I chat with Josh from The Juliana Theory about the band's impact on surf/skate culture, what to expect on their upcoming Australian tour, and their hunt for local food and drink while on the road. We dive into balancing family life with music, guitar as his safe space, and being a non-drinker. Find out what shoegaze bands he's into , some of his favourite Aussie bands like Tired Lion and Wax, and his occasional vampire book indulgence. A super grounded convo with a genuinely awesome musician—don't miss it! https://thejulianatheory.com @joshfiedler Photo by: @joshuammyers
Oh my word...yet another value adding and life changing episode! The guys were joined in-studio this week by our good friend Brian Owens. We believe Brian to be the FIRST in the "5 Timer" club! By day, Brian is the Vice President of Safety & Team Development at Buesing Corp. By night, Brian is not only a very talented musician, songwriter and author, but also a passionate crusader of workplace safety. As a philosopher, he strives to provide perspective to help people remember that the reason we work in the first place is to provide a sustainable means for the people, freedoms, and activities we all hold dear. As a safety professional, he reminds those same people that if we aren't behaving safely, and if we aren't being aggressively proactive to ensure the sustainment of our chosen ideals, we are just allowing situational circumstances to dictate the direction, and the outcome. Remember, if it ever gets hopeless, you overlooked something...let all that sink in! Music by Lynyrd Skynyrd!!

Music transcends mere entertainment—it's a powerful language of the heart that can comfort, inspire, and unite. When families sing together, they weave emotional connections deeper than words alone can reach. Those shared melodies become lifelines of hope, carrying messages of strength, love, and resilience. Whether it's a traditional lullaby, an inspiring anthem, or a simple tune passed down through generations, singing creates a sacred space of belonging. Children find profound comfort in the vibrations of familiar voices, experiencing emotional healing and security through music. These shared musical moments become cherished memories, silent teachers of courage, love, and family connection. Let your home be filled with song—not just for entertainment, but as a healing practice that soothes souls and builds unbreakable family bonds. Brad Bordini is a liver of life in the truest sense and it comes through his music in spades. Part of the burgeoning northeast Wisconsin singer-songwriter scene, Brad is sort of a hidden gem whose time it is to be discovered. His songs have a lot of heart and deep meaning. Sometimes they're heavy, sometimes a bit more whimsical, but that's life and Brad does an outstanding job bringing these qualities to his songs. Get your tissues ready cause it has a very sad ending (*spoiler alert: Mozart dies). Matt gets to do some funny voices, and I get to do the sound effects.
