In today's episode, Melissa dives into the concept of marketing momentum—what it means, how to create it, and why it's the key to growing your business with ease. Whether you're just starting out or looking to scale, Melissa introduces her "Marketing Momentum Formula," designed to help you generate powerful results without burning out. This simple yet effective approach combines connection, courage, small consistent actions, and time, resulting in compounding revenue and impact. Melissa also shares personal insights from her recent trip to Prague and how reflecting on your goals can create clarity and energy for your business. From understanding the physics behind momentum to shifting from "get" energy to "give" energy in your marketing, this episode will leave you feeling empowered and ready to take action! Key Takeaways: What is Marketing Momentum?: Melissa breaks down the definition and explains how a body in motion stays in motion—just like your marketing. The Marketing Momentum Formula: Connection + Courage + Small Consistent Actions + Time/Frequency = Compounding Results & Revenue. Connection as the Spark: The importance of connecting with yourself, your mission, and your ideal clients to ignite momentum. Courage in Marketing: Sometimes, courage is a decision before it becomes a feeling. Learn how to take bold action even when you're unsure. Small, Consistent Actions: It's not about doing all the things—it's about doing a few things really well, consistently. The Role of Frequency: Building relationships through frequent touchpoints, whether through emails, social posts, or direct messages, nurtures connections and drives results. Why You Create Your Own Momentum: Stop relying on external circumstances like the economy or elections, and start recognizing the power you hold to create momentum in your business. Quotable Moments: "Marketing isn't about doing more; it's about doing less with more impact." "You are the spark that ignites your own momentum. It's not up to the economy, politics, or trends—it's up to you." "Stop marketing from a place of ‘getting' and start marketing from a place of ‘giving.' The results will come naturally." Action Steps: Reflect on how you're currently creating momentum in your business. Are you connected to your mission, showing courage, and taking consistent actions? Simplify your marketing—what can you remove to make your message clearer and more powerful? Focus on building relationships with your audience by showing up more frequently in ways that feel authentic to you. In this week's episode of the podcast, I'm talking about how we can face tough times and circumstances and choose to rise to the challenge, calling us higher, calling us to that next higher version of ourselves. I go through the Steps I use to move through the overwhelm and begin to take action on my deepest desires. So, if you have a vision and a goal and you want to finish this year strong, this episode is for you. The other day, I wrote a post on social media about overwhelm and that there's no shame in feeling that entrepreneurial overwhelm that we all experience from time to time. In fact, when we un-shame it and listen to the message it's trying to get across to us, the roadmap of our way out of overwhelm is revealed. I received so much feedback from that post that I decided to record a podcast to share with you how overwhelm shows up for me and some very practical ways you can simplify and streamline your marketing and the way you're running your business to bust the overwhelm and enjoy more peace and ease in your life and business and free yourself up for your most important work. Also…we are approaching the 100th episode of the Podcast!! Can you believe it?? To celebrate, I'm hosting a very special celebration for the 100th episode, and I want YOU on the show! This episode is all about the lessons on business that came to me while on our family summer vacation in the woods, reading a book called Regenerative Business: How to Align Your Business with Nature for More Abundance, Fulfillment, and Impact by Samantha Garcia, and gazing up at the trees or at the sun sparkling on the lake. So much learning came to me as I spent time with my thoughts and pondering how growing a business is like growing things in nature. After all, humans come from nature, and humans create businesses. So often we hurry, hurry, hurry to grow! All the rushing and forcing the growth doesn't serve us. Growth is a lifelong journey for our businesses, just like it is for the trees. The trees aren't in a hurry to grow. They know they'll be growing for a hundred years. For their entire lives, they're reaching for the sky and growing continually. My hope is that this episode is a small respite for you from the hustle and bustle of doing business and life like a woman and that you can discover more joy in your entrepreneurial journey. -- Stay Connected: Website: https://www.melissamkellogg.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/melissamkellogg/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/melissa_m_kellogg/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BusinessAcademy4Women Want to Grow Your Sales, Doing What You Love, in the time you have?? I hope this episode helps you to see how your vision to create that big, beautiful business is more possible than ever for you and you don't have to sacrifice all the other parts of your life that you love to do it! In this episode, I'm reporting back on my latest Time experiment. Most of the women I talk to, myself included, struggle with how to organize our time, especially balancing between work time and non-work time. Often we're unsure what to use our work time for to make the most of it. So, I've been trying some new things and wanted to share with you what's working and not working for me. My hope is that this discussion begins to open yourself up to new ways to think about how to use your time and how to make the most of the time you have to devote to your business. The issue of time, having enough, and using it the ‘right' way has plagued me my entire entrepreneurial journey. You may not have this same issue; thinking about time is different for different people, but if you ever think about your business, your success, and your revenue potential in regards to time or if having enough time is an obstacle for you, this week's podcast episode is for you! Finally, I understand what Beyonce's doing with her 24 hours each day and how she's likely thinking about the time that most of us are not. And on the podcast this week, I'm sharing with you what I'm learning about time, creating high value in the time we have for working, focusing on spending more of our time on activities that move our business forward exponentially, and how to create a schedule that sets us up for success. Committing to a goal all the way till the end, till it's achieved, can be the greatest challenge in setting and making goals happen. For me, the middle part is when I'm knee-deep in creating the result, when the excitement around setting the goal has passed, and the fulfillment of achieving it hasn't yet come. There's little glory in the quiet hard work of the ‘middle.' This episode is your playbook on how to finish the second half strong. In it, I talk about knowing what course corrections you need to make, how to reclaim your time, and who you need to be to achieve what you want this year. This episode of the podcast is all about how to squeeze all the best learning out of the first half of the year, turn things around, and then what I'm seeing as the secrets to success from other highly successful women entrepreneurs that are my mentors. So rather than drifting through the middle of the year and waking up to Q4 saying “Oh sh!t I'm behind on my goals,” use this time of the year to be setting yourself and your business up for a strong finish to the year!
