Power up: Daniel 10:2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. 5 then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days., King James VersionIn this episode, we are seeking the Lord on behalf of several right now issues that we are facing on this earth. Reading IDn 12:1-3In those days, I Daniel, heard this word of the Lord:"At that time there shall arise Michael, the great prince, guardian of your people;it shall be a time unsurpassed in distress since nations began until that time.At that time your people shall escape, everyone who is found written in the book.“Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake; some shall live forever, others shall be an everlasting horror and disgrace.“But the wise shall shine brightly like the splendor of the firmament, and those who lead the many to justice shall be like the stars forever."Reading IIHeb 10:11-14, 18Brothers and sisters:Every priest stands daily at his ministry, offering frequently those same sacrificesthat can never take away sins. But this one offered one sacrifice for sins, and took his seat forever at the right hand of God;now he waits until his enemies are made his footstool. For by one offeringhe has made perfect forever those who are being consecrated.Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer offering for sin.GospelMk 13:24-32Jesus said to his disciples:"In those days after that tribulationthe sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from the sky,and the powers in the heavens will be shaken."And then they will see 'the Son of Man coming in the clouds'with great power and glory, and then he will send out the angelsand gather his elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of the sky."Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.In the same way, when you see these things happening, know that he is near, at the gates. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass awayuntil all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away."But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. 17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. 19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; 20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.1Jn. 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?— — —Watch/Listen here using our Subsplash WebShare Playerhttps://cbcponca.subspla.sh/mthxq9jListen on archive.orghttps://archive.org/download/102923-am-facebook-stream/102923AM-FacebookStream.mp3

Frank is out of the office, so I (Daniel) am taking the reins on today's show. The latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) data is in—and the sharp rise in energy prices is dominating the report. I break down what's behind the surge… and why the situation creates a big problem for the Fed. Speaking of energy, the International Energy Agency (IEA) expects oil demand to peak before 2030 as clean energy replaces fossil fuels. I explain why I don't believe this will happen… and why you'd be wise to have exposure to oil & gas right now. And I highlight a report from over 1,600 scientists on why climate change isn't as dire as the media makes it sound. The Wall Street Journal recently ran a story about how amateur investors are piling into risky option bets. I recap the article… and explain why this strategy has worse odds than the casinos in Vegas. But that doesn't mean you can't use it to your advantage. I share a few tips on how to turn the odds in your favor… and a brokerage firm benefiting from the trend. While we're taking a business from the dreaming concept phase into the nitty-gritty realization phase, there are countless milestones. But even as milestones are met, there are always more to achieve, creating what can sometimes result in a temporary, but widening gap. So how do we go about closing the gap between expectation and reality? To discuss this question, I (Daniel) interviewed Emily C. Krueger, the President and CEO of 16 Tech Community Corporation. Entrepreneurs are most successful when they fit and have passion for what they are undertaking. The answers to critical questions such as these indicate the probability of making it: How do they relate to the solution they are bringing into the world? Do they have grit and determination, especially in the early stages? Are they humble enough and willing to seek help and support when and where they need it? Are they crazy enough to invest in?In this episode, I (Daniel) interviewed Matt Hunckler, Founder and CEO of Powderkeg, and Christopher (Toph) Day, CEO of Elevate Ventures. Together with their friend, Nate Spangle, Matt and Toph are also the co-hosts of the podcast Get IN. As we spoke, Matt and Toph shared about their entrepreneurial journeys, invigorating connections, and founder market fit. When we set out as entrepreneurs, we all need help. First of all, we need startup capital and often investors as necessary. Beyond that, there are other needs, such as advice on leveraging technology, garnering attention and customers, and avoiding business pitfalls. Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships can mean the difference between building a thriving business or struggling to keep failure at bay.To explore this truth further, I (Daniel) interviewed Jason Jacobsohn, the Founder and Managing Partner of Propellant Ventures, as well as the Managing Director of Founder Institute. Creativity deserves an outlet. Products that help humanity need to come to life. As entrepreneurs, we each see a problem, a need, and we desire to bring the solution. In this video, I (Daniel) share my testimony with my agnostic-atheist brother John in the second episode of The Belief Dialogues. To start our discussion, I explain that what led me to faith in Christ was a spiritual need for forgiveness from my violations of the Moral Law. In this episode, various concepts are discussed between the two of us, such as: the concept of conviction, the Moral Law, are morals invented or discovered, our fundamental assumptions and presuppositions, finding meaning in life, my view of God, and what would convince me to change my mind about God as a Christian. #apologetics #Christianity #atheism #scienceandfaith #christianpodcast #christianpodcasters #christianpodcasts #christianpodcaster #christianpodcasting #sciencefaithandreasoning #sfr --------------------------------LINKS--------------------------------- Listen to The Science Faith & Reasoning podcast anywhere podcasts are listened to. As entrepreneurs, we all are stepping into the unknown to some degree. This can be a good thing or this can be a bad thing. It really depends on what, exactly, the unknown is. Your unknown may range from uncertainty in specific areas to simply not knowing what you don't know. So with this inherent risk, how do you determine what is worth pursuing and when you should seek more knowledge before you embark? To dig into this further, I (Daniel) chatted with Matthew Behringer, the Managing Partner of TKSoftware Inc. Matthew related how his foray into the unknown led to many hard lessons learned. He cautioned other entrepreneurs to not forsake the wisdom of others who can offer sage advice into your venture. Matthew also discussed finding ways to pivot, balancing a partner relationship, hiring character, and implementing the right ideas.“We didn't know what we didn't know… I wouldn't recommend to anybody else to step out at the same level of unknowing... As leaders, we want to have core values that matter and that are being lived out. However, we don't want to police values or try to enforce them in unnatural manners. In this episode, I (Daniel, a Christian and a Science Teacher) question my brother (John, a software engineer) about his Agnostic-Atheism. I ask him why he believes what he believes and what evidence would change his mind about God's existence. Here is a friendly discussion between two brothers about their differing beliefs. We discuss Richard Dawkins view of atheism, how to think about the world, views of truth, prayer, the regularity of nature, mythology, our need for forgiveness, engineering mind vs. literature mind, the New Testament, other various conceptions of God, ways to think about historical and religious texts, and how to understand miracles. Agnostic would be the claim that you do not know for sure whether God exist or not. Theism would be the belief that God exists. Love of serving can be the drive you need to create momentum in the savage days. But timing and needs play a huge role as well. You may have a wonderful idea but if the market is not ready for it, it won't matter. Along with that, you personally need to be ready. The good news is, there are currently nearly limitless needs and niches. Much of what existed even 10 years ago has changed, while many things have hardly changed at all. Most people are resistant to change. We simply don't like it. We want things to be how they've been and disruptions and difficulties are viewed as setbacks. But what if change and pivoting are opportunities in disguise? What if they are the very catalyst needed to prompt your next great thing? To talk about his experiences with change I (Daniel) invited Jeff Boller, owner of Vision One Real Estate and one of the founders of Reeliti.com. Jeff shares about surviving the real estate bubble of 2008 and current changes on the horizon. We discuss being time driven, not getting mired in details, and focusing on the proper things for ROI. Jeff also shares some sage wisdom regarding pivoting, reframing opportunities, and priming for change. “Change can be a great thing. You just have to set your mind differently. You have to look at it as an opportunity and not as a disruption.” -- Jeff BollerWhat You'll LearnBeing time drivenProper focus for ROIReframing opportunitiesProcessing changeChoosing your mindsetDemonstrating tenacityRecommended ResourcesConnect with Jeff BollerJeff grew up on the East Coast in Maryland and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Business degree in Marketing. When what's burning inside of you to do is undeniable, it's time to start making your own business a reality. Continuing to put it off only creates misery and denies the world of what you have to offer. Timing is all about when it's right for you. Praying Effectively Does it matter if we pray? Does it matter how long we pray? Does it matter what we say in prayer? Isaiah knew how to pray & get his prayers answered. Ch. 62-63 Isaiah 62:1; 62:6-7 Isaiah 62:1 KJV For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. Isaiah 62:6-7 KJV I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, [7] And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. —NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS -The tradition with some people at the end of the old year and the beginning of the New Year is to make some effort at changing their life. -Here are some of the top things that have been identified as New Year's Resolutions: • Lose Weight • Volunteer to Help Others • Quit Smoking • Get a Better Education • Get a Better Job • Save Money • Get Fit • Eat Healthy Food • Manage Stress • Manage Debt • Take a Trip • Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle • Drink Less Alcohol -Many do their best but often fail at making the necessary changes to be successful at them. In fact some researchers have pointed out that within less than 20 days most of the resolutions have fallen by the wayside. -It takes great effort to change! -The greatest need for change is that which is in the spiritual life of people. TO PREVAIL IN PRAYER REQUIRES TIME -The passage in Isaiah serves as a leaping off point for us as we lead up to our prayer revival. -There may be times that prevailing