Our topic has nothing to do with the popular hit by Pharell, Happy. Even though I have it as my ringtone. It has everything to do with scripture Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” This very familiar passage is often misused from its original contextual meaning. People have used this verse to emphasize the importance of vision; vision in leadership, vision in business, etc. Even from pulpits, it's used to support having a vision for the church and dreaming big dreams for ourselves. Although it's great to have a “vision” in life, big dreams, that's not what this scripture is referring to. In today's episode, discover what Prov. 29:18 is referring to. +++++++ Experience 15 minutes of powerful jump-starting fuel, real-time tips, and strategies from a Biblical perspective, sprinkled with a dose of motivation and inspiration. #WisdomInspired #WisdomInspiredPodcast #WisdomInspiredSuccessCall Wisdom Inspired is a podcast designed to help High Achievers jump-start the day with the fuel needed to help propel you to keep moving forward and is sponsored by the AAC CoWorking community. Since the beginning of this year, fans have been anticipating the singer's album after she dropped photos and videos in the studio with Pharell, Omarion, and SZA indicating that the album was on the way. Now, fans can expect the work of art to release November 5th. While fans are waiting for the album, a few social media critics came through to say that they aren't liking what they heard so far after the R&B singer dropped a single from the album titled, “Ex for a Reason,” featuring JT. Multiple critics compared the sound of this song to the sound of the last album, hoping that the singer doest change her tune. Some even took it far enough to say that the singer needs her ex-boyfriend, London On Da Track to produce this album, as he did the last one. “Stop @-ing me, ” Summer responded to the critics. “The first song I wanted to release was called Toxic but we here now. I had no say in making this decision. So let's just move past it now. We're here now, so leave me alone.” What's going on Internet, Analytic here aka Dreamz and I would like to welcome you to mine, which I call the Notorious Mass Effect Podcast! Britney Spears' Clothing Haul Reels

It's Britney babe! Britney Spears , who typically posts somewhat blurry, highly edited or cryptic pictures, upped her Instagram game on Wednesday, April 8. The 39-year-old pop singer, who was the subject of Framing Britney Spears , posted a new video to show off a few of her favorite fashion looks, which went way beyond her oft-worn peasant blouse . And damn – not only were her transitions top notch, but the star proved she's got some serious style! “ I found my cat suit … No luck finding my mask but at least I found my body !!!! Stay joyful my friends and do what makes you happy by darn it !!!! God bless ,” the “Circus” singer captioned the post, which she shared with her 29.2 million followers. In the high-quality clip, which was played to the beat of Pharell's “Happy,” Spears rocks a total of 4 different looks ranging from downright sexy and scandalous to classic ‘90s. For her first outfit, Spears slipped into an itty-bitty green mini skirt, white turtleneck and leather jacket with fur trimming. She accessorized the look with white high socks and rhinestone-embellished boots. If you ask Us , the next look was hands-down the star of the show. The “Toxic” vocalist, who shares sons Sean Preston and Jayden James with ex-husband Kevin Federline, slipped into a very sexy leotard, or as she calls it, a “catsuit.” Dressed in the skin-tight and see-through number, Spears gave viewers a little “meow” before swiping the camera up to her next look, which was by far the most tried and true Britney Spears ensemble we've ever seen. Wearing little low-rise white shorts and cropped peasant style blouse that showed off her taught tummy, the star did a catwalk down her balcony. She quickly tossed to her next and final look, a pink floral mini with puff sleeves. Like most of Spears' Instagram posts, the video blew up, attracting more than 900,000 likes and 18,000 comments in under 24 hours. Both the Britney Army and those active in the #FreeBritney movement made sure to call out how the post was a departure from her typically less-produced posts. From Publisher: Us Weekly 20 years before #FreeBritney, a revealing Britney Spears doc The first time director Judy Hoffman goes in for a superstar close-up of Britney Spears in the rarely circulated 2002 documentary “Stages: Three Days in Mexico,” the performer is soldiering through yet another photo scrum in what was, already, a long, wearying line of press “events,” this time in a Mexico City Four Seasons banquet hall. Bright, cold red, white and blue illumination from Pepsi's sponsor signage provides the background, while a wall of flashbulbs lights up the foreground. Spears, then 20 and at the end of a grueling world tour, smiles and holds it, just as filmmaker Hoffman, who teaches film studies at the University of Chicago, and her legendary cinematographer, documentary pioneer Albert Maysles, hold the shot just long enough for a question to form in the viewer's mind: How long has this hard-working, indelible pop export, this culturally necessary boy-band antidote, held that smile, exactly? A minute? An entire world tour?

