Big Brother Recaps & Live Feed Updates from Rob Has a Podcast

BB28 Roundtable Week 2 Also available on YouTube Each Monday night, Taran Armstrong (@ArmstrongTaran) and Melissa Deni (@itsmelissaaa) will be joined by a rotating guest to discuss the past week in Big Brother 28. After running down all of the latest advancements, they'll rate and rank the houseguests to update the weekly Stockwatch. Big Brother 28 sees the house in chaos as alliances shift and targets move with every late-night conversation. Taran Armstrong and Melissa Deni are joined by Pooya for a strategy-packed recap of the latest feeds and the houseguest Stockwatch. This week, the show dives into the aftermath of Ashley’s eviction under Dee’s HoH, followed by Devens’ reign as the new Head of Household. The failed flip to save Ashley leaves the vets seeming dominant, but Devens’ decision to backdoor Rome stirs the game. After using the Veto on Lyric instead of Melody, Devens follows through with a risky plan, believing in deals with Lyric and Rome despite obvious signs it’s a ploy. Meanwhile, social fallout spreads: new factions shift, paranoia grows, and the lines between the dominant alliance and the outsiders blur. The cast questions whether the vets really have full control, especially as new twists like the time capsule shake things up. Melissa questions why the vets exposed their alliance so openly and didn’t smooth things over with Rome after locking him out of the HOH room. Taran points out how Devens’ Veto choice both weakens his position and gives Lyric and Rome the opening they need, analyzing the risk if Rome survives the Blockbuster. Discussion on Drew’s “messenger” problem: his alliance distrusts him even though he shares helpful intel, which could sink his game. Both hosts examine the social power shift between Melody (analytical but isolated) and Lyric (socially connected, just saved from eviction), debating who actually has the better position in the house. The group reviews live feed highlights, including unpredictable late-night moves and the audience’s Stockwatch ratings, and who fans are rooting for to leave next. As cracks form in the strongest alliance and the house debates between targeting Rome, Jason, or Melody, alliances are anything but stable. Did Devens’ veto move set his group up for long-term trouble, or can the vets regain their grip on the game? Listen in for the full inside scoop and analysis. 00:00 Welcoming Big Brother 28 Fans 06:14 Vets' Alliance Exposed in House 12:09 Paranoia Shakes Big Brother Vets 17:18 Drew Distrusted by Own Alliance 27:22 Melody vs Lyric: Game Comparison 34:54 Audience Ranks Episodes and Feeds 43:35 Devens' Big Brother HOH Decisions 54:14 Drew Becomes Fan Favorite Player 01:04:13 Players' Stock Watch Ratings Start 01:18:41 Dee Valladares' Strong Big Brother Position 01:29:10 Power Shifts: Lowered Player Ratings 01:47:55 Lyric Medeiros' Block Escape Never miss a minute of RHAP's extensive Big Brother coverage! July 20, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 165 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get things started by first going over the recent news of former Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell being arrested for his alleged failure to pay child support. After quickly discussing the Bell recent news, Alex and I look back at Bell's NFL career and go over the big 'what ifs' related to him had he remained in Pittsburgh several more seasons. We discuss whether Bell will ever be voted into the Steelers' Hall of Honor and where he might currently rank on Pittsburgh's all-time rushing list had he played several more seasons for the team. With the Steelers' 2026 training camp set to get underway in just a little more than one week, Alex and I go over what it might look like this summer with new HC Mike McCarthy. Alex recently interviewed several people who covered McCarthy during his time with Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys to get their feedback on past training camps the head coach conducted over the years and we go over his findings. After thoroughly discussing the latest topical subjects and news concerning the Steelers, in addition to previewing McCarthys first training camp in Latrobe, the two of us talk in-depth about six more players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series. The six players we discuss are: QB Mason Rudolph, CB Asante Samuel Jr., S Darnell Savage, OLB Jack Sawyer, WR Ben Skowronek, and CB Doneiko Slaughter. We give the summer outlook for each player and the chances a few of them have at sticking in Pittsburgh once the preseason ends. This 91-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we end this podcast by answering a few questions we received via email from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. https://teachhoops.com/ TeachHoops Podcast Show NotesEpisode Title Soccer Fans Waited 106 Minutes for One Goal. You Can't Handle a 45 Second Possession? Spain just won the World Cup 1-0 with the only goal coming in the 106th minute, and over a billion people called it a masterpiece. Meanwhile, if a high school team holds the ball for 45 seconds, the gym loses its mind and the shot clock debate explodes all over again. In this episode, Coach Collins uses the biggest sporting event on the planet to take a hard, honest look at the shot clock argument: what the critics get wrong, what they get right, why tempo control is a strategy and not a crime, and how to actually coach late clock situations whether your state has a clock or not. If you coach at a school that doesn't reload with talent every year, this one is for you. The World Cup final