It's Thursday, March 13th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Pakistani police rescue abducted 12-year-old Christian girl A 12-year-old Christian girl in Pakistan reunited with her parents last week after being abducted by a Muslim neighbor. Saba Shafique was abducted back in January and forced to marry her abductor. Saba was beaten and locked in a room until police recovered her. She is glad to be reunited with her family. Sadly, such forced marriages affect hundreds of girls from religious minorities in the Islamic country every year, reports Morning Star News. Pakistan is ranked 8th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of nations where it is most difficult to be a Christian. Devout British Christians gave 11% of income to charity The Christian charity Stewardship released their latest Generosity Report on Christians in the United Kingdom. The study found the average monthly giving for Christians equated to 5% of their income. That's twice the national average. Christians who attend church and read the Bible at least once a week give even more, donating 11% of their income. That's almost five times the national average. The study also found such committed Christians experienced the most joy when giving compared to those who attend church and read the Bible less frequently. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” Stocks rose with lower inflation In the United States, U.S. stocks rose yesterday after February's inflation report showed signs of slowing price increases. The consumer price index rose 0.2% last month, putting February's annual inflation rate at 2.8%. That's down from 3% in January. Stocks rallied at the news after a couple of days of losses. Markets have fluctuated in the face of President Donald Trump's tariff escalations with countries around the world. However, Trump did not rule out a recession for the U.S. during an interview on Fox News. Instead, he signaled a period of transition. TRUMP: “There is a period of transition, because what we're doing is very big. We're bringing wealth back to America. That's a big thing. And there are always periods of -- it takes a little time. But I think it should be great for us.” Chase will no longer discriminate against conservatives, Christians A major bank has changed its Code of Conduct to protect against political and religious debanking. JPMorgan Chase stated in a letter last week that it will not discriminate based on religious affiliation or religious views. Conservative and religious groups have complained in recent years that Chase has canceled their banking services. Following the updated Code of Conduct, Jeremy Tedesco with Alliance Defending Freedom said, “This is a major victory for free speech and religious freedom in the marketplace. … We expect Chase's new policy to set the standard for the rest of the financial industry.” Pro-abortion activist paid $10,000 fine for vandalizing pro-life center Officials in Florida have exacted a $10,000 fine from a pro-abortion activist associated with Antifa. Gabriella Oropesa worked with several other activists to vandalize pro-life pregnancy centers in the Sunshine state in 2022. They spray painted threatening messages on the facilities like “YOUR TIME IS UP!!” and “WE'RE COMING for U.” Oropesa also faces up to 10 years in prison. Dept. of Education to cut staff by 50% The U.S. Department of Education announced Tuesday it plans to reduce its staff by 50%. Impacted staff will be placed on administrative leave starting March 21. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said, “Today's reduction in force reflects the Department of Education's commitment to efficiency, accountability, and ensuring that resources are directed where they matter most: to students, parents, and teachers.” This will cut the Department's workforce from 4,133 workers to 2,183 workers. 9% of Americans have interactive spiritual relationship with God And finally, Dr. George Barna released a new report on Americans minimizing the role of God in their lives. Only 40% of U.S. adults believe God exists or influences human lives. Sixteen percent say God is the most important element of their lives, and 9% say they have an intimate and interactive spiritual relationship with God. Among self-identified Christians, only 20% describe their relationship with God as intimate and interactive and nearly one-third do not believe He is actively involved in every aspect of their daily existence. In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus said, “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, March 13th, in the year of our Lord 2025. The audacity of emptiness, of course, playing off of Barack Hussein Obama's book, The Audacity Of Hope. The audacity of Kamala Harris' emptiness is also her biggest advantage because she simply doesn't exist. But let's give some credit. The people who programmed the Kamala bot put in a really, really clever line of code and President Trump unfortunately fell for it. Now the polls show pretty much a dead heat after the event. A lot of voters who thought they might be able to be swayed to Kamala Harris weren't. She was everything we'd expect. There's a lot of good things President Trump said, but of course the Mockingbird media won't acknowledge any of that, they would rather fact check in while they let Kamala lie. What does God's Word say? 1 Samuel 8:10-22 ESVSamuel's Warning Against Kings10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking for a king from him. 11 He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them to his chariots and to be his horsemen and to run before his chariots. 