Have you taken advantage of the revolutionary iOS 14 Playbook to drive explosive growth for your business? In today's digital world, the role of emerging technologies in the digital marketing landscape cannot be overstated. In episode 197 today, we are privileged to host Kyle Hoffman to successfully discuss navigating the post-iOS 14 world. Kyle's marketing career background: He has been in the marketing space for quite some time now, having started at a performance agency before transitioning to paid media and as a fractional CMO for a number of brands. As a fractional CMO, he helped companies make sound marketing decisions and drive strategy. He ensures strategy alignment with the company's vision through the cooperation of the marketing and sales departments. How he helped Wello Sock Brand to succeed: In October 2021, they launched Wello officially as a product-based brand after splitting from the mother company. Wello seized the opportunity of the existing gap in the compression socks market. Previously, customers were medically prescribed to wear compression socks neither found them fun, comfortable, or colorful. Consequently, Kyle came in to build the brand from the ground up and achieve function growth. With over 100,000 customers at present, Kyle projects that Wello is on track to sell over 1 million pairs of socks in 2023. Marketing changes in the post-iOS 14 playbook: Our guest expert today reckons that the marketing landscape experienced major shifts following the launch of iOS 14. He says that iOS 14 placed the burden on the creative, shifting from technical media buying to technical, creative development. As such, companies had to be highly purposeful and creative with development and testing the creative. He explains the testing method for a campaign to figure out what is working. Kyle says they tag a given element of creativity, especially mashed-up user-generated content, with the label. They integrate various modular assets that form a rich database that is tested to determine what is working and what areas need improvement. He attributes 80% of their content to style user-generated content because of the large network of content creators. STUDY: COVID-19 CAN SURVIVE ON BANK NOTES, PHONE SCREENS FOR 28 DAYSInfectious Disease Specialist // Spent 20 years with the CDC crafting policy for infection prevention // heads up the medical advisory board for Wello, a company that has created a technology for disease control and contagion management using automated, wireless monitoring sensors and cloud-based technology DR. MURRAY COHENThe virus that causes COVID-19 can survive far longer than previously thought - remaining infectious on surfaces such as bank notes, glass, phone screens and stainless steel for 28 days, according to a new study. By comparison, the flu virus has been shown to survive on surfaces for 17 days. Researchers at Australia's science agency CSIRO conducted the experiments on the SARS-COV-2 virus at 68 degrees - room temperature - and in the dark to remove the effect of ultraviolet light, as studies have shown that sunlight can kill the bug, Reuters reported. "So in the real world results would likely be shorter than what we were able to show," Shane Riddell, the lead researcher in the study published Monday in the Virology Journal, told the news agency. "It really reinforces the importance of washing hands and sanitizing where possible and certainly wiping down surfaces that may be in contact with the virus," Riddell said about the research.Should you avoid using cash?

Necklace "The Blue Nile Falls" We are firmly convinced that an astounding piece of jewelry, much like a great painting, should be unique. One of a kind. Created through the artist's inspiration. This is the kind of lot we're presenting today. «The Blue Nile Falls» necklace from Ornella Iannuzzi's collection «Les Précieuses Corallines» “It was inspired by my journey to Ethiopia in 2010 to source to rough opals. I visited the Blue Nile water falls and got captivated by the magnificence of the place so I make this unique pendant since each piece of this collection illustrates a place that I visited or something which strikes me about Ethiopia and Ethiopian culture. The Nile source is in Ethiopia and it ends up in Egypt. In Ethiopia it is called the Blue Nile and then it becomes the white Nile. History and legends talk for themselves regarding the magic of this river. Opal is said to be the queen of gems which brings luck to anyone with a pure heart, and Ethiopian opals hold the wisdom of the Queen of Sheba (yes, the one who brought gifts to King Solomon – author's note)” Opal alone may bring you luck, but we think that this necklace would grant the winner something much greater. «The Blue Nile Falls» Necklace Made with a 20 cts hand-carved Wello opal set in 18k gold with a brilliant cut diamond, and mounted on rough diamonds (42cts). Size: 44 x 24 x 12 mm Created by Ornella Iannuzzi https://auction.fatcats.market/lot/pendant_the_blue_nile_falls

Rik Heller is a serial entrepreneur and founder of Wello. A self-confessed technology and healthcare geek, Rik has also been called the Grandfather of Active RFID and holds many patents in this area that are licensed globally. With a background in math and electrical engineering, he has been working in healthcare since 1989. In 1999 Rik Heller founded FreshLoc and became a pioneer of environmental monitoring for compliance and reporting in the healthcare industry. FreshLoc is a remote temperature monitoring technology for hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare entities to help comply with temperature related safety regulations. More recently, Rik has pursued interests in infection prevention and control, founding Wello. There he has developed, among other high-tech digital solutions, a hands-free, self-service fever screening, identification and notification platform that is focused on controlling entry of potentially contagious persons to very high-risk patient areas. Rik calls this a “barrier technology” and believes that in the battle against Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) it's critical that we “separate the match from the fuse”. This episode originally aired on The #HCBiz Show! on April 12th, 2017. We cover a lot of ground on this episode, including: How infections spread Why it's only partly a healthcare solution that we need to seek The role of humidity in mitigating or amplifying a contagion Why we must dispel the myth that asymptomatic people are the problem How 10% of the sick are “super-spreaders” and how we can identify them Why you should stay home when you're sick and why your employer should make you Where the CDC gets it wrong Why good hair days are bad health days

Rik calls this a "barrier technology" and believes that in the battle against Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) it's critical that we "separate the match from the fuse". Episode 003 (part 2 of our IPAC series): We cover a lot of ground on this episode, including: How infections spread Why it's only partly a healthcare solution that we need to seek The role of humidity in mitigating or amplifying a contagion Why we must dispell the myth that asymptomatic people are the problem How 10% of the sick are "super-spreaders" and how we can identify them Why you should stay home when you're sick and why your employer should make you Where the CDC gets it wrong Why good hair days are bad health days Subscribe on iTunes You can learn more about Rik here: LinkecIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rikheller/ Twitter: @rikheller Wello: https://welloinc.com/ Wello on Twitter: @Wello_Inc This episode is part of The #HCBiz Show's Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) series.
