We look at this new product for kids. The MyFirst Camera 3 16MP Full HD Kids Digital Camera. See more about the product here. MyFirst Camera 3 16MP Full HD Kids Digital Camera reviewed The camera is chunky and durable. The buttons are clear, solid and easy to depress. We bounced between getting 14, 13 and 5 year olds to mess around with it. The preteen got the general gist of it, and was happy enough, and snapping away. The teenagers were then tasked with experimenting and finding out what it could do. Naturally they were pretty good at this, and worked out quite quickly what you could and could not do with it. Our testers, and relevant adults liked the shock proof case too, this is naturally a good idea when you consider the demographic it is aiming at. The photos were definitely good enough, and, as always it does mean you can allow the child to follow their creativity. All the better too on a device that is not also your own personal go-to smartphone. The price of this camera, relative to that of adult smartphones, means this can be quite a smart purchase in many ways, as junior can then be off and away, photographing their drawings to their hearts content. A great stocking filler and a thumbs up from our testers. More details 16MP Digital Camera for Kids with Selfie Lens and included Protective Sleeve. We review the TCL 10L which is part of the new TCL 10 Series. This line-up of Android devices will leverage TCL-made high-resolution displays and the company’s NXTVISION visual technology, each device comes with a high-quality quad rear-camera setup, Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM processors, and more flagship-style features for under €450. The 10 Series includes TCL’s first 5G smartphone and the company’s first device that uses a TCL-made curved AMOLED display. TCL 10L reviewed This is the companies first 5G-enabled smartphone, and for the price, and the power it packs, it’s not a bad effort at all. It also came with a couple of choices of cover, which snuggly and effectively wrapped the phone in a smart and workable way to protect it. It is not too far along the scale in terms of size creep and will, just about, fit into your pocket without too much pain or discomfort. Personally we could probably live with it being a fraction smaller, but it would not be a dealer breaker for most users. A lot of the functions are pretty easy to figure out and pretty soon the younger members of our testing team were already figuring out how to make slowmo sequences and mini animation sequences. The robustness of the phone, combined with it’s pricing, and it’s ease of use does make this a device you would not be uncomfortable with handing over to the younger content creators in the house for their selfies and tick tock moments. The selfies work pretty well, and in terms of photo effects and image editing there is enough here to play around with and learn from for a first time user, with good enough robustness that you can be confident that your younger users will learn plenty on this phone, while also creating some good visual results along the way too. The screen capture option also works pretty well, and has resulted in the phone being used as a workout and yoga viewing device too, so it has nudged creativity and imagination during lockdown too. It will be interesting to see how TCL develops and evolve on their journey into the smartphone market but this is definitely a solid point of entry. See more on their Instagram account here. Mirrorless question of the month: Hi, first of all, a big thank you for the great photography podcasts that you release each month. You guys have become one of my favorite photography outlets :) I’m actually a better painter than a photographer but my question involves both art forms. I paint on large canvas and would like to create high-resolution files of my paintings for archiving and digital post-processing. The paintings are much too large to scan. I own an old Nikon D7000 with 16MP and have been wanting to upgrade to a recent mirrorless camera. I’m looking at Panasonic and Olympus cameras as the 4:3 aspect ratio fits that of my paintings and both cameras have a high-resolution mode that can produce 80MP images from the 20MP sensor. Do you think that the high-resolution mode will enable me to get good quality large files of my paintings or is this just a marketing gimmick? And which lens would you recommend me to get? Question by: Nora from Birmingham, England We have a PPN Photo Podcast Network group at Flickr (click link) that is open to our listeners and photos taken with all mirrorless camera brands. If you want to join just let us know through the "request invitation" button on the group and drop us a quick line there. We'll add you to the group then. And please ask for the invite via the web browser and not via the Flickr App. The invite process via the app has not been working reliably. You can also submit an image using the Instagram hashtag #WeShootMirrorless We have picked our monthly featured photographer and image from the submitted photos. Our monthly We Shoot Mirrorless feature photo and photographer of the month is: Timothy Linn - Title: The Rug Shearer (click here). Please support our show by using our B&H affiliate link (click here) that will not cost you a penny more than when you are buying at B&H without our link. And the more this link will be used to buy at B&H, the more giveaways we’ll be able to give back to our listeners through B&H. It really is a “win-win” situation :) And please share this podcast with your friends and subscribe via iTunes. We would also love to get your feedback. Is there anything that you want us to cover on the show in the future? And we would appreciate if you could take a short moment to rate or post a quick review for our shows on iTunes. And they will introduce mirrorless camera brands by interviewing the respective managers of those manufacturers. They will also invite pro photographers who make their living working with mirrorless cameras to share some tips and tricks about their workflow.

Mehr lesbare Ware anbei: Thunderbolt Technology Community: Thunderbolt™ 3 – The USB-C That Does It All The Verge: Intel admits USB-C is the connector of the future by adopting it for Thunderbolt 3 Nachtrag: Workflow Thema “Shell Outputs”. Multi-Tasking Interesting the new split view two-apps at once thing is only available on iPad Air 2. Oh… I feel a vibration coming from Italy. Might be @viticci stomping his feet and fist-pump like there's no tomorrow. #multiappmode— Patrick Welker (@_patrickwelker) June 8, 2015 Außerdem: Swift 2 Swift 2 ist nun Open Source. Sehr cool. "We paid out 30 billion dollars to app developers". Don't like this angle. It's our money, we pay Apple in fact.— Ortwin Gentz (@ortwingentz) June 8, 2015 Außerdem verkündet Tim, dass der Durchschnittsnutzer 119 Apps installiert hat. One More Thing: Music So I get no new hardware because its a developer conference. When you can kick off a tech podcast with a string of expletives taken right from your publication's teamwide chat records, you know it's been a crazy week in the news. Lenovo's acquisition of Motorola, announced late yesterday afternoon, threw our whole week -and perhaps our whole world- into disarray, and we're grateful for the chance to sit down and talk it through on today's show. But the news doesn't stop there. Galaxy S 5 speculation is still coming fast and furious, with details like Samsung's rumored fingerprint scanner beginning to take shape; we're starting to catch wind of Nokia's plans for MWC 2014 in Barcelona next month; and the wearables sector continues to buzz with developments in Pebble's app store and Samsung's ... interesting approach to augmented-reality headgear. Plus, it's interview time! Ryan Negri, the founder and former CEO of Negri Electronics, stops by to tell us what it's like to start a wireless retail company from nothing, about where he sees the future of wearables going, and just what he thinks about carriers trifling with smartphone pricing. He ... would do things differently. All that and more awaits you on episode 081 of the Pocketnow Weekly! So turn the volume up and rip the knob off: we're here to talk mobile tech, and it's gonna get weird (in all the right kinds of ways).
