Sergio y Estíbaliz fue un dúo musical español formado por Sergio Blanco Rivas (San Sebastián, 1948 ? ?2015) y Estíbaliz Uranga Amézaga (Bilbao, 1952), ambos cantantes vascos y pareja tanto en lo artístico como en la vida real. ? Orígenes: - Ambos formaron parte del grupo Mocedades en sus inicios, junto a otros miembros de la familia Uranga. - En 1972, se independizaron para formar su propio dúo, Sergio y Estíbaliz, apostando por un estilo más íntimo y melódico. ? Trayectoria: - Su carrera despegó con temas de raíz folk, melodías suaves y letras poéticas. - Representaron a España en Eurovisión 1975 con la canción ?Tú volverás?, alcanzando el 10º puesto y ganando gran popularidad. - A lo largo de los años 70 y 80, publicaron varios discos de éxito, con canciones como Quién compra una canción, Volver, Queda más vida o Mucho más. - En 1993, se unieron al proyecto El Consorcio, junto a otros exMocedades, donde continuaron interpretando clásicos y nuevas composiciones. ? Vida personal: - Sergio y Estíbaliz estuvieron casados durante más de 40 años. - Sergio falleció en 2015 tras una larga enfermedad. - Estíbaliz ha mantenido un perfil bajo desde entonces, aunque sigue siendo una figura respetada en la música española.

“Habemus papam”, fue la frase en latín que precedió a la designación del cardenal argentino Jorge Bergoglio como el nuevo Sumo Pontífice. Fue el 13 de marzo de 2013, tras la renuncia de Benedicto XVI, en el marco del segundo día del cónclave de 115 cardenales electores en la Basílica San Pedro del Vaticano. Aquel día, la fumata blanca de la chimenea anunció la designación de la nueva máxima autoridad de la Iglesia Católica. Bajo el nombre Francisco I, Bergoglio se convirtió en el Papa 266° de la historia, el primero argentino y latinoamericano. “Queridos hermanos y hermanas, les agradezco muchísimo recibirme de esta forma. Ustedes saben que el deber del Cónclave es dar un obispo a Roma. Parece que mis hermanos cardenales han ido a buscarlo casi al fin del mundo”, fueron las primeras palabras de Francisco ante la multitud de casi 100.000 personas que se congregaron a la espera de la designación. La ceremonia formal de asunción fue multitudinaria y se realizó el 19 de marzo de 2013, en la Plaza de San Pedro, donde Francisco recibió el anillo y el palio. Jorge Mario Bergoglio nació el 17 de diciembre de 1936 en una típica familia de clase media baja, en el barrio de Flores de la Ciudad Buenos Aires. Primogénito del matrimonio de los italianos Mario José Francisco Bergoglio y de Regina María Sivori, de niño aprendió a rezar gracias a la enseñanza de su abuela y de las monjas del Jardín de Infantes del Instituto Nuestra Señora de la Misericordia, lugar donde recibió su primera comunión. A los 17 años decidió seguir la vocación sacerdotal y, a los 22, ingresó en el seminario diocesano de Villa Devoto, que era dirigido en ese tiempo por los sacerdotes jesuitas. Luego de un tiempo decidió unirse a la Compañía de Jesús; fue enviado a Chile en 1960 para realizar el Noviciado. Al año siguiente volvió para continuar sus estudios en Humanidades; estudió Filosofía y obtuvo la licenciatura en Teología en el Colegio Máximo de San Miguel. Fue ordenado sacerdote a los 32 años, el 13 de diciembre de 1969, luego de un intenso camino de formación espiritual y en paralelo a un constante desarrollo intelectual y académico. El Papa Juan Pablo II lo nombró Obispo titular de Auca y Auxiliar de Buenos Aires el 20 de mayo de 1992. Su ordenación episcopal fue presidida por Monseñor Antonio Quarracino; luego fue nombrado Vicario Episcopal de Flores y, el 28 de febrero de 1998, asumió la conducción pastoral del Arzobispado. Bergoglio tuvo una gran presencia en la Conferencia Episcopal Argentina, institución que ha presidido durante dos períodos consecutivos, de 2005 a 2011. Recordamos la designación de Bergoglio como Sumo Pontífice a partir de una selección de testimonios conservados en el Archivo Histórico de Radio Nacional. My conversation with Michel Uranga Briñas, a yoga teacher from Cuba, was so vibrant as we took a deep dive into what Kundalini yoga is, and the history behind it. Support the podcast: https://www.patreon.com/wildyogatribe Tell me more about Michel Uranga Briñas Michel Uranga Briñas is a yoga teacher from Cuba who mainly teaches Kundalini yoga, though he occasionally does teach haha yoga. He used to own a yoga studio in Havana, though since the pandemic, his work has been directed towards spiritual retreats on mountain beaches. He has been teaching yoga in Cuba for nine years. Michel began his studies in East Asian therapies and fell in love with Thai massage. He began studying yoga to understand the origin and nature of yogic massage. A short time later, Michel joined a Kundalini Yoga Teach Training in Mexico and then a Hatha yoga teacher training course. In Cuba, as Michel obtained a university degree in Therapeutic Physical Culture. He has also studied Japanese medicine, the Matsunaga shiatsu method, for three years. He then founded AgataYoga, which involves some yoga teachers and therapists who work alongside Michel and offer spiritual retreats. What to expect in the Yoga In Cuba episode of the Wild Yoga Tribe Podcast On the podcast, we talked about what is Kundalini yoga, and why out of all the types of yoga out there, he chose to study Kundalini. Michel feels that Kundalini yoga offers the maximum amount of benefits in the shortest amount of time. Personally, Michel shared that he only practices 5-10 minutes of Kundalini yoga a day, and that is enough to provide the benefits he needs. As he said, “Yoga teachers have more secrets than yoga students— more knowledge.” These secrets help him to get the benefits he needs in mere minutes, just as he finds that his students need an hour or more to really soak up the magic of the practice. I was also grateful that Michel shared with us what it is like to live in Cuba, and the difficulties that creates for him, as a yoga teacher, and for his country as a whole. He was very transparent about what the reality in Cuba is like, and he expressed excitement that yoga in Cuba has been slowly and steadily growing as more and more people are coming to the practice. Abstract: Cell death coordinates repair programs following pathogen attack and tissue injury. However, aberrant cell death can interfere with such programs and cause organ failure. cFLIP is a crucial regulator of cell death and a substrate of Caspase-8. Yet, the physiological role of cFLIP cleavage by Caspase-8 remains elusive. Here, we discovered an essential role for cFLIP cleavage in restraining cell death in different pathophysiological scenarios. Mice expressing a cleavage-resistant cFLIP mutant, CflipD377A, exhibited increased sensitivity to SARS-CoV-induced lethality, impaired skin wound healing and increased tissue damage caused by Sharpin deficiency. In vitro, abrogation of cFLIP cleavage sensitizes cells to TNF-induced necroptosis and apoptosis by favoring complex-II formation. Mechanistically, the cell death-sensitizing effect of the D377A mutation depends on Gln(Q)469. These results reveal a crucial role for cFLIP cleavage in controlling the amplitude of cell death responses occurring upon tissue stress, to ensure the execution of repair programs.
