Back in January, Bloomberg News published a story quoting an obscure government official named Richard Trumka Jr. He works with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which regulates stuff like furniture and electronics and household appliances. Basically, the agency is supposed to make sure that the stuff we buy is safe, and won't kill us or make us sick. The Bloomberg story talked about how a growing body of research shows that gas stoves are really bad for indoor air quality. They let off pollutants like nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide, and they've been linked to heart problems, cancer, and asthma. And in this story, Trumka said the government would look into it, and maybe recommend some regulations on the appliance. Within days, the US went batshit crazy and gas stoves were all over the news. They had become the subject of the latest skirmish in our seemingly never-ending culture war. Cooking with Gas

Republicans are fatalistic snowflakes. They are; we can be honest about that. They scold Democrats, and say they are too sensitive and politically correct. But the smallest thing, a tiny change, and they lose their marbles. Take, for instance, gas stoves. Just the mere mention of the idea of updating regulations and replacing those appliances and the entire GOP fell to the floor in fits of rageful indignation. This is the party that holds the majority in the house; and that is what we will be discussing this time around. More information is emerging about the U.S. soldier who fled into North Korea on Tuesday. Court documents and a lawyer representing Travis King reveal that he was facing two assault allegations, and had been fined in South Korea for damaging a police car. House Republicans are accusing the Biden administration of wanting to ban gas stoves—but without knowing how the home appliances actually work. Meanwhile, Democrats say the measure is not a ban, and that their proposals would only be beneficial to Americans. The Biden administration is suspending funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The move follows a months-long review that determined the Chinese research institute was not compliant with federal safety regulations. ⭕️Watch in-depth videos based on Truth & Tradition at Epoch TV

The gas stove ban that we were told wasn't going to happen is now being debated in Congress. Democrats are trying to ban certain models of gas stoves and other household appliances. Republicans, meanwhile, are pushing two bills to try to stop the bans from happening. Yet the proposed restrictions on gas stoves go much deeper. It includes restrictions on many other household appliances, and also relates to much broader political agendas aiming to cut household carbon emissions to zero. In this episode of Crossroads, we'll discuss this issue and others. ⭕️ Stay up-to-date with Josh with the Crossroads NEWSLETTER

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: The Drive at 5: While appearing on Fox News with Dana Perino, women's cycling champion Hannah Arensman announced her retirement from the sport following a devastating loss to a biological male in a recent women's competition. While speaking at a House Oversight hearing, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) outlandishly claimed that gas stoves were killing people—including many of her constituents. The progressive congresswoman seemingly called for a ban on gas stoves…while defiantly emphasizing “this is not a ban on gas stoves!” According to a hidden camera interview with a Special Assistant for Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), the senator would be “okay with…overturning the second amendment.” The interview was conducted by O'Keefe Media Group. Last week, several Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) whistleblowers testified before a House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The hearing addressed alleged abuses of power by leadership within the FBI. In his opening statement, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) warned the FBI whistleblowers that following their testimony before Congress they would likely be improperly targeted by elements of the federal government—citing Matt Taibbi as an example of what could happen. Four days after testifying before Congress, Internal Revenue Service officers alarmingly showed up to the home of independent journalist Matt Taibbi.

Gas stoves provide an instant and constant heat source and burn cleaner than coal and wood burning stoves. And people who love their gas stoves really loooove their gas stoves. But if they knew what their beloved cooktop was releasing into their home, would they still hold it in such high regard? Nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and fine particulate matter are just a few harmful pollutants found in gas stoves, and it doesn't stop there. And what about induction stoves? They don't burn gas, so this must be an eco-friendly alternative, right? Induction cooktops offer fast and efficient cooking by using electromagnetic energy to transfer heat to magnetic cookware. But induction stoves also come with a warning. Pregnant women, children, or individuals who rely on a pacemaker should avoid this cooktop due to potential exposure to EMFs. And we know that EMFs are linked to all kinds of harmful consequences. Is boiling water faster worth the risk? That's what we will explore in this episode of Fatal Convenience. We're sharing an episode from a podcast we love called The Carbon Copy. Suddenly, gas stoves were a hot topic on nightly news programs across America. The study ignited backlash from conservative pundits, especially after a commissioner from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said stricter regulation of gas stoves was on the table.
