Lord of the Rings closes out the greatest trilogy of all-time, MTV makes two incredible debuts in the same week, Ron Burgundy returns to the new, John Grisham strikes again, Disney Disney-fies it's own history, an all-star Hustle, and Bob's Burgers has the best Christmas episodes!
We're back with a new name, What's New to Netflix, and an accidental crossover episode this time around, where we go through all of the new titles coming to Max in October 2023 instead of Netflix. Feeling confused? Don't worry, so were we, but we're seeing this through, as this will be part one of a two-episode special that will be all about stuff coming to Max. Then we review some stuff that's actually on Netflix when we take a look at the philosophical sci-fi alien film Arrival from 2016, starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, directed by Denis Villeneuve. Afterwards, Johnny Depp plays John Dillinger in the gritty historical crime drama Public Enemies from 2009, directed by Michael Mann. And finally, we talk about Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues from 2013, with Will Ferrel reprising his role as Ron Burgundy, directed by Adam McKay. All of this plus, like we mentioned, we totally goofed up and went over everything coming to Max instead of Netflix! What a way to start our new rebranded podcast! Hopefully, if we do something like this again in the future, it will be intentional. But we still think this will be a cool treat for all of you, and if it isn't, let us know! got a suggestion for the show?: whatsnewtonetflix@gmail.com

Now I'm reviewing the sequel to the comedy that changed movies. Anchorman 2 was funnier and better, it had some new characters and new styles too. The news team was now reunited and was better than ever. Ron found Champ as an owner of restaurant and Brian as a photographer and brick thinking he was dead, but not really dead. This one includes crazier things too, such as a shark and much more humor!!! The second one was a bigger hit too, and critics liked it a little more. I'd recommend This movie to anyone. This one brought a whole newer style of humor, and new slapstick too. This is definitely one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Listen to my review please, it would mean so much to me! Thank you!!!

On this week’s episode we’re talking about Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues with our guest John Mannella. Three out of the four of us enjoyed this movie and one of us really thought it was a turd. This might be one of the dumbest comedies of all time. With all the talented and funny people in the movie, how could it be so bad? Was this whole movie improvised? Who was calling for this movie to be made 9 years after the original? How, with 9 years of time to write the script, were these the best jokes they could come up with? This movie is way too long and it is packed to the gills with bigotry and misogyny. My recommendation would be to listen to us and never watch this movie. Guess which one of us wrote the episode description. Enjoy!

We did it. We caught up to Harrison Ford just as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is released. It's something we wanted to do when we started this podcast and it took us 1 1/2 years to do it (coming down to the final hours), but we did it. This episode we cover Harrison's roles in Ender's Game, Anchorman 2, The Expendables 3, The Age Of Adeline and the Fugitive documentary. Hope you enjoy, it's been fun going though Harrison's career in this way. We will continue on with a couple of Force Awakens episodes and whatever else we can think to do with Harrison Ford's career. Composer Andrew Feltenstein and his partner John Nau run Beacon Street Studios. They scored hundred of award winning commercials. They now do a lot for Funny Or Die, including their Emmy® nominated songs for "The Spoils of Babylon". They support he movie by not being funny. Rather they respect the script and play it straight. Making great music allwos Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Judd Apatow to spoof what they set out to do.
