Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share the company's Q1 2025 earnings and operational highlights, revealing a robust start to the year driven by increased production in Brazil and new contributions from Canadian assets. The company reported a 41% year-over-year increase in first-quarter sales volumes, reflecting continued momentum in its core Brazilian natural gas operations. Field-estimated April sales volumes averaged 2,372 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), including 13.5 million cubic feet per day (MMcfpd) of natural gas and 126 barrels per day (bopd) of condensate. Alvopetro's Murucututu field remains a key driver of its Brazilian gas production, although Q1 volumes were partially impacted by downtime at the 183-A3 well. An intervention was successfully executed to isolate lower intervals and improve productivity. Looking ahead, the company has spud the 183-D4 well targeting the Caruaçu Formation, approximately 110 metres structurally updip of the 183-A3 well. A sidetrack operation is currently underway on the lower 680 metres of this new well. In parallel, the company has made notable progress in Canada. Two newly drilled wells with a 50% working interest came online in April, contributing approximately 90 bopd net to Alvopetro after initial clean-up. These additions bring the company's total estimated April sales to 2,462 boepd. While this represents a 5% decrease compared to March, it marks a 1% increase over the Q1 average, indicating continued underlying strength. Ruttan also noted a positive development in pricing. As of May 1, Alvopetro's natural gas price under its long-term agreement with Bahiagás has been adjusted to BRL2.08 per cubic metre, up 7% from the February price of BRL1.95/m³. This adjustment further strengthens the company's revenue outlook for the remainder of the year. #proactiveinvestors #alvopetroenergyltd #tsxv #alv #otcqx #alvof #OilAndGas #BrazilNaturalGas #EnergyProduction #CEOInterview #Q32024 #ProactiveInvestors #CoreyRuttan #NaturalGas #BrazilEnergy #OilAndGas #EnergySector #ReservesUpdate #GasSales #ProactiveInvestors #2025Outlook
Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan talked with Proactive's Stephen GUnnion about the company's fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 results, highlighting a 37% production increase in early 2025. He attributed this to the successful redetermination of the Caburé asset and the development of the Murucututu asset in Brazil, which led to an upgraded gas sales agreement with Bahiagás. Ruttan detailed the financial highlights, emphasizing Alvopetro's industry-leading operating netback margins of 86–90% and strong cash flow, which supports its capital allocation model of returning half of cash flow to stakeholders while reinvesting the rest into organic growth. The company also announced a dividend increase to $0.10 per share. Additionally, Ruttan discussed Alvopetro's expansion into Canada through a strategic partnership with a private operator. The company has already drilled two multilateral wells with six horizontal legs each, totaling over 15 kilometers of open hole drilling. These wells were completed under budget, with production results expected in the coming weeks. Looking ahead, Ruttan said Alvopetro aims to continue expanding its production capacity in both Brazil and Canada. He noted that the company is well-positioned to deploy capital into high-return opportunities in both regions. Stay tuned to Proactive for more updates on Alvopetro Energy. Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce that the company achieved January 2025 sales volumes of 2,457 boepd, including 13.8 MMcfpd of natural gas, 141 bopd from condensate, and 18 bopd of oil—a 41% increase from Q4 2024. Ruttan highlighted the role of the Murucututu field in this growth, following the successful recompletion of the 183-A3 well in Q3 2024. Alvopetro now plans to spud the 183-D4 location, targeting the Caruaçu Member approximately 110 metres up-dip from the 183-A3 site, with an additional exploratory target in the Marfin Formation. Results from the 183-D4 well are expected by the end of Q1 2025. After Murucututu, Alvopetro will drill and complete five development wells at the Caburé Unit as part of its development plan with its partner, further boosting production potential. In addition to its Brazilian operations, Ruttan shared the company's strategy to expand in Canada. Alvopetro is targeting the Mannville multi-zone heavy oil fairway, focusing on formations like Colony, McLaren, Waseca, Sparky, GP, Rex, Lloydminster, and Cummings. The company aims to leverage multilateral drilling technologies to unlock attractive economics from these resources. Alvopetro is also partnering with Durham Creek Energy, funding 100% of two earning wells at an estimated cost of $4.5 million in exchange for a 50% working interest in 19.13 sections of land in western Saskatchewan. If successful, this land position could support up to 100 development drilling locations, providing a strong foundation for future growth. #proactiveinvestors #alvopetroenergyltd #tsxv #alv #otcqx #alvof #OilAndGas #BrazilNaturalGas #EnergyInvesting #GasSales #Drilling #OilProduction #CoreyRuttan #EnergyStocks #NaturalGas #CanadianOil #BrazilEnergy #OilIndustry #Investing #EnergyExpansion #StockMarketEnergyProduction #CEOInterview #Q32024 #ProactiveInvestors #GasPlantCapacity #OrganicGrowth #EnergyStocks
Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the company's November 2024 sales results, an update to its long-term natural gas sales agreement, and the declaration of a quarterly dividend for Q4 2024. Ruttan highlighted that 2024 was a pivotal year for Alvopetro, as the company increased its productive capacity at the Caburé field and achieved notable success at the Murucututu project. These developments have positioned Alvopetro to commit to higher base firm sales volumes starting in 2025, further reinforcing its disciplined capital allocation model and long-term growth strategy. In November 2024, the company reported average sales volumes of 1,465 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), including 8.1 million cubic feet per day (MMcfpd) of natural gas sales, 110 barrels of oil per day (bopd) of natural gas liquids (condensate), and 9 bopd of oil sales, based on field estimates. The November sales figures were impacted by reduced demand in Bahia, primarily due to facility turnarounds within the region. Alvopetro also conducted a mandatory 2-day shutdown of all production operations to complete inspection and turnaround activities at its facilities. However, the company noted strong recovery in December, with natural gas sales volumes averaging 11.6 MMcfpd based on field estimates to date. Alvopetro and Bahiagás have reached an agreement to update their long-term gas sales contract, aligning the terms with prevailing market conditions. Key updates include a 33% increase in Alvopetro's contracted firm volumes, starting January 1, 2025, raising the base committed supply to 400 e3m³/day. The company also declared a Q4 dividend of USD $0.09 per common share, emphasizing Alvopetro's ongoing commitment to returning value to shareholders while pursuing growth opportunities. #proactiveinvestors #alvopetroenergyltd #tsxv #alv #otcqx #alvof #OilAndGas #BrazilNaturalGas #EnergyProduction #CEOInterview #Q32024 #ProactiveInvestors #GasPlantCapacity #OrganicGrowth #EnergyStocks #investment #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share details on the company's operational performance in September 2024 and provide an update on its ongoing drilling activities. The company reported a notable increase in production, with Q3 sales volumes averaging 2,106 boepd, marking a 29% jump from 1,629 boepd in Q2. In September, sales volumes reached an average of 1,963 boepd, which included 11.2 MMcfpd of natural gas, 87 bopd of condensate, and 9 bopd of oil. Ruttan also provided insight into the initial completion of the 183-A3 well. The well began production in September and is currently cleaning up as it produces both natural gas and completion fluids. Over the last 72 hours of continuous operation, the well has averaged 2.1 MMcfpd of gas, along with 175 barrels of completion fluid and 50 barrels of condensate per day. The flowing wellhead pressure during this period has averaged 1,195 psi, with a final value of 1,150 psi, and production has been controlled with an 18/64" choke. The company also completed a recompletion of the 183-1 well, but the zone encountered is currently producing only water. Moving forward, Alvopetro plans to monitor the 183-A3 well's performance before designing an intervention for the 183-1 well. Additionally, they aim to begin a new drilling project up-dip of the 183-A3 well from the prebuilt 183-D pad location. #proactiveinvestors #alvopetroenergyltd #tsxv #alv #otcqx #alvof #OilAndGas #BrazilNaturalGas #EnergyProduction #CEOInterview #Q32024 #ProactiveInvestors #GasPlantCapacity #OrganicGrowth #EnergyStocks #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's impressive achievements and future outlook in Brazil's natural gas sector. Ruttan highlighted the pivotal moment on July 5, 2020, when Alvopetro became the first independent company to deliver sales-specified natural gas to the local market, breaking the long-standing monopoly held by the state oil company, Petrobras. Operating in the Reconcavo Basin in northeast Brazil, Alvopetro supplies natural gas to Bahia Gas, with its production