12 And he will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and some to plow his ground and to reap his harvest, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive orchards and give them to his servants. 15 He will take the tenth of your grain and of your vineyards and give it to his officers and to his servants. 16 He will take your male servants and female servants and the best of your young men[a] and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves. 18 And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”The Lord Grants Israel's Request19 But the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel. And they said, “No! But there shall be a king over us, 20 that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.” 21 And when Samuel had heard all the words of the people, he repeated them in the ears of the Lord. 22 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Obey their voice and make them a king.” Samuel then said to the men of Israel, “Go every man to his city.”Episode Links:Trump just called out Kamala for being raised by a Marxist professor of economics in front of 100 Million people. Four conspiracy theorists marched into the Oval Office. It was early evening on Friday, Dec. 18 — more than a month after the election had been declared for Joe Biden, and four days after the Electoral College met in every state to make it official."How the hell did Sidney get in the building?" White House senior adviser Eric Herschmann grumbled from the outer Oval Office as Sidney Powell and her entourage strutted by to visit the president.President Trump's private schedule hadn't included appointments for Powell or the others: former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne, and a little-known former Trump administration official, Emily Newman. But they'd come to convince Trump that he had the power to take extreme measures to keep fighting. As Powell and the others entered the Oval Office that evening, Herschmann — a wealthy business executive and former partner at Kasowitz Benson & Torres who'd been pulled out of quasi-retirement to advise Trump — quietly slipped in behind them. The hours to come would pit the insurgent conspiracists against a handful of White House lawyers and advisers determined to keep the president from giving in to temptation to invoke emergency national security powers, seize voting machines and disable the primary levers of American democracy.Herschmann took a seat in a yellow chair close to the doorway. Powell, Flynn, Newman and Byrne sat in a row before the Resolute Desk, facing the president. For weeks now, ever since Rudy Giuliani had commandeered Trump's floundering campaign to overturn the election, outsiders had been coming out of the woodwork to feed the president wild allegations of voter fraud based on highly dubious sources.Trump was no longer focused on any semblance of a governing agenda, instead spending his days taking phone calls and meetings from anyone armed with conspiracy theories about the election. For the White House staff, it was an unending sea of garbage churned up by the bottom feeders.Powell began this meeting with the same baseless claim that now has her facing a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit: She told the president that Dominion Voting Systems had rigged their machines to flip votes from Trump to Biden and that it was part of an international communist plot to steal the election for the Democrats.[Note: In response to a request for comment, Powell said in an emailed statement to Axios: “I will not publicly discuss my private meetings with the President of the United States. I believe those meetings are privileged and confidential under executive privilege and under rules of the legal profession. I would caution the readers to view mainstream media reports of any such conversations with a high degree of discernment and a healthy dose of skepticism.”]Powell waved an affidavit from the pile of papers in her lap, claiming it contained testimony from someone involved in the development of rigged voting machines in Venezuela. She proposed declaring a national security emergency, granting her and her cabal top-secret security clearances and using the U.S. government to seize Dominion's voting machines."Hold on a minute, Sidney," Herschmann interrupted from the back of the Oval. "You're part of the Rudy team, right? Is your theory that the Democrats got together and changed the rules, or is it that there was foreign interference in our election?"Giuliani's legal efforts, while replete with debunked claims about voter