El Audi e-tron GT es un vehículo eléctrico de cinco plazas y casi cinco metros de longitud, con un diseño elegante que recuerda a un cupé, aunque tiene cuatro puertas laterales. Existen dos versiones: el e-tron GT 60 con 530 CV (desde 110.290 euros) y el más potente RS e-tron GT con 646 CV (151.830 euros). Compite con modelos como el Porsche Taycan, con el que comparte plataforma, y el Tesla Model S. El RS e-tron GT tiene una edición especial llamada Ice Race Edition, inspirada en la carrera GP Ice Race de Austria, limitada a 99 unidades. Esta versión destaca por su diseño único en color plata Florett con detalles en blanco y violeta, tanto en el exterior como en el interior. Una de las mayores virtudes del e-tron GT es su combinación de velocidad y confort. Conducirlo de manera tranquila lo convierte en un coche ideal para viajes largos, gracias a su marcha suave y silenciosa, especialmente si se añade la opción de cristales acústicos. Sin embargo, su autonomía, que en condiciones reales ronda los 350 km, es uno de sus puntos débiles, ya que puede ser limitada para viajes largos en países con infraestructuras de carga aún en desarrollo, como España. El modelo RS es más emocionante y deportivo, con una puesta a punto más refinada gracias a elementos como la suspensión neumática, dirección en las cuatro ruedas y diferencial trasero autoblocante electrónico, que lo hacen más divertido de conducir que la versión estándar. Sin embargo, el Porsche Taycan ofrece una experiencia de conducción más intensa y emocional, lo que puede justificar su mayor precio frente al Audi. Whereas if you sit in the back of the EV9, there's a lot of room and the top of the range EV9 has heated and cooled seats in the front AND second row of seats. The EV9 is well suited for the executive trip to the airport. In the upper large sedans and it's over $100,000 category, the Porsche Panamera is #1, but don't get too excited about it so far this year (the first quarter of 2024) they've sold 12. Electric cars are coming. Or more accurately, they're here. Audi's e-tron crossover helped push the company's EV efforts, but the stylish e-tron GT turns the Audi EV portfolio into something you'd be excited to see at your local Cars and Coffee. The Audi e-tron GT comes standard with a pair of electric motors that drive the front and rear axle. These permanent magnet motors supply 496 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque to the wheels, which help this EV sedan sprint to 60 from a dead stop in 3.9 seconds. Those figures increase in RS trim to 590 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque, which shrinks the 60 mph time to 3.1 seconds. Powering the e-tron GT's motors is a 93 kWh battery pack that can feed these motors for 238 EPA-estimated miles. It looks great, has terrific range, excellent fast charging speed and looks, well, like an Audi. It's based on the same architecture as Porsche's Taycan and shares some of its goodness. NEW 2022 GENESIS GV60 CONFIRMED FOR LAUNCH IN EUROPE THIS YEAR | AUTO EXPRESS - Genesis, the Hyundai Group's premium spin-off brand, has announced that its pure-electric GV60 coupe-SUV will go on sale in Europe later this year. - Key rivals include the Audi Q4 e-tron, Tesla Model Y and Jaguar I-Pace. - The Genesis GV60 is built on the same E-GMP underpinnings as the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. It's powered by a 77.4kWh battery pack, which offers a maximum range of 280 miles with the entry-level, single-motor, rear-wheel drive model. - Prices for all three models in the SUV's line-up will be confirmed closer to the car's European launch date. - At the top of the GV60 line-up, there's an even faster Sport Plus variant. It shares the same dual-motor powertrain as the Kia EV6 GT, which means it produces 429bhp and 605Nm of torque. Genesis says this model will sprint from 0–62mph in four seconds flat - Boost Mode. It's activated by a button on the steering wheel, and gives the EV an extra 54bhp and 95Nm of torque to improve overtaking performance. - Drift Mode, which sounds a little out of place on an electric SUV. Genesis hasn't gone into too much detail about how the system works, but we know it alters the torque split of the all-wheel drive system to send more power to the rear motor. - 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes, while the car's maximum AC charging performance (for home charging, for example) has been increased from 7.2kW to 11kW, compared to its Hyundai and Kia-badged siblings. - The infra-red camera picks up the user's face and automatically loads their pre-saved seat and mirror positions, infotainment and head-up display preferences. - The GV60 can also wirelessly receive upgrades for systems such as the suspension, brakes, steering wheel, driver assistance technology and the central brain that controls the car's electric motors and charging system. As standard it has 617 horsepower and 701 pound-feet (950 Nm), but you can have that increased to 677 horsepower and 738 pound-feet (1,000 Nm) with the optional AMG Dynamic Plus package. - With the pack, the EQE 53's sprint time to 60 mph drops from 3.4 seconds to 3.2 seconds and top speed is upped from 137 mph to 149 mph. Audi is making room in its electric future for more than SUVs or crossovers. After a string of teasers, the German automaker finally unveiled the Audi e-tron GT concept, a four-door all-electric coupe that has some Porsche DNA sprinkled in and that looks a lot like the A7. Audi introduced the concept Wednesday during the press days of the LA Auto Show.
