I'm so excited to have Racheal Cook, business growth strategist and founder of the CEO collective, as a guest expert to talk all things TikTok. Why? Well, she isn't a TikTok strategist. She doesn't offer any social media services in her business, and even better—she hasn't even been using it for a full year in her business. Her value in this series is that she is a small business owner—just like you and me—who decided to experiment with TikTok in her marketing. And the results were incredible. When Racheal noticed that TikTok was beginning to gain more popular attention and other demographics besides young GenZers were using it, she knew she needed to ride the wave and utilize TikTok as part of her marketing efforts. But part of Racheal's experiment on the platform was learning how to become a content creator on TikTok in a way that aligned with her values, goals, and felt good for her business. Just as you'll need to figure out what works best for you. I won't give away all her secrets in this introduction, but let's just say that Rachel approaches TikTok differently than many people. She doesn't perform. In fact, her current approach to creating content on TikTok revolves around batched and prerecorded videos. So, if you're curious about how to become a content creator on TikTok, her approach is one option that may work for you, too. ______________________________________ Read the show notes and view the full transcript here: https://erinollila.com/how-to-become-a-content-creator-on-tiktok ______________________________________ Learn about our guest expert, Racheal Cook As an award-winning business strategist, host of the Promote Yourself to CEO podcast, and founder of The CEO Collective, Racheal Cook is on a mission to end entrepreneurial poverty of time, energy, and money for women business owners. Do you feel like you're one failed launch away from your business not surviving? Sadly, so many women's businesses are in ‘entrepreneurial poverty'. What does that mean exactly? Financial poverty: Some businesses are simply not bringing in enough income to support the women who run them. Even if a business is bringing in $50k, the owner may only be taking home $20 – $30k a year, which is not enough to sustain a family or future on. Time and energy poverty: Time and energy poverty go together in the sense that the more time you spend on your business, trying to get it off the ground, the more depleted your energy becomes. The keys to overcoming entrepreneurial poverty? That's exactly what we're covering in today's episode! You'll learn how to plan for your business to be an asset that creates consistent income–not something that you simply just operate and bootstrap. My guest today, Racheal Cook, is an award-winning business strategist, host of the Promote Yourself to CEO podcast, and best-selling author who is on a mission to end entrepreneurial poverty for women. Over the last 10 years she has helped thousands of female entrepreneurs design predictably profitable businesses without the hustle and burnout that doing #allthethings inevitably accomplishes. Her real passion, though, is supporting savvy, soulful women as they implement the strategy, systems, and support to uncomplicate their business so they can work less and live more. What you'll learn in this episode: Why women aren't making nearly as much money as men How to avoid burnout and build up your energy reserves The red flag to look for in your business that's blunting your growth What you need to know about team building and avoiding common mistakes What to do if you don't have any extra money to hire support Subscribe and Review Thanks so much for joining me this week. Angela is with Carrie Green author of the best-selling book ‘She Means Business' and founder of the ‘Female Entrepreneur Association' helping others turn their dreams into reality They discuss why anything is possible if you put your mind to it and how having the courage to go all in and commit changed Carrie's life. Confidence and clarity come from taking action and this is a great opportunity to hear how positive thoughts lead to decisions and outcomes that help you grow, flourish and achieve the right mindset for success. If you get intentional, have the focus and take action you can achieve whatever you want. KEY TAKEAWAYS You can learn how to do anything and if you put your mind to it and apply effort anything is possible Sometimes we have big ideas and then blow them up to a point where they seem impossible Imposter syndrome can be really difficult to overcome Any change needs to come from within yourself Without intention, you are stuck in life Our thoughts and how we feel determine the decisions we make, the decisions we make determine the actions we take and the actions we take determine the outcomes in our lives It was about committing and going all-in with my idea, dancing around the edge of it hadn't worked. Everything became easier when I went all in and everything changed There is always resistance but there is also the point at which you realise you want your life to be purposeful Confidence and clarity come from taking action and telling others gives you accountability The challenges are there to help you grow as a person The purpose of life is to grow and flourish as a person It's about identifying what makes you feel accomplished and will get you a result. Motivation comes from taking action BEST MOMENTS ‘Anything is possible if you put your mind to it' ‘I have a special power because I know how to get the best out of myself' ‘If you are not intentional you are just drifting through life' VALUABLE RESOURCES High Performance Health podcast series Transform your sleep DNA optimization High Performance website Female Entrepreneur Association ABOUT THE HOST Angela Foster Angela is a Nutritionist, Health and Performance Coach. Racheal Cook is the Founder and CEO of The CEO Collective, a membership for women entrepreneurs ready to scale their businesses without the hustle and burnout. She is the author of Amazon best-selling books Fired Up & Focused and our Business Sweet Spot, and hosts the podcast Promote Yourself to CEO. A sought after speaker on entrepreneurship, marketing, and productivity, Racheal's work has been featured on US Chamber of Commerce, Forbes, Fast Company, Inc, Female Entrepreneur Association, and more. When she's not helping women entrepreneurs design predictably profitable businesses, you can find her hiking with her three kids, reading anything she can get her hands on, or working on her next book.TAKEAWAYS:Racheal's superpower is uncomplicating things for her clients. Oftentimes we overcomplicate the methods that we use to get to the goal we've set. Racheal is really good at helping her clients simplify their businesses so they can scale with ease. The secret sauce to Racheal's first 6-figure year was to decide that she was going to work with clients in one way, for one set timeframe, and for a price point that allowed her to get paid in a way that she wanted.Racheal's schedule is dictated by her Model Calendar system. Her week starts with a CEO Date with herself where she evaluates the week ahead and what it entails. Racheal's #1 piece of advice when it comes to hiring team members is hire before you're ready. She always advises this because if you hire someone when you are in the weeds, it makes it a lot harder to actually figure out what to have that team member do, because you're being reactive in your business, instead of proactive.RESOURCES:Check out the blog post that goes along with this episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode191Check out Racheal on her website: https://www.rachealcook.comListen to the Promote Yourself to CEO Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/uncomplicate-your-business/id1030760726?mt=2Get yourself registered for the Sell Everyday [Even When You're Not Working] Masterclass (it's on-demand!) here: https://allison-hardy.ck.page/e22ece86c1CONNECT WITH ME:Join my absolutely FREE Facebook group, The 6-Figure Mompreneur Community: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityFollow me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/allisonhardy2015Follow me on Instagram (I especially LOVE InstaStories!): www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Find me on Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/allison_hardy_ARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you loved today's episode I'd love for you to head to your favorite podcast app and leave us a rating and a review!
