When they're expecting something outside of the state motive, then we're entering that ulterior motive realm. I think we've all encountered this, had to deal with it at some point, and some of us have operated with our own ulterior motives. Doesn't mean they're always bad, but usually concealed and some might see as selfishly beneficial. In my life, I've seen a lot of my female friends not accept what some might consider simple help, favors, etc., just to avoid some guy's ulterior motive that would resurface itself later. I have guy friends who haven't accepted help because they knew it might be thrown back in their faces later, and used as leverage by someone to get something there wanted. Have you experienced this, did you spot it before the situation took off, or were your "Spidy senses" tingling? lol  You know we want to talk about it, so let's hear those stories. This week we examine the history of Spider-Man in live action! From the first fan film in 1969 to Infinity War, Thwipp with us again!  Spider-Man was the first Marvel property to be brought to Hollywood by Stan Lee and the ole' web head had a bit of a rough start. Stan didn't like the 1977 made for TV movies much.  He said that Peter didn't seem like Peter.  We agree.  From there we explore the Japanese "Supaidāman" (1978-79) and then we go from TV into film.  Did you know in the late 80's Tom Cruise was set to be Peter and Bob (Mario) Hoskins was going to be Doc Ock?  That woulda been crazy. We are back and this week we...are...SMOKIN!! This week we are firing on all cylinders after seeing Tenacious D on the Jimmy Kimmel show earlier in the week.  First we get into a conversation about which comic streaming service is the best, is it DC Universe, ComiXology Unlimited or Marvel Unlimited? Then, thanks to ComiXology, we got to read and dive deep into "The Mask" comic. We see where it started (Dark Horse Presents #10 and Mayhem #1-4), how it differs from the movie and then we each pitch our own new Mask movie/series.  Then...the debut of our new track, from the Grant Rozmarin aka Boognish Monster tribute album "Mutilated Hits," Put Your Boobs On (Remix)!  We, Thwipp It Boys, are super proud of this!!  Next, we sit down in the "Spidy Corner" to learn the ins and outs of "The Clone Conspiracy" with Dr. Manus. (His doctorate is in Spidy studies)  Then we debut the new Manus track, fresh off it's appearance in Amazon Prime's The Romanoffs, "Savior."  Lots of big drops this week!!! Enjoy!!!

This week we saw Avengers Infinity War, the greatest movie film of our time.  We saw it the Thursday it came out but wanted to give you all a week to see it before we went full Spoilerific on your asses. We recorded this right after we got back and we were psyched up! First though, we talk about Manus' new love for Mage by Matt Wagner.  We also take a look at Manus' new Mezco One:12 Spidy.  Then at 15 minutes we go full on into the spoilerific review and run through.