site strategically located just 15 km from key industrial consumers. Ruttan also shared updates on the company's ongoing operations, including the exciting progress at the Murucututu asset, where two recompletions are currently underway. Looking toward the future, Alvopetro has set its sights on expanding production through the drilling of five new development wells at the Caburé unit, with targeted growth anticipated in late 2024 and into 2025. Ruttan emphasized Alvopetro's ability to swiftly convert new gas discoveries into production and cash flow, thanks to the company's established infrastructure. In addition to discussing operational achievements, Ruttan outlined the company's multi-year development strategy, which will drive continued growth and activity over the next six months. He also highlighted the strong relationships Alvopetro has built with local communities, regulators, and government officials, further solidifying the company's position in Brazil's evolving energy landscape. #proactiveinvestors #alvopetroenergyltd #tsxv #alv #otcqx #alvof #CoreyRuttan #NaturalGas #BrazilEnergy #OilAndGas #EnergySector #Murucututu #GasProduction #BahiaGas #BrazilianMarket #ProactiveInvestors #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Rachel Ruttan's research is ripe with counterintuitive findings, such as, how past experience overcoming a struggle can actually make us less compassionate to people currently experiencing the same challenge. Or how the pursuit of money can make us feel worse about ourselves. Going behind her fascinating research, listen to how Rachel's own journey out of poverty informs her work. Rachel Ruttan is an assistant professor at the Rotman School of Management, at the University of Toronto. Rachel's research examines issues around moral judgement, values, compassion we feel for others and why we sometimes have lapses in it. Her work has previously been profiled in the New York Times, NPR and the Harvard Business Review. You have the power to unleash your potential and if your employer isn't investing time and money in your development it is your responsibility to take this on for yourself. If you could spend 9 x 40 hour weeks per year of solid leadership training and development do you think you would benefit from it? Of course you would so why doesn't this happen? Most people will say they don't have the time to be able to do that so here is the answer. Al talks about spending 1 hour per day reading self development books and if you do this every day for a year you will have spent 365 hours on your personal growth. This equates to 9 x 40 hour weeks so you can see that it is possible! In these troubled times it is even more important to prepare yourself to take advantage of the opportunities that will undoubtedly appear. If you wait until they appear it will be too late and you may miss out. Spend your time on intentional actions now that will reap rewards later. Create a keystone habit of dedicating learning time within your daily routine. Share this time with your children, spouse, family members, and colleagues. I guarantee that this investment will return dividends that are far above your current expectations. You can contact Al via his website at: www.alruttan.comThis is a journey, my friend, and if you are prepared to put in the work I will be happy to be your guide. As I leave you I want to ask you this question:"Are you happy living under the average limitations imposed on you by other people, or are you ready to rise to the greater expectations of your inner self?"Contact me:Website: www.Chris-J-Baker.comEmail: Chris@Chris-J-Baker.comFacebook: Release Your Unconscious PageFacebook: Leadership Excellence with Chris BakerLinkedIn: Chris BakerInstagram: chris _j_baker_ryuTo purchase my book 10 Steps 2 Freedom from Amazon click here.

But thanks to a surprise from his son, he found himself with a new dog (which turned out to be a great thing). Plus, dog expert, Colleen McCarvill, talks about how to deal with aggressive dogs that aren't yours.

When the crafters of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) set out to assemble an accessible guide to prayer and liturgy they were also intentional about putting together a resource that could shape disciples for a lifetime. In this episode, spiritual director, teacher, and writer Karl Ruttan shows us how the Book of Common Prayer can be used to deepen our spiritual lives. Karl begins by telling us how the BCP serves as a handbook for holiness. He then walks us through its origins in Benedictine spirituality. He also shows us how to use the Daily Offices, or daily prayer liturgies for morning and evening prayer. Karl ends by showing us how we might use the Baptismal Covenant as a foundation for a rule of life.
