Originally established as a copywriting service, Jo’s business morphed into Content Coaching 2 years later. She realised it was better to ‘teach the man to fish, rather than fish for him.’ Jo loves working with those who are experts in their field, but who struggle to communicate their expertise succinctly and authentically. Her clients are motivated to leverage their experience so they can serve more people, whilst living a lifestyle they’ve purposely engineered. She works 1:1, through group programs and workshops, and on immersion retreats. Now, 8 years on, she’s embracing change again, opening up space to do more of what she really loves – speaking on stages, facilitating and leading groups of people to change through events, masterminds and retreats. Still with a strong storytelling focus, her newest evolution involves helping Experts become Transformational Leaders. She help them transition gracefully by ensuring they have clear direction, absolute focus, and can deliver their expertise in their unique voice via a solid body of work (read: book, program, keynote speech or blog). http://www.thecontentcoach.com.au/ Jo’s business is the fuel for her brain and where she does her best ‘adulting’. It also happily provides an income and the freedom to do the other things she loves: vintage wares shopping, cuddling her cats, walking her new dog, reading magazines, exploring new countries, scrunching her toes in the sand, singing, gym-ing, and volunteering her time to a couple of local charities, foundations and her children’s school.

She has been coaching men and women in creating greater success, joy, and fulfillment for over fifteen years. Her coaching work emerged as a result of the value I received from the Master’s Degree Program in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica. Swinging from intense inadequacy in her relationships to being controlling, she dove deep into spiritual perspective, a deeper connection to Self, and to purpose. She discovered the perceptions and beliefs that her mother, father and two brothers did not love her (or not in the way I thought they should) were slowly dismantled. The pain transformed into Self-compassion, gentleness and a more loving, open-hearted and supportive way of being. After the birth of her daughter, Lucinda in 2008, she started to have a vision for what a life of full-time coaching could look like and how it could allow me to have a more flexible schedule where my work time could be built around my daughter’s life In November of 2010, she launched her full-time coaching practice. Within Soul-Centered Professional Coaching Program at the University of Santa Monica and had the privilege of developing the University of Santa Monica’s Soul-Centered Professional Coaching Program with Drs. Undivided focuses on societal divisions and breaking down those barriers to unify people. This episode will look at what a "true man" is in society. The societal perception of men has been largely negative in recent years. We will look at the Jungian archetypes of masculinity to delve deeper into the root cause of the societal view of men. The episode will explain how men can explore their interests, connect with a life purpose, and impact the world around them in peace, harmony, and positivity. My special guest for this topic will be Rick Harrigan. Rick Harrigan is a career and life-purpose coach who is dedicated to helping men reclaim their power, reignite their passion and rediscover their purpose so that they can rejuvenate their lives and careers. Following college, he packed his car and drove west to Los Angeles where he spent 20 years in media sales and business development building a very “successful” career. Beneath the corporate facade, however, he was feeling disenchanted and disconnected from his true self. Finally, a few years ago, Rick underwent a deep spiritual awakening and facilitated a radical reinvention of his life and career. He followed his passion and moved to Colorado to become a career coach and help other men through mid-life career and life change to help ensure that they too enjoy a mid-life awakening rather than a midlife crisis. Rick is now joyfully residing in Littleton, Colorado with his wife of 15 years and his 10 year-old daughter. We all have a role to play. We all came out of the earth, however way you want to see it, for a divine reason. Our lives are more than just about us, and the relatively small perspective that most of us choose to take on on a daily basis. Many women are living half lives, half expressed, half baked. So many women are suppressing themselves now! It is time for women to allow themselves to really blossom. Trees and flowers never stop themselves from growing, they become ridiculously tall or bushy or wildly colourful and flamboyant. So too should women grow and bloom. Whether into great Oak trees or Daisys. Whether you serve to add beauty or to be the bridge to a greater understanding. The healing begins with our perspective of sexuality. We will dive into how It is the worldly expression of our spiritual existence. Undivided is a podcast series which focuses on the divisions which society creates to divide people and focuses on uniting people in harmony. This episode will focus on the retirement divide: some perceive retirement as the end of their active life. However, with advances in technology others view it as the beginning of a new chapter to utilize their unique talents. I will tackle the stigma surrounding retirement with my special guest, Myles Smith. Myles is a Certified Retirement Coach (CRC), Certified Professional Coach (CPC), ELI-MP, and he also earned an (ACC) Associate Certified Coach accreditation through the International Coach Federation. Since 2009, Myles has been actively coaching fellow Boomers through the issues surrounding their transitions into retirement. He has helped Boomers plan, prepare for, and transition into their retirements instead of postponing it out of fear for the changes it brings. These have been high-powered, highly-driven individuals who got stuck in the fears, the anxieties, the ‘What am I going to do when I retire?’, and… in some cases ‘What am I going to do NOW?’. Mr. Smith has also helped entrepreneurs and small business owners plan business succession strategies and implement exit strategies which have allowed them to successfully move out and transition the businesses they spent years building and truly enjoy new careers in retirement. He believes retirement can and should be the very best years of a person’s life where they achieve more, contribute to the world around them, and live lives of meaning, purpose, and personal fulfillment. Frank J. Maduri is the Host of Undivided and is also a Certfied Professional Coach (CPC) and ELI-MP. His practice focuses on career transitions. Frank is also a professional writer and journalist.
