Ein Schuss, ein Tor für Aue.“ So wird es beim Sachsenpokal-Halbfinale in Chemnitz hoffentlich lautstark aus dem Gästeblock schallen. In einer Saisonphase der Resignation ist dies der letzte Strohhalm, an den wir uns klammern, und wir hoffen, dass somit zumindest ein kleines Blitzlicht in der Abstiegssaison 2025/26 gesetzt wird. Der Pessimist entgegnet uns, dass damit nur vorerst der schlimmste Schaden abgewendet wird. Wir sind uns einig: Das Spiel am Mittwoch wird mindestens ein richtungsweisendes, vielleicht sogar ein schicksalhaftes Spiel. Außerdem werfen wir einen Blick in die Glaskugel und sprechen darüber, welche Spieler der aktuellen Mannschaft wir in der kommenden Saison noch für den FCE auflaufen sehen wollen. 80 Jahre Wismut Aue – eine Jubiläumswoche, die sportlich wie emotional unter besonderen Vorzeichen stand. Für den FCE bedeutete sie nicht nur Feierstimmung, sondern auch eine englische Woche mit zwei Heimspielen und einem Auswärtsspiel. Mannschaft und Fans sahen darin die vielleicht letzte Chance, im Abstiegskampf noch einmal ein echtes Lebenszeichen zu senden. Doch auch nach diesen drei Ligapartien bleibt unser Verein im Jahr 2026 sieglos. Slapstick-Tore, ein im Nebel versinkendes Stadion in München-Giesing und der überragende Aachener Gindorf prägten eine Woche, die Hoffnung trug – und am Ende doch wieder schwer auf dem Gemüt lag. Trotz aller Ernüchterung bleibt ein kleiner Funken Hoffnung. 80 Jahre Wismut Aue erinnern daran, wie oft dieser Verein schon gestürzt ist – und wieder aufgestanden. Frei nach dem Fangesang „Bist du am Boden ja dann stehen wir für dich ein“ hoffen wir, dass der FCE aus dieser schweren Phase neue Stärke ziehen kann. Hört rein!
