Csolkovits began working for Sam at the House of Holland Jewelers in the diamond business. In 1980, Sam established a private grant meant to be a part of his legacy due to his lifelong fight with diabetes. Due to this grant in 1980, Sam and E. A. Csolkovits began to formulate heart healthy and Wellness nutritional foods and drinks. Over the next 45+ years, E. A. Csolkovits was blessed with numerous business and personal achievements, including starting and operating Delta International, which included building an international workforce organization of over 33,000, producing multimillions of dollars in volume and becoming a millionaire at age 23.

We don't have any money". He can't believe it. And he says, what do you mean? We have all these? And that causes him to call the brothers and they have this drama scene. I want more percentage, I need more percentage, etc. And he signs on the phone, that isn't how the event happened, but the event itself  did happen. So she told me Ray didn't have any money. He was out of money. There was no money in the till. There was no money in the company. So we made an agreement that I would keep working for him for no pay. And he would pay me in worthless worth less than zero company stock. And he would take the bill collectors and the bill collectors were calling me personally for money. He would take the phone calls. So I just asked her, I said, June, why did you do it? I said, I'm 16 years old and I'm a janitor. I work paycheck to paycheck. If I don't get my check on Friday, I'm not showing on Saturday. I need my check. Why did you work for nothing? I would never do that. And right then Wendy, she stared at me with this blank look on her face, eyeball to eyeball, and I realised she just left the room even though she's staring at me. And here I am, I'm 16 years old and I'm talking to June Martino, the icon. Everyone knew who she was in the area when I met her. As she's staring at me, I'm going because it seemed like 30 minutes was like maybe 15 seconds. But I realised I just asked her a question no one ever asked her before. Everyone wanted to know what happened, but no one wanted to know why. And I just asked her, why did you do it? And when she spoke it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, I still remember what she said, the way she said it. And my first thought right after she made the statement... Today, I interview E.A. Csolkovits who when he was very young, helped his father with deliveries as a milkman. As they made their rounds, he would observe all different types and classes of people, and he was drawn to those who appeared to be happy and successful, "living the dream".  Even as a very young child, E.A. felt a deep, instinctive pull to figure out how these people lived lives of such happiness and abundance.At 16, he began working as a janitor, cleaning homes. He eventually mustered the courage to ask a very wealthy, famous woman whom he most admired, how she found her way to success and good standing in life. And as it turns out, this woman credited her success with having a mentor in life. E.A. began to understand what mentorship was and coincidentally ended up with a mentor of his own right away. His mentor was able to look at the scope of E.A.'s life objectively, giving him the big picture and offering lots of meaningful guidance and encouragement. He eventually made his way through school and into business, when his business mentor taught him to choose happiness now, not to wait for things to become easy or perfect or less stressful. A lot of people believe we have to look over our shoulders to make sure no one takes our ideas. We see this when running our own businesses and when trying to climb the corporate ladder. For someone so successful on paper, EA Csolkovits is an incredibly humble human being, who ascribes most of his success to his mentors being generous with their knowledge in the beginning. He is a wonderful storyteller and shares with us how he realised early that he “wanted more from life” and did not know how to get it. Through paying attention to the advice he was given as a teenager, he had made his first million by the time he was 23, and has made giving back – financially, to his community – a key part of his success. He has a unique perspective on what success is and how you can become both spiritually and materially successful. “I find using a third party sometimes it's a great way to say and then maybe open their minds.” In Season 3, Episode 1 of the Boss Uncaged Podcast, S.A. Grant sits down with the Founder of GIVERS University, EA Csolkovits.

There can only be room for one winner. Success means first place on the podium, and second or third are simply consolation prizes for the best of the losers. This zero sum notion that in order for someone to win, someone else most lose is a cultural cornerstone of western society. It is hammered home in school sports lessons, in contests such as spelling bees, debating societies, and even in performance tier groups in school. But what's worse is that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Losers get chosen last, and sent to the bottom where they get no special attention, whereas winners get more and more support and before long they're miles ahead of the pack, and there's no way for anyone to catch up. But what if it didn't have to be this way? Motivational speaker Jim Rohn famously stated that “you are the average of the five people you surround yourself with.” And with this podcast I've be surrounding myself with amazing, inspiring, wise and wonderful people who all have a take on how to live life, make it work, and turn struggles into successes. Today I'm speaking with EA Csolkovits, who wants to turn the idea of winning on it's head by literally gamifying success. If we were to surround ourselves with people who each committed to raising the others up, like a mastermind group of individuals competing to see who could bring the most success to the others, then surely there could be no losers. We teach people to separate the person who we love from their deeds, which we may not love and we teach them to discern, to be specific, so when we say giver, we're not labelling a person, we're labelling their deeds. We want to discern and listen to the right people. ask the right question to the wrong person, you get the wrong answer.  Ask the wrong question to the right person, you get the wrong answer.