fraud, had largely focused on allegations of misconduct by corrupt Democrats and election officials."It's foreign interference," Powell insisted, then added: "Rudy hasn't understood what this case is about until just now."In disbelief, Herschmann yelled out to an aide in the outer Oval Office. "Get Pat down here immediately!" Several minutes later, White House counsel Pat Cipollone walked into the Oval. He looked at Byrne and said, "Who are you?"The meeting was already getting heated.White House staff had spent weeks poring over the evidence underlying hundreds of affidavits and other claims of fraud promoted by Trump allies like Powell. The team had done the due diligence and knew the specific details of what was being alleged better than anybody. Time and time again, they found, Powell's allegations fell apart under basic scrutiny. But Powell, fixing on Trump, continued to elaborate on a fantastical election narrative involving Venezuela, Iran, China and others. She named a county in Georgia where she claimed she could prove that Dominion had illegally flipped the vote.Herschmann interrupted to point out that Trump had actually won the Georgia county in question: "So your theory is that Dominion intentionally flipped the votes so we could win that county?"As for Powell's larger claims, he demanded she provide evidence for what — if true — would amount to the greatest national security breach in American history. They needed to dial in one of the campaign's lawyers, Herschmann said, and Trump campaign lawyer Matt Morgan was patched in via speakerphone.By now, people were yelling and cursing. The room was starting to fill up. Trump's personal assistant summoned White House staff secretary Derek Lyons to join the meeting and asked him to bring a copy of a 2018 executive order that the Powell group kept citing as the key to victory. Lyons agreed with Cipollone and the other officials that Powell's theories were nonsensical. It was now four against four.Flynn went berserk. The former three-star general, whom Trump had fired as his first national security adviser after he was caught lying to the FBI (and later pardoned), stood up and turned from the Resolute Desk to face Herschmann."You're quitting! You're a quitter! You're not fighting!” he exploded at the senior adviser. Flynn then turned to the president, and implored: "Sir, we need fighters."Herschmann ignored Flynn at first and continued to probe Powell's pitch with questions about the underlying evidence. "All you do is promise, but never deliver," he said to her sharply.Flynn was ranting, seemingly infuriated about anyone challenging Powell, who had represented him in his recent legal battles. Finally Herschmann had enough. "Why the fuck do you keep standing up and screaming at me?" he shot back at Flynn. "If you want to come over here, come over here. If not, sit your ass down." Flynn sat back down. The meeting had come entirely off the rails.Byrne, backing up Flynn, told Trump the White House lawyers didn't care about him and were being obstructive. "Sir, we're both entrepreneurs, and we both built businesses," the former Overstock CEO told Trump. "We know that there are times you have to be creative and take different steps."This was a remarkable level of personal familiarity, given it was the first time Byrne had met the president. All the stanchions and buffers between the White House and the outside world had crumbled.Byrne kept attacking the senior White House staff in front of Trump. "They've already abandoned you," he told the president aggressively. Periodically during the meeting Flynn or Byrne challenged Trump's top staff — portraying them as disloyal: So do you think the president won or not?At one point, with Flynn shouting, Byrne raised his hand to talk. He stood up and turned around to face Herschmann. "You're a quitter," he said. "You've been interfering with everything. You've been cutting us off.""Do you even know who the fuck I am, you idiot?" Herschmann snapped back."Yeah, you're Patrick Cipollone," Byrne said."Wrong! Wrong, you idiot!"The staff were now on their feet, standing behind one of the couches and facing the Powell crew at the Resolute Desk. Cipollone stood to Herschmann's left. Lyons, on his last day on the job, stood to Herschmann's right.Trump was behind the desk, watching the show. He briefly left the meeting to wander into his private dining room. The usually mild-mannered Lyons blasted the Powell set: "You've brought 60 cases. And you've lost every case you've had!"Trump came back into the Oval Office from the dining room to rejoin the meeting. Lyons pointed out to Powell that their incompetence went beyond their lawsuits being thrown out for standing. "You somehow managed to misspell the word 'District' three different ways in your suits," he said pointedly. In a Georgia case, the Powell team had misidentified the court on the first page of their filing as "THE UNITED STATES DISTRICCT COURT, NORTHERN DISTRCOICT OF GEORGIA." And they had identified the Michigan court as the "EASTERN DISTRCT OF MICHIGAN."These were sloppy spelling errors. But given that these