Dreamwork can be a useful tool to get to the root of subconscious limiting beliefs that negatively influence our experience of life. Our guest today is Jason Althaver, a life coach, and a dreamworker. Limiting beliefs, like self doubt, perfectionism, or imposter syndrome, can lead to anxiety and stress. Jason shares some of his dreams that demonstrate his limiting beliefs and have helped him break their hold over him. We talk about nervous system regulation, and Jason leads us through a breathwork technique which reduces anxiety. After the break, Briana from North Carolina asks about using lucid dreaming to work with limiting beliefs and shares a dream about being in a house surrounded by wolves. Jason shares some suggestions around helpful bedtime routines and also around dream incubation including what he calls “prospective memory.” He recommends the lucid dreaming approach called MILD which is Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dreaming, originally developed by Steven La Berge. Max shares a dream about a scared child and a glimpse of a portal. Jason ends by sharing a recent dream which inspired him to start asking how to create empowering beliefs. The Equation of Transformation: - Desire + Non-Resistance = Desired Outcome - Resistance or limiting beliefs stem from our programming and can block progress. - Identify areas of strong desire but resistance, and consciously replace limiting beliefs with empowered beliefs. The Gift of Time: - Time spent understanding and overcoming limiting beliefs is a gift, not a curse. - Embrace the journey and trust the awareness gained; it will serve you in transcending limiting beliefs. - Reflect on your personal journey and celebrate progress as you move forward. Non-Resistance and Joy: - The key to joy and peace is living in non-resistance and allowing desires to manifest naturally. - Let go of the need to control outcomes and trust that your desires will manifest when you align with non-resistance. - Identify activities that naturally put you in a state of non-resistance and make time for them regularly. Empowering Beliefs and the Universe: - The universe wants to say "yes" to your beliefs, whether limiting or empowering. - Develop routines and time blocks to control conscious thoughts and disengage from limiting beliefs. - Adopt empowering thoughts and move away from limiting beliefs to achieve growth and help others.

Today, I'd like to talk to you about behavior. Now, on previous episodes, we've talked a little bit about the idea of personality, the idea of finding yourself. What I envision is that there's a lot of people out there who have done the work of figuring out, okay, who is it that you are, but then, beyond that, how does that manifest into how you are perceived in the world, how you go about creating what you want to create because once you know yourself, you know what you want but does your behavior line up with that and does your actions bring the right people, the right opportunities to you or are you still acting in a way that's confusing the people around you? My guest today, Hannah Gfeller, is a behavioral consultant with her own business. --- Hannah, welcome to the program. Thank you for having me. Very excited to be here. Oh, thank you, Hannah. Let's first start talking about behavioral consulting. I'm envisioning that there might be a couple people out there that aren't even aware that that's a profession that someone can pursue. So, describe a little bit what it means to be a behavioral consultant. Yes. Yeah, nobody knows what I do. So, technically, I'm a behavior analyst and a lot of people like to call themselves behaviorists but they're not board certified. So, just for clarification, you have people who say that they do that type of work but I had to go through grad school and supervision and hours of that and then sit for a massive board exam, but not everyone passes. And so then you can work behavior analytically. And I call it behavioral consulting because I come in as a third party usually. People looking for advice to change habits. And I do it in a lot of different ways. Most people when they hear behavior analyst, they think ABA, and that is synonymous a lot with autism, but it's not. Okay. It didn't come from that. The field of applied behavior analysis is what I do and that can go into anything with living humans. We always joke if it's a dead man, they're not behaving, so like you just lay there, it's not a behavior. You got to do something. But I can look at individuals and look at how they want to change their habits or maybe you're a caregiver and you have a little one that needs to change their habits, for safety or life skills or whatever it is, and I can work in that arena. But then I can also look at massive systems within a company because you have lots of people and, as a big company, in a sense it behaves. It has its habits. But you got to break it down into those little cycles of habits in order to make big change. So I do it in the corporate world and I also do it within the healthcare field as well and that's, in sum, behavioral consulting. And so, when you're consulting someone on their behavior,

Perhaps they are currently working in an office and feel as if they're not fulfilled by the work they do. Or maybe they're stay-at-home parents who want to contribute to the family's finances. A few take the plunge into network marketing. They dream of making loads of money and living the lifestyle of the most successful network marketers. They see people they know and admire who have become successful network marketers and want to slay every day like them. But it's often not that easy. You see, success relies upon good habits. I love this article from Eric Johnson, that I am sharing with you. The reality of network marketing What most people don't see is the hard work it takes to achieve success. Although the most successful business leaders make it all seem effortless, you can bet they experienced a variety of challenges and setbacks along the way. They surely had feelings of doubt and frustration as they plugged away toward their goals. There's more to achieving success than deciding to start a business. Once you start a business it's your habits that keep you going and dictate whether or not you succeed. The thing with network marketing is you may be inundated with stories of people who have achieved success using your products or services; however, you don't have to opportunity to see how they got there (and the habits that got them there). If you have friends who are successful network marketers and you're struggling, you may wonder why you're not achieving the same level of success. Again, you're not there to see what's going on behind-the-scenes. Often, we hide our struggles from those around us due to shame, embarrassment or fear. Since we typically only see the positive parts of the journey to success, we may feel that it's abnormal to experience struggle along the way. It's not abnormal to experience struggle; that's all part of achieving success! The habits of success Success begins with good habits. Unfortunately, most of us aren't born with these habits. They don't automatically populate our bodies once we declare we're going to start a business (although wouldn't it be great if they did?). Instead, it takes time, effort, and energy to build these habits and make them part of us. Here are the habits to cultivate to achieve success. Discipline If you want to succeed you have to commit to doing whatever it takes to do so. Commitment takes discipline. Discipline is doing your daily Power Hours and working on your business during that time. This includes following up with customers and prospects, checking in with your team, or watching a short training video to sharpen your skills. Basically, anything intended to move your business forward and grow your network. How to develop the skill: Make a date with your business every day. Choose a time that works best for you so you can be sure to stick with it. Block it out on your calendar and make no other appointments during this time (unless it's an absolute emergency). Set reminders to help ensure you'll stick to the time you've set. After a few weeks, it'll begin to become a habit; you'll just do it automatically. However, those first few weeks, set alarms and reminders to help you succeed in building this habit Focus

From a very young age we start to develop notions or beliefs of ourselves, the world around us, and how we relate to the world. Some of these beliefs are supportive and healthy but many of them don't serve us at all and can severely limit our ability to succeed in any or all aspects of our lives. People experience long term financial problems, depression, social anxiety, stage fright, eating disorders, phobias, procrastination, shyness, fear of public speaking, the inability to form healthy relationships, and many other fear based problems. The thoughts related to these notions are often unconscious and most people don't recognize them or if they do they've become so habitual and familiar that we don't question them. But they determine our behavior, our emotions, and our reality. Today's guest has dedicated her professional life to helping people identify and overcome these negative thought patterns. Shelly Lefkoe has assisted over 12,000 people to transform their lives using a system she developed known as The Lefkoe Method. She is the co-founder and vice president of the Lefkoe Institute, and the Founder and President of the Possibilities of Parenting Center.
