Send me a some feedback!Your emotions are real—but they aren't always telling you the truth. In this episode, Mike Kitko explains why emotions are valuable signals, but the beliefs creating those emotions are often built on stories that no longer serve you. Instead of ignoring your feelings or allowing them to control your life, you'll learn how to decode them and uncover the limiting beliefs buried within your nervous system. Through personal stories from building his coaching business, Mike demonstrates how emotions like guilt, fear, and shame once shaped his decisions—and how changing the beliefs beneath those emotions transformed the way he showed up in business and in life. Key Takeaways1. Your Emotions Are Real—But the Story Beneath Them May Be False Your emotions deserve your attention, not your obedience. They're real experiences, but they're often generated by limiting beliefs that no longer reflect reality. 2. Every Emotion Points to a Belief Fear, guilt, shame, inadequacy, and self-doubt are clues. Instead of suppressing them, become curious about the belief creating them. That's where lasting transformation begins. 3. Your Nervous System Protects Familiar Beliefs Your nervous system isn't trying to make you wealthy, successful, or fulfilled. It's trying to keep you alive by preserving what's familiar—even when those familiar beliefs are limiting your life. 4. Discomfort Often Signals Growth The emotions that arise when you ask for more, receive more, charge more, or become more visible aren't proof you're doing something wrong. They're often evidence that you're moving beyond the boundaries of your current conditioning. 5. Sustainable Success Requires Rebuilding Your Belief System As you reshape the beliefs embedded within your nervous system, your internal world changes first. Your external life naturally begins to reorganize around that new identity and those new beliefs. Notable Quotes"Your emotions are real. They're happening in your body right now. But the story creating those emotions may be completely false. The emotion deserves your attention—the belief beneath it deserves your investigation.""For years I believed that offering my services made me selfish, greedy, and pushy. Those feelings were real, but the belief beneath them was a lie. The moment I changed the belief, offering became an act of service instead of an act of selfishness.""Your nervous system has one job and one job only: to keep you alive. It protects what's familiar, even when what's familiar is keeping you from creating the life you truly want.""Don't ignore your emotions, and don't let them run your life either. Learn to decode them. Every uncomfortable feeling is pointing you toward a belief that's ready to be healed, rebuilt, and replaced.""The quality of your external life will always reflect the quality of your internal operating system. Change the beliefs within your nervous system, and your life begins to change with them."Call to ActionIf this episode challenged the way you've been thinking about your emotions, spend a few moments reflecting on what your feelings have been trying to tell you. Instead of asking, "How do I get rid of this emotion?" ask yourself, "What belief is creating this emotion?" That one question can begin transforming the way you relate to yourself and your life.If you're ready to go beyond awareness and begin rebuilding the beliefs and nervous system patterns that have been shaping your life, join Mike for the Built to Give, Rebuilt to Receive Workshop on August 28–29 in St. Charles, Missouri (just outside St. Louis). Send me a some feedback! Why do so many people sabotage the very success, love, freedom, and fulfillment they say they want? In this episode, Mike Kitko connects two of the most powerful concepts in personal development: your beliefs create your experience, and your nervous system works tirelessly to protect those beliefs by keeping you in familiar circumstances. When you understand how these two systems work together, you'll finally see why lasting change has felt so difficult—and what it really takes to create sustainable success. Mike also introduces the foundation of his upcoming webinar, The Science of Sustainable Success, and explains how retraining your nervous system and releasing limiting beliefs allows you to receive more wealth, happiness, love, fulfillment, freedom, and impact without unconsciously sabotaging yourself. Key Takeaways1. Your Nervous System Prioritizes Survival Over Success Your nervous system has one primary job: keeping you alive. It prefers familiar circumstances—even when they limit your growth. 2. Your Beliefs Create the Life You Experience You don't experience life as it is—you experience life through the beliefs you hold about yourself, other people, and what's possible. 3. Your Nervous System Protects Your Beliefs Even limiting beliefs feel "safe" to your nervous system. Releasing them requires moving through uncertainty until your body learns a new normal. 4. Sustainable Success Requires Internal Change Creating success is one thing. Keeping it requires expanding your capacity to receive it without your nervous system pulling you back to what's familiar. 