Marley floors vary by dance style – Ballet, tap, and multi-use studios require different traction levels. The Vario Beat floor balances slickness for tap with grip for ballet thanks to its innovative embossing. Proper cleaning is essential – Use pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaners to maintain Marley's surface. Gerriets Vario Care line includes daily and deep-clean products plus a protective finish to extend floor life. Ask questions before installing – Delivery logistics, subfloor prep, and correct flooring choice are key. Gerriets new website specifically for dance floors https://gerrietsdancefloors.com/ makes it easier for studio owners to find flooring solutions and request quotes. Bill's philosophy: The right floor supports dancers' health and enhances performance while lasting for years. S.O.S. (Stories of Service) - Ordinary people who do extraordinary work
In this episode, Stories of Service host Theresa Carpenter talks with Navy SEAL veteran Bill Brown and his attorney Chris D'Alessandro about Bill's firing from McCarter & English. What began with a LinkedIn post reveals a deeper story of alleged discrimination and retaliation tied to Bill's military service and beliefs.Chris breaks down the legal side as Bill shares what it's like to challenge a system that preaches diversity but often excludes veterans.
If you've ever read the Bible and felt tension between different passages, or found yourself in conversation with another Christian only to realize there are unresolvable differences at play, then Bill Brown's new book "acred Tension"is going to be right up your alley. Bill argues that this tension isn't a bug in the system—it's exactly what the Bible is supposed to do. In our conversation, we explore how the diversity of Scripture isn't a liability but rather an invitation to dialogue. From the multiple creation stories in Genesis to the competing voices in wisdom literature, Bill shows us how the biblical editors intentionally preserved these different perspectives to foster conversation among readers. We explore what it means to read Scripture as Scripture—with expectant reverence and critical engagement—and how this approach transforms both our understanding of biblical authority and our practice of faith. This is a conversation about learning to sit with sacred tension rather than trying to resolve it, and discovering how that tension itself becomes a source of wisdom and transformation. You can WATCH the conversation on YouTube Dr. William P. Brown is Professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, where he has taught for over 20 years. He is a leading biblical scholar specializing in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament studies, wisdom literature, and the intersection of faith and critical scholarship. Known for his engaging teaching style and ability to make complex biblical scholarship accessible, Dr. Brown bridges the gap between academic rigor and pastoral formation, showing how critical study of Scripture can deepen rather than diminish faith. In Sacred Tension: Embracing Dissonance and Dialogue in the Old Testament, popular biblical scholar Bill Brown suggests that the diversity in the Bible is in fact one of its greatest strengths, pointing us toward “more” Bible, not less. He invites us to read the Old Testament as a wide-ranging dialogue that is in conversation both with itself and with us, fostering further discussion and mutual discernment. With passion and expert insight, Brown takes you on an enlivening journey through the Bible, exploring its dissonance and complexity anew. Let the conversations begin! This Episode is Sponsored By Scared Tension: Embracing Dissonance and Dialogue in the Old Testament As people of faith, the words of the Bible are sacred. In this episode Will reconnects with Bill Brown, co-founder of Confluence Behavioral Health in Vermont. Since their last conversation in 2019, Confluence has evolved significantly to meet the changing needs of young adults. Bill discusses how today's youth are internalizing their struggles more than ever, shifting from outward expressions of distress to feelings of self-hatred and isolation. Recognizing this change, Confluence adapted its wilderness therapy model by integrating nightly returns to their residential property, increasing accessibility through insurance coverage, and expanding services with Arete Transitions and a new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Burlington. Bill emphasizes the importance of evolving treatment approaches to address the current mental health crisis among young adults. He notes that while the need for mental health services has risen, options have narrowed due to societal shifts and decreased parental willingness to engage in more challenging therapeutic interventions. Through innovative programs and a focus on integrating adventure therapy with clinical practices, Confluence aims to provide effective support tailored to the unique challenges faced by today's youth.

Trevoro Grassi is an independent researcher, studying prehistoric evidence of advanced civilizations, with a focus on the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and the underground of Giza. I've been to over a dozen countries and visited over a hundred different pyramids, temples and sacred sites. I study megalithic stonework, mythology, astrology, math and geometry of ancient cultures in an attempt to reconstruct 'sacred sciences' of the last Golden Age. I've written a book series which is soon to be published and am currently working on a long format documentary series with Bill Brown, called 'The Secret Underworld Of Giza'.William (Bill) Brown is a retired civil engineer turned Gizatologist, who has spent the last 20 years investigating the mysteries of the Giza Plateau. He has been deep underground at Giza many times and in many locations. Bill has also carried out ground penetrating radar scans at many sites at Giza as well as at the Hawara Labyrinth site in the Fayoum Oasis. He has made many discoveries at both sites and is currently leading a project attempting to excavate and access many underground chambers and tunnels at Giza with the IRGE (International Research Group, Egypt) and Mission Pharaoh, an international collection of foundations supporting his work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6o77G5Najg&t=3287sTrevor Grassi: eltaearth@gmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.
