On this episode of the Wild & Uncut Podcast, Kristy Titus is in Las Vegas at RMEF's Hunter & Outdoor Christmas in conjunction with the National Finals Rodeo with Quincy Eldridge, CEO of Rodeo Quincy. Descending from a long line of famed, passionate cowboys and cowgirls, and growing up on a picturesque cattle ranch in the Central Valley of California, rodeo is in Quincy's blood. With an impressive rodeo career under her belt, she used her gift of creativity and flair for fashion to create gorgeous collections for Ariat International, Wrangler and more before starting her namesake brand – Rodeo Quincy. At the heart of RQ is a collective of hardworking, faith-filled, and fun-loving cowgirls devoted to bringing the western lifestyle, heritage, and values to mainstream fashion. Among her duties as CEO, Quincy is also a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and a mother. Family means the most to Quincy and many of RQ's designs are inspired by them, particularly her late mother, Sally Marvel Freeman. Sally was a true western fashion icon, and her style legacy lives on in every RQ piece. In 2018, Quincy married the love of her life, a blue-eyed, Nevada cowboy and professional rodeo steer wrestler, Dakota Eldridge. Together, the couple has two young daughters, Sally Lou (4) and Ruby Rosita (2). The family resides in California where they enjoy spending time together with family and friends, traveling, rodeoing, and hunting. This week on the Missouri Woods & Water podcast we take a different look at getting ready for hunting out west. People always talk about what gear to buy, map preparation and study, etc. but one thing that gets lost in the shuffle of getting yourself ready to go out west is the physical aspect of the trip. Western hunting requires a different physical type of exertion and effort, so to help us tackle that topic, Nate and Micah get to talk with Kevin Guillen with Wilderness Athlete about just that. Kevin gets into some things to do to prepare for your western trips, some of their supplements someone can use during that process, and ways to stay ready to go once you are on the mountain. We even talk about some things that don't always have to be healthy in your pack. One thing is for certain, if you were lucky enough to get a tag to hunt out west for the first time, now is the time to start getting your body right and ready. Good luck! On this episode of Wild & Uncut, we sit down with the President & Founder of National Rifle League Hunter Series, Travis Ishida. Being a first generation hunter, it is easy to hear the passion he has for the sport. Being a proficient marksman and understanding what it takes to be successful in his pursuit to provide meat for his family, Travis started NRL Hunter in hopes of other hunters/shooters wanting to take their skills to the next level. Whether you're a first time competitor or it's your hundredth match, the NRL Hunter uses the excitement and stress of competition to create realistic shooting scenarios that will test the marksman and their knowledge of their equipment. The goal of "education through competition" is to help make you the most effective version of yourself; the NRL will surely do just that! NRL's mission statement: Hunting isn't merely a hobby or pastime, it is our way of life. For us, it is about community, education, and a strong foundation of ethical harvesting. It is the desire to be the most proficient hunter possible, it is this passion that has driven us to develop the NRL HUNTER series of matches. Travis is a great person and always a joy to talk with...we even took a little time to talk about the most delicious part of the hunt...the wonderful meat we harvest and bring home to enjoy all year long. Lots of great discussion, you'll enjoy it! ********************************************************************* PRESENTED BY: Ruger: http://ruger.com/ Nightforce Optics: http://nightforceoptics.com/ Dead Down Wind, Trophy Taker Rests, Ramcat Broadheads, Rack One & Tink's: https://www.arcushunting.com/ Safari Club International: https://safariclub.org/ Bear Archery: https://beararchery.com/ Trophy Ridge: https://trophyridge.com/category/sights onX maps: https://www.onxmaps.com/ Kifaru International: http://kifaru.net/ Kryptek: https://kryptek.com/ Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls: https://buglingbull.com/ Tetra Hearing: https://tetrahearing.com/ Wilderness Athlete: https://wildernessathlete.com/ CONTACT KRISTY Website: http://www.pursuethewild.com Pursue The Wild Store: https://pursue-the-wild.myshopify.com/ Social Media Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KristyTitus/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kristytitus/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/KristyTitus Subscribe to Pursue The Wild with Kristy Titus https://www.youtube.com/user/PursuetheWild

There is nothing I love more than partnering with likeminded individuals that have a heart for serving others. Collin Cottrell with High Caliber Hunts absolutely fits that mold and we are excited to come alongside him and see his new venture grow in the great state of Texas.A fellow Midwesterner born in Minnesota, Cottrell picked up hunting at a young age and once he grabbed a bow, a lifelong passion was born. Growing up in the hunting camps that rifle seasons bring in the Northwoods, it was there that he would experience the comradery and fellowship that he wants to take to another level with High Caliber Hunts.Choosing to stay close to home and attend a tech college so that he could continue that passion of hunting, it become clear that a marketing career in the outdoor space was in his future. A chance encounter with Wilderness Athlete and Cam Hanes would get him kickstarted in the archery world and eventually led to he and I connecting over a decade ago at the ATA Show. Starting a marketing firm on the front end of the newest technologies and platforms of the times, Collin is regarded as one of the early pioneers of the digital media era in archery and the outdoors. While not a Veteran himself, Cottrell has many close friends in the community and has seen firsthand the challenges they face and the healing power of the outdoors working in their lives. It's his deep faith in Christ and his servant's heart that is fueling his latest adventure with HCH and the impact is already being felt by attendees. More than your typical hunting camp, Collin's vision is to have authentic, meaningful, conversations with men willing to go there in an effort to be the best versions of themselves. It's hard to put into words how excited I am to see what the future holds for Cottrell and High Caliber. They are a perfect fit for our mission here at HHAUSA and our prayer is that lives will be changed through this new partnership. To connect with Collin and HCH, follow him at @collin_cottrell and @highcaliberhunts on Instagram and visit their website at www.highcaliberhunts.com.