5. Receiving Requires Letting Go of Old Stories When you release beliefs that no longer serve you, you create space to receive greater wealth, freedom, peace, fulfillment, love, and significance. Notable Quotes"Your nervous system has one job and one job only: to keep you alive. It doesn't care if you're wealthy, successful, happy, or fulfilled. It only cares that you're breathing.""You don't experience life as it is. You experience life as you believe it to be. Your beliefs create your reality.""Your nervous system protects the beliefs you're holding because those beliefs have become familiar—and familiar feels safe.""If you want to experience more, you've got to be willing to believe more. And that means allowing your nervous system to become uncomfortable for a while.""If your nervous system isn't comfortable holding success, it's only a matter of time before you'll sabotage it."Call to ActionIf this episode challenged the way you've been thinking about success, take a moment to reflect on the beliefs you've been protecting and the familiar patterns your nervous system has been working so hard to preserve. Send me a some feedback! What if the only thing standing between you and the life you truly want is permission? In this episode, Mike Kitko explores one of the most profound realizations from his work with entrepreneurs, leaders, and high performers: the people who transform their lives aren't waiting for better circumstances—they finally give themselves permission to become, do, ask for, receive, and feel what they've wanted all along. Through powerful personal stories and client transformations, Mike explains why permission is the gateway to receiving. Whether it's building a dream business, feeling financially secure, expressing your authentic self, or asking for what you want, lasting change begins the moment you stop waiting for someone else's approval and start giving yourself permission. Key Takeaways1. Permission Is the Beginning of Receiving Receiving doesn't begin with circumstances changing—it begins with a decision. The moment you give yourself permission to want, ask for, receive, and feel what you truly desire, your life begins to change. 2. Most People Are Waiting for Permission They Already Have Whether it's starting a business, changing careers, speaking up, or pursuing a dream, many people remain stuck because they're waiting for someone else to validate what only they can authorize. 3. Your Nervous System Will Resist Growth Growth feels uncomfortable because your nervous system prefers what's familiar. Learning to move through that discomfort is part of becoming more receptive to life. 4. Receiving Includes More Than Money Receiving means allowing yourself to experience confidence, fulfillment, peace, security, significance, love, and every other internal state you've been postponing until "someday." 5. You Become Free the Moment You Stop Waiting You don't need permission from your parents, your boss, your spouse, society, or anyone else. The freedom you've been searching for begins the moment you give yourself permission. Notable Quotes"You don't need permission to be who you want to be, to do what you want to do, to want what you want, to ask for what you want, to receive what you want, or even to feel what you'd rather feel. The only permission you've ever truly needed is your own.""I didn't build Melanie's business. I didn't build Corey's business. I didn't build Matt's business. They did all the work. What I gave them was permission—the permission they wouldn't give themselves—and that became the spark that changed everything.""Receiving starts with one single decision, and that's to give yourself permission to want what you want, ask for what you want, receive what you want, feel what you want, be who you want, and do what you want. It all begins with permission.""Sometimes the greatest act of receiving is giving yourself permission to ask for what you want. I don't need anyone else's permission to invite someone into my work—I only need to give myself permission to be on the receiving end of life.""If you do need permission, then consider this your permission to be who you want, do what you want, want what you want, ask for what you want, receive what you want, and most importantly, feel what you want. Why would you settle for anything less?"Call to ActionIf this episode challenged the way you've thought about permission, spend a few moments reflecting on where you've been waiting for someone else to approve the life you already know you're meant to live. Where have you been withholding permission from yourself? What would change if you simply decided that today was the day you gave it to yourself? If you're ready to stop waiting and finally become fully receptive to the life that's calling you, join Mike for the Built to Give, Rebuilt to Receive Workshop on August 28–29, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Send me a some feedback! In this episode, Mike Kitko redefines personal power and explains why it has nothing to do with controlling others. Instead, personal power is built upon three foundational attributes: authenticity, self-trust, and self-acceptance. As these qualities grow, so does your ability to express the highest version of yourself. Mike also explores the three expressions of personal power—emotional sovereignty, emotional courage, and healthy boundaries—and explains why these internal states must first be chosen and received before they can be expressed. Discover how rewiring your nervous system and embracing healthy selfishness can transform both your inner and outer world.Key Takeaways1. Personal Power Begins with Three Internal Attributes Authenticity, self-trust, and self-acceptance form the foundation of personal power. As these internal qualities grow stronger, your ability to express your highest self naturally expands. 2. Personal Power Is Expressed Through Emotional Mastery Emotional sovereignty, emotional courage, and healthy boundaries are the outward expressions of someone who has cultivated true personal power. These qualities allow you to remain grounded regardless of external circumstances. 3. Healthy Selfishness Is Required for Personal Growth Increasing your personal power requires putting your own growth, peace, and well-being first without intentionally harming others. Healthy selfishness allows you to protect your energy while becoming the highest version of yourself. 4. Your Nervous System Must Learn to Receive New Internal States Confidence, authenticity, self-worth, and personal power are not achieved through external success. They become your reality when you repeatedly choose, practice, and receive these elevated emotional states until your nervous system accepts them as your new normal. 