prayer is a fierce but brief battle but normally the type of prayer that will be effective is going to take time. There are few instant answers that we find in prayer. Certainly there are moments when God has performed instant miracles in prayer but those are few and far between. -Prevailing prayer will require a commitment of time. It is important to understand that we are not speaking of a commitment to the clock but a commitment to purpose in prayer. Those who are immature in their prayer life will watch the clock but those who are mature in prayer find that they are more concerned with a purpose in their prayer. Find purpose in your praying and the time will take care of itself. -Listen to Isaiah's testimony: • I will not keep silent! • For Jerusalem's sake, I will not remain quiet! • The purpose in the prayer was for righteousness to shine like the rising sun and salvation to be a brilliant blazing torch! • Purpose in prayer will put a watchman on his wall! • Purpose in prayer will keep that watchman from silence in prayer! -You who call on the Lord. . . give yourselves no rest. Furthermore by your commitment to prayer, the Lord will never cease to listen to you. -That means that a man ought to be a praying man and that a church should be a praying church. -Nehemiah prevailed in his praying: Nehemiah 1:6 KJV Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned. -The record of Scripture tells us that Daniel set aside a routine in prayer. . . Three times a day with his windows opened toward heaven. . . But there came a time when he spent as much as three weeks prevailing in a time of special need. Daniel 10:2-3 KJV In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. [3] I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. -Paul also found a commitment to time in his prayers. He was prevailing for new converts and for the new churches that he had established. 1 Thessalonians 3:10 KJV Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith? -We live in a generation that implies that pastors, ministers, and preachers should be doing everything but prevailing in prayer for their congregations. . . Organize. . . Administrate. . . Plan. . . Manage. . . Design. . . Have staff meetings. . . Figure out widgets. . . Do everything but pray and preach! -Jesus gave himself to this when he prayed all night! Luke 6:12 KJV And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. -We learn how to pray by praying. . . • A singer will spend hours practicing to sing. • An athlete will spend hours in training to play the game. • A soldier will spend hours in drill to work at his discipline. -There is only one way to learn how to pray and that is to spend time in prayer! -By the very nature of things, prayer victories will require a sacrifice of time. When I am willing to invest myself in a time of prayer, it literally changes my will. -A commitment to specific and regular times of prayer builds up a spiritual force within a man that literally will sweep away the attack of worldliness, apathy, and lukewarmness. -We prevail in prayer by spending time with it. The most unanswered prayers are those that are never prayed! TO PREVAIL IN PRAYER REQUIRES PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT -If prevailing prayer requires time, it also requires praying in the Spirit. E. M. Bounds—The secret of feeble praying everywhere is the lack of God's Spirit in His mightiness. -You must be filled with the Spirit to pray effectively. But you also have to live in the Spirit. Feeble and ineffective praying is caused by a shallow experience in the Holy Ghost. If you are filled with the Spirit, you are controlled by the Spirit. Ephesians 6:18 KJV Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Romans 8:26-27 KJV Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. [27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Ephesians 2:18 KJV For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. -The Holy Ghost: • Enables us to pray. • Creates a partnership in prayer. • Helps us to be sensitive to prayer needs. • Causes us to feel the checks, the promptings, and the moods of the Spirit. • Keeps us awake and aware of the spiritual battle we are in. • Helps us to walk in the Spirit. -Prevailing prayer has a requirement that we pray in the Spirit. TO PREVAIL IN PRAYER REQUIRES URGENT PERSISTENCE -Prevailing in prayer requires time. . . Requires praying in the Spirit. . . Requires an urgent persistence. -The Bible uses a word that describes great need. It is called: importunity Luke 11:18 It is an old word that means insistence, begging, clamoring, and pleading for a specific need. All throughout the Bible there is a repeated pattern that shows the importance of holding on in urgent prayer and not fainting or giving up even when the answer seems to be a million miles away. -Jesus told his disciples a parable to illustrate that truth: Luke 18:1-8 KJV And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; [2] Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: [3] And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. [4] And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; [5] Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. [6] And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. [7] And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? [8] I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? E. M. Bounds—Few things give such quickened and permanent vigor to the soul as long, exhaustive seasons of importunate prayer. -These seasons of praying when it seems like nothing is occurring, trains men and women in the life of prayer. It will add grace and spiritual maturity to your life. -The reason it adds to our walk is because it involves everything in your soul and being. It is literally a might movement toward God. Jeremiah 29:12-14 KJV Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. [13] And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. [14] And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. E. M. Bounds—Heaven is too busy to listen to half-hearted prayers. -God cannot tolerate lukewarmness and the greatest prayers are those that feed off of the flames of the Spirit. It is the fiery intercessors who will conquer in their praying. That burning desire in prayer makes intercessory prayer literally invincible. -This kind of praying. . . urgent. . . persistent prayer will set the soul on fire! This kind of prayer will burn through the obstacles without to gain the throne of God within. -If there ever was a time that the church and the world needed saints to prevail in urgent prayer it is now