lawsuits aimed to overturn a presidential election, the court nomenclature should have been pristine.Powell, Flynn and Byrne began attacking Lyons as they renewed their argument to Trump: There they go again, they want to focus on the insignificant details instead of fighting for you.Trump replied, "No, no, he's right. That was very embarrassing. That shouldn't have happened."The Powell team needed to regroup. They shifted to a new grievance to turn the conversation away from their embarrassing errors. Powell insisted that they hadn't "lost" the 60-odd court cases, since the cases were mostly dismissed for lack of standing and they had never had the chance to present their evidence.Every judge is corrupt, she claimed. We can't rely on them. They shifted to a new grievance to turn the conversation away from their embarrassing errors. Powell insisted that they hadn't "lost" the 60-odd court cases, since the cases were mostly dismissed for lack of standing and they had never had the chance to present their evidence. Every judge is corrupt, she claimed. We can't rely on them. The White House lawyers couldn't believe what they were hearing. "That's your argument?" a stunned Herschmann said. "Even the judges we appointed? Are you out of your fucking mind?"
Tonight, we learned several things from the first hearing of the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol:1. After the riot began on January 6, many White House officials, including members of Trump's own family, urged him to call off the rioters. He did not. Presumably the committee will provide detailed evidence of this. 2. When told that the rioters wanted to lynch Vice President Pence for being unwilling to stop the certification by electors, Trump said "maybe our supporters have the right idea" and he "deserves it." Here, too, I'm looking forward to detailed evidence. 3. When the riot was underway, Pence called for extra help from the Defense Department. 4. Also when the riot was underway, minority Leader McCarthy called Trump, family members, and chief of staff Mark Meadows, to get Trump to issue a statement to tell the rioters to stop. Yet Meadows wanted only to “control the narrative” so that it didn't look as if Pence was in charge.5. The riot was the culmination of months of a carefully-constructed plot by Trump and his cronies to advance the big lie that the election was stolen. According to Cheney, Trump personally coordinated a sophisticated 7-part plan to overturn the result of the election.6. Yet Trump knew — because he was repeatedly told by his own staff, including his attorney general — that there was no evidence that the outcome of the election was the result of fraud. “I told the president it was b******t,” then Attorney General Barr told the committee, referring to Mr. Trump's claims of election fraud. “I didn't want to be a part of it.”There is much more, which presumably will be detailed over the next several weeks. The star of tonight's hearing was Republican vice-chair of the committee, Liz Cheney, who said at the end of her opening remarks, referring to her Republican colleagues who continue to lie on behalf of Trump: “There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone. But your dishonor will remain.”But I've got two key questions about these proceedings: — At the start of this post I used the terms “we learned” several things. But will anyone who has fallen for Trump's Big Lie learn anything from these hearings? Fox News decided not to air them. Rightwing social media has discounted them, or charged them with being part of a conspiracy against Trump. The mainstream media continues to frame the hearings in partisan terms — asking, for example, whether they will help or hinder Democrats in the midterms.— Will the hearings have any bearing on whether Attorney General Merrick Garland prosecutes Trump for criminal acts — such as violating 18 U.S.C. § 371, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and 18 U.S.C. § 1512, obstruction of Congress? So far, at least 862 people have been arrested and charged with crimes. But the window of opportunity for prosecuting Trump is closing. Once he declares his intention to run for president, prosecuting him will become far more directly entangled in partisan politics. We must not allow these hearings to become — like the Mueller report and the two impeachment proceedings against Trump — another dead letter, which I fear would only embolden Trump further. Trump must be held accountable. The future of our democracy hangs in the balance. This is a public episode. We catch up with Gary Gerstle and Helen Thompson about the state of the Trump presidency, from impeachment and cover-ups to Syria and Ukraine. We ask what it would take for Republican senators to desert him and what the collateral damage is likely to be for the Democratic presidential candidates. Plus is Hillary really - really?! - back in the game?Talking Points:What are the grounds for impeaching Trump? There’s a legal argument: Trump breached campaign finance laws. There’s also a constitutional argument: that Trump is trading American interests for personal