This one sits comfortably in familiar territory. It's exactly the kind of action movie you expect here—solid fights, Jason's stoic lead, and a by-the-numbers story. The biggest surprise is the young girl, who brings real emotional weight and plays well off the main character's no-nonsense vibe. The downside? It's very familiar. If you've seen similar recent Stathom action outings, you've basically seen this already. The opening drags longer than it needs to, and once it gets going, nothing really surprises. Bottom line: it's not bad, just repetitive. It doesn't get as much attention because it was a sequel. But it had a bigger budget, bigger explosions, a bigger body count, and it made a lot more money. We talk about Die Hard all the time, but this year we're going back to 1990 and watch the Christmas sequel. This time, John McLean gets stuck at an airport waiting for his wife to land, and it gets taken over by mercenaries who start doing all sorts of terrorist-y things.