Hey kids! We talked about a lot of things on this episode but I can't remember what they were because we are leaving for a cruise in 4 days! Let's just assume that I (Daniel) said lots of witty things and Adam poo-poo'ed them rather than react as one would for a witty thing. I'm not sure exactly how one reacts to a witty thing and for that matter, I am not entirely sure that I said anything witty. SO, how about you just listen to the episode and decide for yourself! Daniel made outstanding impacts in his day. The Scripture shows us he was studious. In Daniel 9:2, he said, “In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:2). Daniel was so studious he gave special attention to Jeremiah's prophecy of the seventy years of the captivity. In Daniel 1:3-4 (NLT), the Bible shows us the King needed people who were “well versed in every branch of learning” to pilot the affairs of his kingdom, and Daniel was found to be eminently qualified. Daniel was highly esteemed of the Lord. In the New Testament, Jesus also quoted him (Daniel) and corroborated his prophecy when He said, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet…” (Matthew 24:15). We find the same quality with Paul the Apostle. Paul was studious. In 2 Timothy 4:13, we see his attachment to his study materials when he said to Timothy, “The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.” He specially requested for his study materials to be sent to him, because he was a diligent student. If Daniel and Paul were studious, why won't you? You must study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of truth. In Hosea 4:6, God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” He was referring to the knowledge of the Word. Until and unless you know the Word for yourself, you're going to be a victim in life. That's why God wants you to study. Give yourself to the Word and your success, progress and prosperity will be inevitable. Confession I'm given to voracious study of the Word of God; therefore, I heap success upon success, living victoriously, walking in divine health, and winning every day! Through my knowledge of the Word of God, I make outstanding impact for the Lord in my world, bringing many out of ignorance and dearth of divine realities, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus' Name. This summer we are going to discuss religion from a psychological and historical perspective as we investigate the evolutionary origins and modern social systems of religion. In this episode we discuss HYPER REAL RELIGIONS and the influence of pop culture on religious systems and in some cases how they define and develop into religions and belief on its own. We discuss two in particular, Tolkienism, the belief of J.R.R. Tolkien as real history and Jediism and its growth across western countries. On our Patreon show, Comp Beasts, Logan, Tim and I (Daniel) have been stupidly covering every season of the classic CBS reality show Big Brother. We are now about to start the seventh season, which was Big Brother: All Stars. Before kicking that off, the three of us decided to do a snake draft to attempt to create the most entertaining possible version of Big Brother: All Stars using the casts of the six seasons we just finished watching. Anyway, Logan cut out this excerpt to give people a taste of what we're doing on that show. Please feel free to COMPLETELY IGNORE THIS. It has nothing to do with movie franchises whatsoever.
Today, Katie and I (Daniel) question whether we have been "underdogs" in life? This spills over to reflections on being born into middle class families. We also share a new area of interest - art history! We start off with Francis Bacon... and then continue on with past dinner conversations!! Come join us ;-)Reference links: Francis Bacon's Study after Velázquez's Portrait of Pope Innocent X Francis Bacon Documentary
Daniel: God's Sovereign Rule over Human History — Daniel's Terrifying Vision of a Man Dan 10:1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. Dan 10:2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. Dan 10:3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. Dan 10:4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; Dan 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: Dan 10:6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. Dan 10:7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Dan 10:8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. Dan 10:9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. Dan 10:10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. Dan 10:11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Dan 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Dan 10:14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
Daniel: God's Sovereign Rule Over Human History — Dan 9:1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; Dan 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Dan 9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: Dan 9:4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; Dan 9:5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
