In this passage, we see that God invites us to seek Him while He may be found. He has compassion and extends His pardon to the wayward sinner. And we can trust Him despite what we see going on around us. His ways and thoughts are higher than our own. Listen in and be encouraged by this episode; a subject that should give us much hope even in these days.

Today C3 Impact Pastor, Becky Campbell shows us how to share our faith through our own stories
This is a Video and audio Podcast episode. The Video is only available on the Spotify platform or our YouTube channel. The audio is available on all platforms. I met up with a group of young people in Center City Philadelphia, who had set up a prayer station in City Hall, offering prayers, sharing hot chocolate and their faith. In fact, I interviewed two of the young people present, Collin and Mckenna, who spent the time to talk with me about their own transformation experience, sharing their faith from a handbook. Importantly, we were reminded that Orthodox Christians views salvation from a "theology of the already but not yet" - we are saved, we are being saved and we shall be saved, indication the transformational journey of the Christian experience. While speaking with Collin and McKenna, you could hear the other YAM youths announcing, "Hot chocolate, free bibles..." and praying for people who stopped to peruse the tables and to have coffee or grab some free literature. Towards the end, I sing a song that was written and composed by my twin brother, Ricardo McKenzie and yours truly - Renaldo McKenzie - years ago, that we had performed at a "Youth for Christ" Event and won the Caribbean Duet Competiton for. It's entitled: "Why Don't You Call Upon the Divine". The YWAM group wears red and white and will be in Center City for the rest of the week and probably the month from 11:00am - 3:00pm with their Prayer Station, offering prayers and sharing free literature, words of encouragement, prayers and their faith. Who are YWAM: "Youth With A Mission" reaches out in 180+ countries through three main areas — Evangelism, Training and Mercy Ministry. Their ministries cover every sphere of society, including ship-based medical care, performing arts teams, Bible training programs, business coaching, sports ministries, anti-trafficking work, and many more. From a late-night vision of waves of young people reaching every continent, given to a 20-year-old in the Bahamas, to a global ministry with over 20,000 workers, the growth of YWAM is the story of God's inspiration, God's grace for many mistakes, and the creativity of the Holy Spirit's leading. The heart of YWAM–to worship God, to serve God's global purposes, and to champion young people–remains as strong as it was in the beginning. According to a Barna Research study in 2019, 47% of Millenials think that sharing their faith is wrong. To be fair, we've all seen examples of how NOT to do it: Christians have been pushy, arrogant, and dismissive. Even so, it's literally the last thing Jesus said before leaving Earth: go make disciples. So how can we effectively do that? Today Pastor Greg dissects our excuses and encourages to follow the command of our Savior. Scriptures today: Acts 1:4-8 // Matthew 28:18-20 // 2 Timothy 4:1-2 // 1 Peter 3:15 // Thank you for joining us for this special message! God counts on us to share the Gospel in word and action with those who are not saved. Making disciples is the most important “good work” of Jesus' disciples. Lutheran Christians have left a legacy for us of being impactful evangelists! It starts with teaching our children about Jesus as they grow and flows into the mission fields of our community, country, and globe. Here at AZchurch.com, we're all about people because GOD is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for God is through our love for each other, and we do that by helping each person grow in their relationship with the Word. Our vision is to see God transform our neighbors, community, and the world as we connect people to Jesus.

How do we share the Good News? This week, Zach dives into Acts 2 and talks about how to "Show and Tell" about Jesus. We don't want to keep this amazing truth to ourselves, and we've been pushing this idea called "Choose Your One," where you choose one person that you want to witness to. We hope you're encouraged to take the next step with your "one" and to spread the Good News about Jesus! (7/11/21)

HUMP #019: Rev. Matt Lipan-“The Hybrid Approach to Launching Indiana's Newest United Methodist Church" The purpose of the Hoosier United Methodist Podcast is strengthening the connection in the United Methodist Church in the state of Indiana to achieve the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ of the transformation of the world. In Episode#019, Dr. Brad Miller has an enlightening conversation with Rev. Matt Lipan, Lead Pastor of "Gateway Community Church" in Indianapolis. Gateway is Indiana's newest congregation launching on July 1, 2015 and chartering on June 10, 2016. Matt shares with Brad the story of Gateway and how he and the leaders of the church strategically took a hybrid approach to launch strong and grow rapidly to the point where the church now has two worship experiences with over 200 adults and children in attendance. Matt tells about how Gateway emerged out of the mission and ministry of the larger Castleton United Methodist Church; and how working through the "Fruitful Congregations Journey" process was instrumental in decisions by the Caslteton church to give birth to the new Gateway congregation which is now completely independent and stands on its own. Matt describes how working with a parent church and launching a new work has elements of a redevelopment project as well as a brand-new work and thereby is what he describes as a "hybrid" approach to church planting. Dr. Brad drills deep with Matt on the particular pressures of planting a new congregation the emphasis on reaching children in the growing suburban community and his vision moving forward of Gateway becoming a teaching church for the region and giving birth to new congregations themselves with a multiplication strategy. You will also hear about Matt's personal call to ministry and his faith journey as well as the joys and challenges of “do-it-yourself” home remodeling projects. Episode#019 of the Hoosier United Methodist Podcast is sponsored by the book “Meet The Good People: Wesley's 7 Ways to Share Faith” by Rev. Dr. Roger Ross and supports Mission Guatemala under the direction of Rev. Tom Heaton.
In Episode 002 of The United Methodist Podcast Dr. Brad Miller has a meaningful conversation with Rev. Dr. Roger Ross. Dr. Ross is the senior pastor the First United Methodist Church in Springfield, Illinois and author of the book “Meet the Good People: Wesley's 7 Ways to Share Faith.” Roger and Brad have known one another for some time, indeed they planted churches together on the exact same date in the mid-1990s. They are time talking in this interview about something close to their hearts - how can the United Methodist Church relate to people far from God but who are good people people but for one reason or another have not made a connection to God through a local church. In his new book “Meet The Good People: Wesley's 7 Ways to Share Faith.” Ross takes his study of the life and ministry of John Wesley and applies to the context of 21st century culture to come up with seven ways we can share our faith with the people Roger has termed Joe and Sally Good People. You'll enjoy this conversation about the book and will find it fruitful in your ministry context. Roger and Brad also have some conversation about General Conference and about something near and dear to both of their hearts - golf.
