In this launch of Season 5 of the Devotional Doctors podcast, Bryan and JD discuss the idea of wearing masks - though not the paper and fabric masks of the past year. Outside the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, all people tend to put on masking behaviors, making a presentation how we wish to be perceived. The masks of hypocrisy are connected to our self-perception, our defined identity, and motivations of fitting in. But when we are able to find our most authentic identity in Jesus Christ, we are able to be vulnerably unmasked, beholding the face of God. So listen in to find how we can all benefit by taking off our hypocritical masks! For more about us, visit www.devotionaldoctors.com or www.facebook.com/devotionaldoctors. Stacy Simmonds had a long career in retail, branding, and sales, all the while with a lifelong dream of opening her own store. Before settling in Serenbe, Stacy, and her husband, Jason, lived in cities all over the country. She didn't know it at the time, but everywhere she lived she was acquiring the inspiration for what is now Hamlin, her modern lifestyle store in the Selborne neighborhood. The relaxing in-store atmosphere, the curated "necesary(ish)" products, and the amazing experiences she creates, including an Adult Big Wheel Race, are all about "making adults feel like kids again."Biophilic Solutions Promo

80% of women don’t know what their bra size is. Most of us also do not know what cup shape best suits us, or where to even begin browsing when entering a lingerie store. Pair all of that with the unrealistic standards of beauty set by the media and brands (we see you Victoria Secret Angels), underwear can be a source of anxiety or shame. So in this episode, we lay it all bare, and talk about our bras and thongs. Rhea shares how going shopping for new underwear has helped in her journey to loving her body, while Marilyn shares her views on customer centric lingerie brands and the evolution of underwear through the ages. We’d love to hear your stories about your underwear.