Well if ya been on social media ya know this ones been coming for a while ........ Well its finally here WooHoo! *DJAYP* How many artists / producers can count Jay Z, Snoop Dogg and Pharell as fans as well as drum and bass' finest Andy C, Hype and Pendulum; enjoy heavy rotation in the hands of dub-step royalty such as N-Type and Skream; and have each release enthusiastically supported by Annie Mac and Zane Lowe? This is what Saul Milton and Will Kennard, producing under the name Chase & Status, have achieved in 5 years, and the highlight of their young career so far has been their debut LP ‘More Than Alot' which has helped turned them into a unique urban phenomenon, and the biggest crossover act to come out of the underground since Pendulum. They met at Manchester University through their mutual love of drum and bass in the mid nineties and have DJ'd ever since, waiting until 2004 for their first production, a remix for Future Cut (better known these days for their production work with Lily Allen). It was followed by a series of drum and bass anthems for the biggest underground labels including ‘Duppy Man' for Breakbeat Kaos (home of Pendulum's platinum selling debut album) in 2005 and ‘The Druids' EP for DJ Zinc's trendsetting Bingo label a year later. Their production work for Jenna G's ‘In Love' the same year earned them their first award, ‘Best Single', as voted by over 40,000 listeners for the BBC 1Xtra Drum & Bass Awards. Despite a high volume of releases on Ram Records and constant DJ work, Chase & Status managed to mastermind and release their debut album last year. Packed with the kind of drum and bass anthems that helped build their reputation, it also features tracks which show the diversity of their work: such as ‘Pieces' featuring Plan B and the Radio 1 A-List single ‘Against All Odds' featuring Kano. The result of the album is a thrilling journey through the UK urban scene and deserves its great title: ‘More Than Alot'. One track from the album ‘Eastern Jam' was recently spotted by Snoop Dogg and newly released in April 2009 as ‘Snoop Dogg Millionaire'. Chase & Status have recently been hailed as ‘The most exciting producers in the UK today' by Pharell Williams of N*E*R*D fame, and the excitement around the pair doesn't stop there. They have been asked to remix tracks by some of the world's hottest artists including recent remixes of Jay Z's ‘Death Of Auto-Tune', The Prodigys ‘Invaders Must Die' and White Lies ‘Death'. **Tarcklist** Disaster Delete Retreat2018 (Feat. No man is smoother than Pharell. The voice, the hats, the pores. What is his skincare routine like? I can only imagine he bathes in baby tears once a month when there's a full moon. What I wouldn't give to have my tears touch the bosom of our smoothest music aficionado.