gain.More specific charges are less open to counter-attack. Politically, it may be advantageous for the Democrats to focus on Ukraine. But a too narrow charge might not resonate. The Democrats need to make the case that this matters morally and link it to a broader American narrative.Elections are a sacred event in American democracy. But the U.S. electoral system also depends on a certain amount of corruption to work.Is fear of foreign interference really just displacement? The chances of a successful conviction that passes the Senate are next to nothing, but they’re not nothing. The latest polls show a modest rise in Republican support for impeachment.Republicans might see Pence as the best way to secure the interests of the party.A foriegn policy crisis may be what dooms Trump.Republican Senators are furious about what Trump just did in Syria. The Republican establishment can’t pull Erdogan back. But during foreign policy crises, people usually rally around the president.Biden’s campaign may be collateral damage in all of this. Elizabeth Warren now appears to be the front runner. There doesn’t seem to be a centrist candidate capable of picking up Biden’s banner.Warren poses an existential threat to the Silicon Valley titans. But she fits into a long American tradition of anti-monopoly dissent. If Warren runs, and wins, as a candidate from the Democratic left, she would make history.Mentioned in this Episode:The New Yorker piece on Hunter BidenTickets to David’s upcoming event at the Cambridge UnionFurther Learning:Our friends at 538 on American support for impeachmentAnd as ever, recommended reading curated by our friends at the LRB can be found here: lrb.co.uk/talking See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

With the announcement of a “whistle blower’s” complaint that Trump abused his position to demand that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky aid in digging up “dirt” on his opponent in 2020, Joe Biden, Pelosi suddenly shifted her position on September 24, and the race for impeachment was on.What led to this sudden rush to judgement against Trump? There are three significant reasons for the flight-forward lunacy coming from the anti-Trump crowd:1. The investigation launched by Attorney General William Barr into the origin of the whole fabricated Russiagate fiasco, which was first announced by President Trump on May 24, is moving into a decisive phase. In that announcement, Trump said he tasked Barr with the job of conducting a broad probe, saying he hopes he looks into the role of the United Kingdom, Australia and Ukraine, at a minimum. Along with the soon-to-be-revealed findings of Justice Department Inspector General Horowitz on fraud committed by Obama administration intelligence officials in obtaining FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign, Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham are honing in on the networks which launched the attack against Trump. They are investigating what role was played by foreign governments in the operations against the Trump campaign in 2016, and then in the regime change coup against him after his election. What they will likely prove is that Russiagate was a continuation of British imperial geopolitical manipulations to insure that there could be no improvement in U.S.-Russian relations, with Ukraine serving as a key battleground to disrupt Trump’s efforts to develop cooperative relations with Russia. The February 2014 regime change coup against a democratically-elected government in Ukraine was run by British and U.S. intelligence operatives, working with “left-wing” Soros’ -funded networks and “right-wing” neocons, who backed violent Nazi militia networks involved in the Maidan Square uprising. The point man for the Obama administration in handling Ukraine was Vice President Joe Biden.2. The failure of the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller to find evidence of Russian meddling, Trump collusion with Russia, and obstruction of justice by the President, freed him to move forward with his intent to improve relations with Russia. The firing of the Director of National Intelligence Coats and National Security Adviser Bolton, both of whom are committed war hawks who had been acting within the administration against Trump’s desires to put an end to the regime change wars of the last two decades, demonstrated that he was now taking control of his administration, especially its foreign policy. This has been a fear of the imperial geopoliticians from the beginning of his presidency, and it was reaffirmed by his discussions at the Osaka G20 summit with Putin, Xi, India’s Modi, and then his trip to meet with North Korean President Kim following the summit, that he was committed to follow through with his intent to pull the U.S. out of the provocative strategic geometry of his predecessors, Bush and Obama. The potential for a realignment organized by Trump, outside the Old Paradigm defined by geopolitics, represents an existential threat to the Trans-Atlantic elites who have used divide-and-conquer schemes and endless regional