5. Your Inner World Always Creates Your Outer World Lasting transformation doesn't happen by chasing external accomplishments. It happens by upgrading your beliefs, emotions, and internal quality of life first, allowing your external world to naturally evolve as a reflection of your inner state. Notable Quotes"Personal power has nothing to do with hurting other people in the world. Personal power has everything to do with who you become in the world. And who you become is really the greatest version of yourself if you continue to upgrade and level up in your personal power.""Someone who is increasing and experiencing higher levels of personal power becomes radically authentic. They have no issues expressing who they really are in this world. They're the same person behind closed doors as they are in public, and they allow the people who love that version of them to lean in.""Real emotional courage is the willingness to feel any and all emotions and still be okay. It doesn't mean you don't have fear—it means you're not a victim of your emotions, and your nervous system becomes your servant instead of your master.""You can't achieve this. You can't accumulate this. You can't accomplish this. No one can give it to you. No one can gift it to you. This is something you must receive in your mind and body. It's a proactive choice, not a consequence of something outside of you.""Most people keep moving the goalposts because they're trying to feel these things as the consequence of achievement instead of choosing and receiving them first. These internal states are the cause—not the effect—of creating a higher quality life."Call to ActionIf this episode challenged the way you've thought about personal power, spend a few moments reflecting on where you've been giving your power away. Where have you been hiding your authenticity? Where have you stopped trusting yourself? Send me a some feedback! Most people are living in survival mode without realizing it. It shows up as constant pressure, stress, and the feeling that everything needs to be managed just to keep life from falling apart. But there's another way to operate. When you develop awareness, use the right tools, and retrain your nervous system, you can move into pressureless productivity—where you still build, create, and grow without carrying that constant internal weight.Key Takeaways1. Most people are stuck in survival mode Even when basic needs are met, the body stays in a state of pressure, scanning for problems and trying to maintain control.2. Pressure isn't required for productivity You can still build, create, and move forward without relying on stress and urgency as your primary driver.3. The four existential drives shape your life Survival, self-indulgence, freedom, and meaning all need to be integrated—not just one or two.4. Awareness, tools, and a new approach are required Shifting out of survival mode takes conscious retraining, not just understanding.5. The DRILL method creates real change DRILL. Drop into your body, Recognize what your feeling, Inquire into the feeling, Listen to what they are trying to tell you, and Let them go—then take action from a grounded, pressureless state.Notable Quotes “Most people are living in survival mode and don't even realize it.” “Pressure isn't required for productivity.” “People will buy their way out of pain before they buy their way into possibility.” “You don't need pressure to build—you need a different way to operate.” “You can move from pressure-filled hustle to pressureless productivity.” Call to ActionIf you're ready to move from pressure-filled hustle to pressureless productivity…Reach out to Mike Kitko at mike@innerwealthglobal.comMike's Media:Website: https://www.innerwealthglobal.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mikekitkoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_kitkoTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mikekitkoSubscribe to my YouTube: / @mikekitko

Send me a Text Message! Many people struggle to receive. Whether it's wealth, love, success, or support, there's often an internal block that keeps what they desire just out of reach. In this episode, Mike Kitko explores the connection between mindset, heartset, and the ability to receive fully. He dives deep into why so many feel unworthy, undeserving, or like they have to earn everything before they can have it. True abundance comes when a person aligns their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions with what they want, rather than unconsciously repelling it. If you've ever felt uncomfortable accepting help, opportunities, or even compliments, this episode will challenge you to open your heart and finally allow in what you've been waiting for.Key TakeawaysMindset and heartset work together—thoughts and beliefs direct what you create, while emotions determine what you attract. Most people unconsciously block receiving because they don't feel worthy, significant, or capable of holding what they desire. It's not better to give than to receive—giving and receiving are equally important, and resistance to receiving is resistance to abundance.Struggle, over-effort, and constantly trying to prove yourself keep you from allowing what you want to flow in effortlessly. The gap between what you want and what you have is created by your own perception of what you deserve and are ready for.Notable Quotes“If you don't feel worthy of wealth, love, or success, you will unconsciously block it—even when it's right in front of you.”“Your thoughts and beliefs are the prayers for what you want, but your emotions are the magnet that draws it in.”“The discomfort you feel when someone gives you something is the exact thing that's keeping you from receiving at higher levels.”“You don't take action to create—creation happens when you get clear. You take action to receive.”