was two hours of patience, tension, and one moment of quality. Nobody demanded soccer speed up. Basketball gets no such grace. Coach breaks down why the stall is strategy, why the shot clock rewards rosters more than coaching, why the clock is coming anyway, and the specific skills coaches need to teach to win with one. 00:00 | Cold Open: The Most Watched 1-0 Game in History Spain 1, Argentina 0. Scoreless through 90 minutes. Ferran Torres finally scores in the 106th minute of extra time. Argentina finishes the World Cup final with zero shots on goal. And the world called it beautiful. Set the hook: why does soccer get celebrated for patience while basketball gets crucified for it? 05:30 | The Double Standard Scarcity creates drama. Tension creates drama. Soccer fans understand that every scoring chance matters BECAUSE scoring is rare. Basketball somewhere decided more shots equals better basketball. Push back on that. More shots just equals more shots. 11:00 | What the Stall Actually Is (A Coach's Defense of Tempo) Personal stories from 30 years at Memorial. Times I held the ball. Times it was held on me. Why slowing the game down is the great equalizer for the shorter team, the undermanned team, the school without the AAU pipeline. Strategy, not cowardice. 19:00 | The Uncomfortable Truth About Who the Shot Clock Helps The clock does not reward good coaching. It rewards good rosters. Walk through it honestly: force a shot every 35 seconds and the more talented team wins more often, period. If you coach at a have-not program, the clock takes a weapon out of your hands. 26:00 | The Other Side of the Argument (Being Fair About It) Steelman the pro clock case. Players want to play the way they watch. Every level above high school uses one. Recruiting and player development arguments. End of game farming and intentional fouling ugliness that the clock genuinely cleans up. Acknowledge what's real here. 33:00 | The Clock Is Coming. Now What? The debate is basically over in most states, so stop fighting yesterday's war. The coaches who win with a shot clock are the ones who start TEACHING it. Late clock offense sets. Time and score situations as a daily drill, not a February surprise. Defending the last 8 seconds of the clock. Turning the clock into YOUR weapon. 41:00 | Practice Ideas This Week Three specific things to install: a 10 seconds left "get a good one" action, a scripted possession value drill where turnovers cost double, and a defensive late clock scramble drill. Keep it concrete so coaches leave with homework. 47:00 | The Real Lesson From Sunday The final wasn't great because of shot volume. It was great because two teams executed under pressure for two hours and one moment of quality decided it. That's the standard with or without a clock: value the ball, treat every possession like currency, patience is a weapon and panic is a choice. 50:00 | Wrap Up and CTA "Spain didn't score for 105 minutes and won the whole thing. Your team can survive a 58 second possession." "The shot clock doesn't reward good coaching. It rewards good rosters." "Scarcity creates drama. When scoring is hard, every possession means something." "The coaches who win with a shot clock are the ones who stop complaining about it and start teaching it." Tempo control is strategy, and it's the underdog's best weapon. The shot clock helps talented rosters more than it helps good coaches. The pro clock arguments are real too: player development, cleaner endings, alignment with every higher level. The debate is ending, so shift your energy from arguing to installing late clock offense and defense. Every possession is currency. Teach it that way in practice, every day. TeachHoops Podcast Show NotesEpisode Title Soccer Fans Waited 106 Minutes for One Goal. Does your state have a shot clock, and has it actually changed how you coach late game situations? Drop your state and your honest answer. Host Taran Armstrong welcomes Mary Kwiatkowski for a live feed recap, breaking down Day 12’s game-changing Veto competition, shifting votes, and sneaky house dynamics. Devens wins both HoH and Veto this week, setting the stage for an early backdoor target: Rome. The plan depends on the Veto draw, but with Rome not selected to play, the door is wide open for a dramatic renaming, with Angela and Barrett playing instead. Social gameplay gets messy as Lyric and Rome pretend to break up and Lyric flirts with others to stay. Meanwhile, Melody gives herself a pep talk—though it doesn’t translate into a Veto win. The house debates who to pull off the block, with players like Kamu pitching Melody as a better strategic save than Lyric, while Angela and Dee push for Lyric instead. Plots and loyalties swirl as even alliances like the Toolshed and Handymen get layered with inside jokes, hidden agendas, and shifting allegiances. Mary points out the strategic benefit of backdooring early, when there are more potential Veto players to insulate the plan. A misstep in the Veto comp costs Jason a win, letting Devens secure both HoH and Veto and raising his threat level. Players debate saving Lyric or Melody from the block, with Lyric’s social maneuvers swiftly winning over Dee, Chuk, and Haley—a move Mary questions for its long-term logic. Melody impresses Kamu by subtly confirming that the Lyric-Rome breakup is fake and offering strategic partnership, shifting some votes to her side. Angela, Dee, and Devens consider the risk of strengthening showmances or weakening Drew by leaving Melody on the block. As alliances wobble and competing agendas collide, the house must decide: does taking Lyric or Melody off the block make the most sense for the majority?
