch of things: The Oscars DRAMMMMAAA with Will Smith and Chris Rock, we tell you about the best show ever that you should all be watching, ummm... and Lizzo might be really mean?? THEN we play a game that is a complete FAIL and is too shocking to ver do again!!!

It's Thursday July 22, and here are your latest music news stories brought to you by the filter! Halsey vowed this week to stop doing press after being “deliberately disrespected” by Allure. The new mom blasted the magazine in tweets they later deleted. “First your writer made a focal point in my cover story my pronouns and you guys deliberately disrespected them by not using them in the article,” “I hate doing press because I get exploited and misquoted.” A final tweet read: “#NoMorePress goodbye.” Halsey was interviewed by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Danielle Pergament for the August issue of Allure. When someone like Halsey adopts “she/they” pronouns, it typically means they want to be referred to by both. Unless a person specifies they only want one pronoun used at a time, the best practice for writers is to mix the pronouns they use. Halsey's criticism came a week after Allure responded publicly to criticism from fans. In a tweet on July 14, it said: “We've heard your feedback and you're absolutely right: we messed up. We are adjusting our cover story with Halsey to use both ‘she' and ‘they' pronouns.” Halsey also said that Allure, in a tweet, “bastardized a quote where I discuss the privilege of being the white child of a black parent + intentionally used a portion that was the antithesis of the point I was trying to make.” The tweet, which Allure has since deleted, read: “Throughout her life, @halsey has struggled with her identity as a white-passing Black woman (her mother is white and her father is Black). ‘A lot of people try to write off a lot of my experiences because I present white.'” In the article, Halsey went on to say: “No matter how many tears I've shed because I'm not connecting with my family or my culture in a way that I would like too, or because the waitress thinks I'm the babysitter when I go out with my family, none of that would compare to the tears that I would shed for presenting phenotypically Black and the disadvantages and the violence that I would face because of that." https://www.iheartradio.ca/news/halsey-blasts-magazine-vows-to-stop-doing-press-1.15677828 Music manager Scott “Scooter” Braun has filed for divorce from his Canadian wife Yael Cohen after seven years. In a petition filed in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday, Braun seeks joint custody of their children Jagger, 6, Levi, 4, and Hart, 2. The couple had a prenuptial agreement and Braun has agreed to pay spousal support. Braun manages Canada's Justin Bieber as well as artists like Ariana Grande, J Balvin, The Kid LAROI and Demi Lovato. Braun and Cohen were married July 6, 2014 in Whistler, B.C. Braun, 40, marked their anniversary this year by posting a wedding pic on Instagram that he captioned: “If just for the kids you have given me everything. But thanks to you I have grown, I have been pushed to be the best version of myself and to continue growing and learning. That all happened because you came in to my life. 7 years. The adventure is just beginning. Thank you Yae. I love you. Happy anniversary.” Cohen, 34, commented with heart emojis and “A Team 4lyfe.” Braun's divorce filing shows "TBD" as the couple's date of separation. TMZ first reported on the split on July 10. https://www.iheartradio.ca/news/scooter-braun-files-for-divorce-from-canadian-wife-1.15677706 Thanks to John R. Kennedy for today's news stories. Julie, Yue, and Marni take a deep dive into all the online dating and relationship issues you want to know about. Key takeaways from this episode: Virtual dating tips Whether or not to go on a first date during quarantine How to go deeper during online conversations Love is Blind experiment results What to do if an ex starts texting again Dating During COVID-19 [6:14] Based on a poll posted on the Dateable Facebook group Julie says that a majority of the women who answered would meet a guy they met online during quarantine depending on the situation. The second highest majority of women said they would definitely not meet a guy face to face until the quarantine is lifted. Why meet face-to-face when such good things are coming out of video dating? Video dating allows us to put the physical on hold and go deep if we let it, says Julie. But the use is starting to fade in some groups because they don't know if they will ever get to meet the other person so it feels pointless to continue having virtual conversations. It’s important to remember that this is an opportunity to let something special build. If you are thinking about meeting a guy face-to-face during quarantine, consider how many first dates are actually a success. Use this time to go deeper online first. Marni recommends asking yourself ‘what’s the rush?’. What else are you doing? If you put your health at risk would you regret it more than just waiting to meet someone? If there is a connection now the connection will be there in a month. Virtual Dating Tips [20:11] Yae shares an example of how she customizes her dating experience on Zoom. She changes her virtual background to an exciting destination. She dresses like she is really visiting the exotic locale based on the weather forecast and asks her date to do the same. It’s a fun way to escape and charm your date. Julie says she has reconnected with an old beau and has experimented with virtual sex which has been beneficial to the relationship. She says a lot of people are throwing virtual sex parties right now. Video dating is a great way to have an adult conversation without fearing the sexual tension that goes along with physical closeness. Toxic people can also come back into your life because people get lonely during quarantine. If an ex starts texting again ask yourself these questions: What didn't work about the relationship the first time? How did we get to this point? How have I changed? How have they changed? Are our goals the same? What are the expectations of these new conversations? How am I feeling about it? Takeaways from the Blind Date Experiment [28:25] Julie and Yae started a blind date experiment before quarantine. There is one guy and three women. The guy had to speak with all three women three nights in a row and Julie and Yae gave him some conversation prompts designed to initiate deeper conversations. There was no baseline information such as age, race, height, etc. They wanted to see what connections could be made without the physical aspect. The guy had to pick one woman to meet in person and it wasn’t who the ladies of Dateable didn’t think it would be. A lot of people make their decision about someone just after one date, but with this experiment, the participants knew they had a minimum of three dates so they invested more time in getting to know one another. Julie's takeaway from the Love is Blind experiment is that there is something nice about just having audio, no visual because it causes you to deeply listen to the other person and to be present with them. The problem with online dating though is that people think they have enough information to judge someone. Superficial presets on dating apps are all surface level. We don't know if the other person is funny, caring, honest, etc. It causes people to pay more attention to the physical but the Love is Blind experiment allows daters to get past all that. Today we have five of the six founding members of YAE spelled, “Y A E” Young Adult Episcopalians, in the South Central Region. The group launched in fall 2017 and has held several events for young adults in the New Haven area and larger South Central Region. The Rev. Elise Hanley is the Assistant Rector at Trinity Church on the Green in New Havenand an Assisting Priest at the Episcopal Church at Yale. She has been ordained for two years, and is originally from New York. The Rev. Paul Carling is the Chaplain for the Episcopal Church at Yale,a position he has held for five years. Before Yale he served in a variety of parishes in Vermont and Connecticut and was a professor of Psychology for many years. Mary Beth Mills-Curran is a candidate for ordination with the diocese of Massachusetts and is in her third year at Yale Divinity School and Berkeley Divinity School. She serves as the program director for the Episcopal Church at Yale. The Rev. Rachel Field, a returning guest on our podcast, is the Region Missionary for the South Central Regionof ECCT. She has held this role for just over a year and a half, and is a key supporter of this collaborative ministry between various parishes and ministries in New Haven. Alli Huggins, serves not only as our co-host for Coffee Hour at The Commons, but also the Digital Communications Associate for the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. The sixth member, who could not make it, is the Rev. Keri Aubert the priest-in-charge at St. Thomas Church in New Haven. We met in the library and office of the Episcopal Church at Yale, and Alli wore headphones, so she sounds all subdued, slow, and smooth compared to the rest of us. Actually we’re getting new equipment soon, which will include headphones for everyone, so she’s practicing. We began with how YAE began; the Episcopal Church at Yale was the spark behind it. Young adults at Yale (or Yale/Berkeley) have opportunities for formation and fellowship, but there wasn’t much for young adults in congregations. Mary Beth said she was part of a similar model in the Diocese of New York They started in New Haven and have opened it up to other churches in the South Central reason; it claims an Episcopal identity but doesn’t want to be exclusive. It leans toward engagement beyond the divinity school but everyone is welcome. “Young adult” is considered 21-35. ECY received a grant for their ministry to fund events, identifying young adults as a “mission field.” The grant supports food for fellowship events. There’s no agenda for the future; the call has been to be present in the community; to gather and talk about what it means to be a Christian now, so people 21-35 can ask questions, or know they’re not alone. Bruch is like the main thing that church conflicts with, said Mary Beth, adding that it’s an encapsulation of how a life of faith is in some ways swimming against the stream of what our culture calls us, encourages us, to do. The church calls us to be a different type of community, she said, then asked: What does that mean for my friends, and how I experience my life socially? Being a Christian and going to church will disrupt the pattern; ministries built on the “skeleton” of building fellowship first and foremost are the most important and allow the Christian life to be sustainable; not to be lonely, she said, and others agreed. YAE can show people how to do that, to make space for young adults to have full lives in the church. The group talked about a few of the events they’ve had so far; they try for one event a month. We closed by hearing each of them share how this has impacted their own personal spiritual life, and their insightful reflections on its importance and implications.

