Am 12. Januar heißt es: erst mal schleppen im Studio 2 des Bayerischen Rundfunks. Ein Marimbaphon, ein Vibraphon, mehrere Trommeln und unzähliges Schlagzeug-Kleinkram sollen aus dem Transporter auf die Bühne. Wenn alles aufgebaut ist, können die drei Brüder Gerassimez loslegen. In einer ungewöhnlichen Besetzung Schlagzeug-Klavier-Cello präsentieren Alexej, Nicolai und Wassily ein vielseitiges Programm mit Solo-, Duo- und Triostücken.

Spring has finally sprung in New York City, so we decided to spend an episode discussing how artists have represented the seasons , using four very different examples: the medieval cathedral at Amiens, 16th-century Netherlandish artist Pieter Bruegel's The Harvesters, François Boucher's series Rococo tour de force called The Four Seasons, and Wassily Kandinsky's abstract quartet of paintings on the same subject.

Wassily Kandinsky, born 1866 in Russia, was a painter, graphic artist and art theoretician. Using strong contrasts in shape and color, Kandinsky makes the disjointedness of the period before the First World War visible.
