The LMGTE victors were Christian Ried, Lorenzo Ferrari and Gianmaria Bruni in the no77 Proton Competition Porsche, with the team scoring their second win in a row. Bruni took the chequered flag 14.3 seconds ahead of David Perel in the no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488. The South African put up a spirited defence of the lead handed to him by Duncan Cameron but couldn't hold off the rapid Italian. The no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari finished third, with Miguel Molina crossing the line 24 seconds behind the no55 Ferrari at the end of the 4 Hours of Barcelona.

Our guest on this episode of the Improv Comedy Connection is David Escobedo. David has been coaching and performing improv since 1994. In fact, he coached his first improv team, as there weren't any improv schools around! Later he took classes at iOwest, Second City and other improv schools around Los Angeles. He is quick to acknowledge the impact of his improv teachers during this time, including Jay Sukow (Jay was part of the COVID-19 Improv Summit and was interviewed as part of Season 4), Paul Vaillancourt (Paul was interviewed in Season 1), Liz Allen, Steve Green, Duncan Cameron, Vanessa Anton, and more that he would view as particularly inspirational. One of the philosophies he firmly believes in is that the improv ecosystem is much more flat than we're led to believe. He rejects the notion that there is a dynamic hierarchy of "good improvisers" or teachers, and firmly wants to see people and institutions being put on pedestals. His goal as a teacher is to make you a peer, not a constant student (cash cow). That way there are more people to do good improv with! David is pursuing his PhD in Chester, UK. Members of the Aces played in Fatback, a local band in Knoxville, Tennessee, in the late 1960s and early 1970s, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Russell Smith, bassist Jeff "Stick" Davis, drummer Butch McDade (born David Hugh McDade in Clarksdale, Missouri; February 24, 1946 – November 29, 1998),[1] and Fatback's first lead guitarist Mike Brooks and later Dan Kennedy. The band left Knoxville in the early 1970s.In 1972, the Aces came together in Memphis, Tennessee, at the recommendation of Barry "Byrd" Burton (born in Greene County, Tennessee; September 7, 1946 – March 10, 2008),[2] who was engineering and producing at the famous Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis. Davis and McDade, who had recorded and toured with singer-songwriter Jesse Winchester as "The Rhythm Aces",[3] recruited Smith, keyboardist Billy Earheart III, lead guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Burton and pianist James Hooker to develop a sound mixing of pop, country and blue-eyed soul.Stacked Deck, their debut album, released in 1975, resulted in two crossover (rock and country) hits, "Third Rate Romance" and "Amazing Grace (Used to Be Her Favorite Song)," the group's lone Top 10 country single. In 1976, "The End Is Not in Sight (The Cowboy Tune)," from the album Too Stuffed to Jump, won a Grammy for Country Vocal Performance by a Group. "Third Rate Romance" reached No. 1 on the Canadian pop/rock charts. Wayne MacPhail attends a Hamilton vigil for Teenage Head's Frankie Venom. Frankie Venom died October 16. He was 52.  Part of the panel discussion from Rabble.ca's relaunch party. Speakers include Duncan Cameron, Maude Barlow, Jessica Yee, Murray Dobbin, and Anne Lagace Dowson. Studs Terkel, speaking at Chicago University in 2005. Terkel died October 31, 2008. He was 96.