Today’s episode is going to be a different from my usual long-form interview with an African entrepreneur. Today is a special “best of” episode where I’m going to highlight the top ten tips, advice, hacks for cultivating an entrepreneur mindset. Since the podcast launched, I’ve interviewed a dozen amazing entrepreneurs with thriving businesses in Africa. They’ve candidly shared advice, tips, and insights into how they persevere in the face of challenges. What’s remarkable is that all of these entrepreneurs share a common mindset that has been critical to their success. As renowned entrepreneur Tony Robbins said, success as an entrepreneur is 20% skills and 80% psychology, or mindset. You have to develop the right psychology to handle the emotional rollercoaster of being an African entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur anywhere is tough, but I’d argue that being an entrepreneur in Africa is even more difficult. When I looked through my notes from past episodes, it was incredible to see the similarities of these entrepreneurs. Whatever the subject was – whether it be networking, finding an idea for your business, or dealing with inevitable failure – these entrepreneurs had similar opinions and approaches. I thought it would be helpful to pick the top ten tips on cultivating an entrepreneur mindset from our past guests. I’m constantly pushing myself to experiment with the podcast because I want to make the best content for you, the YAE listener. Since I’m exploring with a new format, I’d love to get your feedback. Send me an email at victoria@yaepodcast.com or reach out on Twitter, @tori_crandall. Without further ado, here are the Top 10 Tips on Cultivating an Entrepreneur Mindset

This episode is a slight departure from my normal YAE interview show. Episode 010 feels like a mini milestone. Young African Entrepreneur has been live for six weeks, but I’ve been preparing this show for six months! And, I thought it would be interesting to share some reflections on my podcasting journey, especially the difficulties of creating an Africa-focused podcast for an African audience. Podcasting is an exciting medium that has taken off in the US and Europe. But, Africans are new to the world of podcasting, which poses its own special challenges to marketing and distribution.
