Today on the Toy Power Podcast, with Trent on holidays, the team welcomes in an overseas stand-in, one of our fave Patreons, Mr. John Caulfield! We get to know John with our usual questions and great story about a movie experience gone slightly askew… There’s a whole ton of news with new Marvel Legends, Star Wars, a Halloween susprise from Mondo, a NEW biggest Transformer and an exciting TBA reveal from LEGO and DC. John clues us in on the 4Horsemens new shipping deal and asks the hard questions: Is Paw Patrol cocaine for kids?? We then go through our latest pick ups and John gives us a wonderful breakdown on what Masters fans can expect from from Mondo. Ben goes 3rd party with a MOTU custom that surpasses the original, while Frank tells a positive retail experience – it’s nice to be nice people! John then tests the guys with an awesome quiz – did he finally catch Darren out with a MOTU question? Which original name made Mattel think twice about potential copyright? Also featuring ballbusters, wingmans and Chief Quiby’s lovechild PLUS more Star Wars Black series than should be legal! All recorded on our new gear specially thanks to our awesome Patreons! Hi there everyone, this is the premiere audio of my podcast. The main topic of my podcasts deal with the action figure community. I enjoy kitbashing and customizing my Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black series action figures. But I also dwell into many other aspects/likes in my life for example like my love of wrasslin', my family, some social media, and other things that I just feel like including in my podcast. The overall goal of my podcast, and youtube channel is to bring the world of customizing to others whom don't really understand it or are eager to learn about it. I plan to at some point raise money to purchase used or broken figures and to restore them and ultimately give out to children whom might be going thru a crisis or emergency. The idea of receiving a figure during a time like this is to ease the worries if at least only for a moment. Hope you follow me in this journey...even if my first podcast's sound like I don't know what I'm doing or saying...we all gotta start somewhere.

Today on the Toy Power podcast it’s nothing but new hotness as we cover the latest round news headlines plus the breaking stories out of New York Comic Con 2018! Infact there’s so much stuff to talk about, we had to call in some backup in the form of our good friend, Mr Davey Damaged! But it seems right from outset, Darren is set to usurp Davey’s self-made crown of dirty humor… Other topics include: the newly unveiled DC Primal Age figures - the latest trailers from Aqua-Bro, She-Ra and Bumblebee - Davey’s graphic love for McFarlane - Mondo: Yeah but, WHEN? - Height Shaming - Marvel Legends hitting right in the 90s - When is an alternate head, not so alternate - Uppers and Downers - DC Movies: bro do you even tone? - Star Wars Black and Resistance figures - Trent sweating on female figures - Transformers hitting us right in the 80s (and our pants) - New DC Essentials goodness and, at the end of it all, we come to the realization that we all need more Giraffes in our life. But like, not really…. Support the show.
Today on the Toy Power Podcast we cover the latest round of news from all corners of fandom. Mattel dive into the movie business and we have some ideas for them – not all of them good! Those NECA Movie Turtles get a mainstream release – how far can the line go? Did someone say Vanilla ICE? Some interesting headlines as the toy industry begins to take shape in a post-TRU world with big moves by Walmart and FAO Schwartz. Is the in-store magician our favorite new character? The new She-Ra cartoon has a reveal date but will Mattel be ready in time? #notbloodylikely Is Michael Bay making a Home Alone movie? Ben wonders why the Vultures head is so popular while Trent bemoans the psychology behind numbered Star Wars Black figures. We then have a quick look at a toy that features in EVERYones household – LEGO! But how did you read that just now? LAYGO? LEGO? LAEGO? Will Ben ever find missing dragon wing that was stolen by the heater? Will Trent every NOT send himself new toys from his Lego Postal Office? All the answers await you… #asktoypower Support the show.

The star of Toy Hunter on the Travel Channel stops by the Scum and Villainy Cantina to talk with Stephen and Mike about their deep unending obsession with TOYS. Why do they love toys so much? Is it their emotional problems that make them cling to childhood by their bloody fingernails as it's slowly being torn away? Possibly, or maybe it's just a clawing need to purchase all the 6" Star Wars Black series before the world can stop them. Either way, they love toys, and we all love Jordan for telling us what they're worth. Climb in your replica of the Millennium Falcon and fly it to Tatooine to join us on...THE NIGHT TIME SHOW!