wars to enforce their designs.3. The onrush of a financial crisis, which combines the threat of the popping of the “everything bubble” with the collapse of a staggering volume of unsustainable debt, has been met by the global financial elites and their central bank operatives by a return to short-term bailouts, and a concerted push for creating a new Green financial bubble. The recent threats by Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, at the U.N. Climate Summit, that those banks and firms which do not accept a Green financial dictatorship will be cut off from credit by central banks, is a key feature of this agenda. Trump’s repeated denunciations of the Federal Reserve policy, combined with his open rejection of the fraud of “man-made climate change”, has heightened the panic of these financial circles that he may respond to the collapse with economic nationalist measures, which reflect the influence of American economist and statesman Lyndon LaRouche. Those behind Russiagate come from the same circles as those who ran the persecution of LaRouche, including William Weld, who is running against Trump, and Robert Mueller, who took over from Weld the running of the Get LaRouche task force.WHY UKRAINE?The excuse for launching the latest impeachment frenzy is the release of a “whistle blower’s” report on a call made by Trump to Ukraine’s new President Zelensky, on July 25. Trump acknowledges that in that conversation, he asked for Zelensky’s aid in investigating leads into the role of Ukrainian networks in setting Russiagate into motion, as well as the involvement of Joe Biden, when he was Vice President, in shutting down an investigation into charges of corruption involving his son, Hunter, who was a board member of a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma. Trump attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who has been looking into a variety of leads involving Ukraine, stated that he began the investigation because he believed “there was a lot of evidence” that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton campaign — which were involved in launching the initial charges against the Trump campaign in the summer of 2016 — “had a close connection to Ukrainian officials.”Among matters under investigation, in addition to the charges of Biden’s personal role in shutting down an investigation into his son’s role at Burisma, by threatening to cancel aid to Ukraine if the prosecutor in that case was not fired immediately, was the surfacing of a “black book”, which was allegedly a ledger of payments to Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort from the Yanukovych government. While this ledger was never produced as evidence, its purported existence was used by Mueller in the conviction of Manafort for money laundering. Manafort’s conviction was the first big success for Mueller. Giuliani said that Manafort’s attorney told him that the “black book” did not exist! In addition to Giuliani’s probe, Senators Grassley and Johnson wrote a letter to Barr saying they will investigate the Ukrainian government’s role on behalf of the Clinton campaign in framing Manafort. “Such allegations of corruption deserve due scrutiny,” they wrote in the letter. While the wealth of details about the leads from Ukraine is beyond the scope of this article, there are several points which must be made (1.). One involves the dirty role played by lead impeachment operative Rep. Schiff, who knew of the charges against Trump before the whistle blower filed his complaint. The whistle blower, who has been identified by the {New York Times} as a CIA official, approached a House Intelligence Committee aide to brief him, before filing his complaint. The aide then reported to Schiff, the Committee chair, raising the question of whether or not Schiff played a role in drafting what was contained in the complaint.Secondly, there is the question raised by Trump of looking into whether CrowdStrike, the firm which claimed it had proof of Russian hacking of the DNC server, which it was supposed to be protecting, had moved that server to Ukraine. There are many reports of Ukrainian hackers having left digital finger prints all over elements of Russiagate, working with networks in the NSA and CIA. The CrowdStrike claim of Russian “hacking” was never proven — in fact, the server was never given to the FBI to investigate, and the only forensic investigation into the charges of Russian hacking, by former NSA Technical Director Bill Binney and associates, demonstrated that the Clinton/DNC files were not hacked, but captured through a download, i.e., were taken as a result of an “inside” job.Third is the simple fact that the Putin-hating networks involved in the Ukraine coup overlap those trying to frame Trump in Russiagate. These include “ex”-MI6 operative Christopher Steele, of the notorious “pee-pee” dossier, funded by the Clinton campaign and the DNC, who worked with State Department official Jonathan Winer, in filing dozens of reports on Ukraine in the period of the 2014 coup; the Soros networks, which provided funds for both the Ukrainian uprising