Before he found success in the music business, he came within inches of leaving his path in music to pursue what would have been an arduous career to becoming a gemologist. Angel Lopez is a Grammy winning music producer and songwriter who has worked with Sam Smith, Coldplay, Kanye West and many more. He has been groomed and mentored by his musical idol, legendary producer Timbaland. Angel nearly missed his calling. Before he found success in the music business, he came within inches of leaving his path in music to pursue what would have been an arduous career to becoming a gemologist. A view which used to be a fundamental human experience. Angel Lopez-Sanchez is an astronomer at the the Australian Astronomical Observatory (AAO) and Macquarie University who knows what we’re missing and what we can do about it.