Holding Up The Ladder

I've probably said this before but the thing I love most about music, apart from the music itself is who you get to meet through it, the relationships that are forged - I've made friends whom I now consider my extended family. One of those people is the reason I know today's guest. His name was Richard Antwi (he unfortunately passed away a few years ago). He was a lawyer and my manager and became a really good friend - he was instrumental in the careers of many artists, he signed the likes of Adele to her record deal, he also put some of the UK's grime artists on the map, think Lethal Bizzle, Boy Better Know and Wretch 32. He also managed my guest today, singer Daley. Hailing from Manchester in England Daley has one of those voices, so soulful and a falsetto that's as clear as a bell. If you think I'm exaggerating, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder also agree - he has sung with both of them at their request - Daley even told me after we ended our interview that he was at Stevie Wonder's house for Thanksgiving last year!I met Daley soon after he got signed and became his piano teacher. I was fortunate enough to hear some of his songs before they were released. Since then he has gone on to record 3 full length albums, worked with Pharell, sung with the likes of Jessie J, Marsha Ambrosius of the band Floetry, Jill Scott, Maxwell, Angie Stone and as I mentioned the legend that is Stevie Wonder. We talk about Daley's journey into music, the UK music industry's approach to RnB & Soul artists compared to the States, about signing to a major label. We talk about hindsight, about finding your voice. We talk about career highlights, being creative in a pandemic and trusting your instincts even if it goes against the dominant voices in the room.Guest: Daley Title: Don't second guess your gut feelingFeatured songs by Daley:Slow BurnThose Who WaitAlone Together ft. How many grammy winners can you name as investors?  If it’s zero or one, Partake Foods has you beat. Because this great tasting, allergen-free cookie brand counts both Jay-Z and H.E.R. as marquee investors.  And it’s not just celebrity investors who are taking notice. Today Partake is available in more than 2,700 stores (including major retailers like Whole Foods and Target), and has been featured everywhere from Forbes to the Today Show. Not bad for a brand that launched out of an apartment barely three years ago.  So how did Partake do it? To find out, we sat down with Denise Woodard, the CEO and founder of Partake Foods.  One reason Partake has resonated so deeply is the idea of inclusion that’s core to the Partake story. Denise’s daughter suffers from a rare combination of food allergies, and her initial goal was simply to create a treat that her daughter, and kids like her, could actually enjoy.  Partake was also one of the inaugural brands in SnackNation’s Amplify box, a special curation highlighting and celebrating BIPOC- and women-founded snack brands. The idea of inclusion extends to Denise as a leader too. Like any founder, Denise feels the pressure to do right by her customers and investors. But she also describes a deeper responsibility she feels to pave the way for women founders and founders of color through Partake’s success.  You can tell from speaking to and learning about Denise that she is a skilled leader, and she tells us about the leadership style that she’s honed over the years, first as an executive at Coca-Cola, and now as the leader of a high-growth startup.  Denise also shares when it’s time for your business to take venture money (and when not to), Partake’s early re-brand, plus the mindset brand founders need to build their brand in a pandemic.  Links Partake Foods Connect with Denise on LinkedIn Forbes: The Odds Are Stacked Against Women Of Color Seeking Venture Funds. This episode was inspired by a recent Medium piece I wrote about Entrepreneur, a new song by Pharell and Jay-Z. Even with all of the positive images in the video some people still managed to focus on supposed drama from years ago between Jay-Z & Nas. Drama and Trauma sells I guess. So here's the deal, some people think that Jay-Z intentionally drops music on the same day as Nas. No one can stop your shine! As a customer I'm not thinking about if I should get Nas or Jay, if their projects is are bangers I'm getting both. It's not an either or option. When we were purchasing CD's, the clerk never stopped you from purchasing a Nas Song because Jay-Z dropped an album, you weren't forced to by a Jay-Z album. That whole line of thinking comes from a scarcity mentality. It made me reflect on a few incidents within the podcasting space, I don't owe anyone any explanation about topics I select, who show I may be guest on, who I have on my show or when I release an episode and vice versa. I want us all to win! Radio has been around for ages and chances are it will continue to survive, however podcasts are on the rise and continue to evolve. Pharell and Jay-Z dropped a new song, Entrepreneur as a stand alone piece is low key, however when you sprinkle the images message on top of the beat and lyrics it immediately elevates the song. Yet some choose to focus on 10 words, I shared a few thoughts on the topic in a medium post: Do You Listen To Rap Music or Do You Just Skim Through It? After watching the video I finally decided to read the LA Times article.