and the anti-Trump insurgency; a variety of anti-Trump neocons; and CIA and U.S. intel operatives, in collusion with Russophobes and Trump regime change plotters John Brennan, the former CIA Director, and James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence. There are reports that both Brennan and Clapper are terrified by the Durham investigation. Brennan has not only been a leading instigator in demanding impeachment, but responded to the latest whistle blower report by calling for more whistle blowers to come forward. In contrast, when he was CIA chief, he took the lead in demanding prosecution of those who blew the whistle on his dirty ops, including torture and illegal spying on Americans.THE TARGET IS RUSSIAAs reported above, the real reason for the attacks on Trump is his commitment to break with the imperial geopolitical strategic arrangement which has dominated the post-Cold War world. He not only campaigned by saying he wished the U.S. to be “friends” with Russia and China, but acted on that from the beginning of his presidency. This is the causus belli for the financial and intelligence establishment, sometimes identified as the “Military Industrial Complex”, or the shadow government. Their goal is not merely sustaining military build-up, and fighting endless wars, but to protect a globalist financial regime of looting and genocidal austerity, not only against the underdeveloped sector, but increasingly against the populations of the Trans-Atlantic region. This global regime is threatened by the collapse of its failed economic policies, but also by the emergence of a alternative, “New Paradigm”, centered around China’s Belt-and-Road Initiative. This New Paradigm is gaining support from many nations, due to its commitment to offer an alternative to the disastrous policies of the IMF and World Bank, through providing credit and technologies for the building of an economy based on advancing a new platform of infrastructure, and using real science to improve the energy-flux density needed for a new era of manufacturing and agriculture. This New Paradigm is very much influenced by the life work in science and economics of Lyndon LaRouche. The possibility that Trump could move against the Old Paradigm, and join with Russia, China and India — as LaRouche proposed prior to the crash of 2008 — represents a real threat to the existing system. The destructive failure of the present system is what provoked the global insurgency against that establishment, typified not only by Trump’s victory in 2016, but by Brexit, the ongoing fight in Italy and Austria, etc. — voters in many nations are rejecting the globalists, and electing leaders who refuse to submit to the post-Cold War geometry. The counter-attack against this insurgency has ranged from falsified prosecutorial efforts and “sting operations”, such as those run by MI6 and the CIA/FBI in Russiagate with operatives such as Josef Mifsud — whose role is under investigation by Barr and Durham, in cooperation with Italy — to false flags, such as the attempt to start a war with Iran, and “Color Revolution” regime change operations, as in Hong Kong. When the prosecutorial House of Cards known as the Mueller report collapsed, panic necessitated a new assault against Trump. While those pushing impeachment, such as Schiff and Nadler are deadly serious in their commitment to disrupt efforts to achieve peaceful cooperation between the U.S. with Russia and China, the present escalation is galvanizing an effort to defeat the putschists, as their latest efforts are increasingly being exposed. The {Washington Times}, for example, in an article titled “John Durham probe goes worldwide to examine spies and their Trump targets,” lays out the deeper strategic implications, which previously had rarely been reported outside of LaRouche publications. The article quotes a former Pentagon spokesman and Trump campaign national security adviser, J.D. Gordon, who said, “The Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a clear attempt to subvert democracy by destroying a presidency and as many people in the president’s orbit as possible….Since the shady origins crisscross the globe from the U.K. to Italy to Ukraine to Australia and beyond, it’s only logical for Barr and Durham to pursue all credible leads and hold those accountable for any crimes they may have committed. Unless those responsible for the abuse of power that created Trump–Russia mass hysteria are punished, that sort of nefarious behavior will become the new normal in our media and politics.”Thus, the real question facing those living in the Trans-Atlantic region, is whether they will step forward to lead the fight against the regime changers and their coup, in defense of the election of Donald Trump and the Constitution, or submit meekly to the genocidalists and allow them cause the likely destruction of life on the planet.END1.) The details known thus far, including an in-depth look at the role of Joe Biden, are available in a report produced by larouchepac, https://larouchepac.com/20190927/concerning-coup-against-trump-some-plain-facts.