“You don't have to earn, prove, or struggle to deserve more. Send me a Text Message!Personal power isn't something external—it's the ability to trust, believe in, and fully own who you are from the inside out. In this episode, Mike Kitko shares his personal journey from self-destruction and internal bankruptcy to radical self-mastery and empowerment. He breaks down the four voices that shape your life—three that disempower you and one that fuels your highest potential. Most people try to chase wealth, success, and external validation to cover up deep-seated feelings of insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance, but true power comes from dissolving these inner conflicts, not masking them. If you've ever felt like you're not enough, not worthy, or stuck in patterns of self-doubt and struggle, this episode will challenge you to look within and step into the highest version of yourself.Key TakeawaysYour external world is a reflection of your internal state. If you don't feel powerful inside, no amount of wealth, success, or validation will change that. The three voices of survival mode—Insecurity, Inadequacy, and Insignificance—keep you trapped in fear and self-doubt. Recognizing them is the first step toward dissolving them. The voice of inspiration is the only voice that leads to true power. It tells you that you are enough, worthy, and capable of anything you desire.Personal power comes from self-mastery. Healing internal conflicts and rewriting the stories you tell yourself is how you unlock real freedom, wealth, and success. You were not put on this earth to play small. The world needs you to step into your power and make an impact.Notable Quotes“Personal power isn't built by chasing success—it's built by mastering yourself.”“Insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance are the voices that keep you small. When you silence them, you become unstoppable.”“Nothing outside of you can fix what's happening inside of you. If you don't believe in yourself now, no achievement or external success will change that.”“True freedom, wealth, and success are unlocked when you own who you are and step fully into your personal power.”“Are you personally powerful, or are you still living in the feelings of insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance?”Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsClick here to access details about the February 21-22, 2025 in-person Choose Your Destiny Live Intensive just outside of St. Louis, MO.Click here to visit our website to access free tools and resources, our Meditation Bundle, upcoming events, and our coaching service offerings. My Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mikekitkoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_kitkoTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mikekitkoSubscribe to my YouTube: / @mikekitkoMike Kitko is an executive self-mastery coach, speaker and author. Are the relationships in your life truly serving you? I invite you on a journey where we challenge the conventional idea of friendships and uncover the hidden value of buying allies. This is your host, Mike Kitko, and throughout this episode, we will redefine what a healthy circle should look like and why focusing on relationships that add genuine value to our lives is crucial. The concept of buying friends might seem negative at first, I once heard Chris Rood offer a fresh perspective on why building a network of allies, rather than just friends, can greatly enhance our lives. We will also delve into the idea of attention as the most valuable currency and how giving and receiving love and attention can nurture a more meaningful relationship. My wife and I make sure to infuse this principle into our coaching services, going the extra mile to support our clients well beyond usual business hours. We talk about the significance of establishing deep connections with our clients, turning them into allies. This isn't just about socializing but about creating a network of like-minded individuals who mutually drive growth and success. I'll share my realization about how clients often offer deeper, more purposeful relationships. Remember, your allies reflect the quality of your life. So many people struggle with money. Almost all problems with money can be traced back to a poor money mindset and an unhealthy relationship with money. Have you ever been told that wanting is selfish? How about wanting wealth is greedy? Or that there's a point where you have enough? If you believe, or if you've been taught that wanting is selfish or greedy, or if you feel guilt or shame whenever you want more, you're likely dealing with some unconscious stories about selfishness which are causing you to struggle more than necessary. If you want to create real wealth, practice healthy selfishness. The primary elements of this episode are:From the ages of 0-7, you'll believe anything you're taught by people you love and admire. You'll even believe that wanting or wanting more than you need is selfish if that's what they believe. This can set you up for a life of financial struggle and hardship. Financial margin is a requirement to live financially free, and creating margin in your life is the way to live a full life rich with experiences and adventure. Without financial margin you'll remain in survival mode. There is not a lack of money in the world. The amount of money in the world expands as people create wealth. We can all be wealthy together, but beliefs about selfishness and greed keep people from fully experiencing the abundance that is available to everyone.Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks & Resources:If you're open to support in creating more wealth, success, and happiness in your life and business, connect with Mike Kitko and the Inner Wealth Global team by clicking here to submit your information. Robert Blase is currently a Real Estate Agent who actively serves the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, as well as countless educators in and around Colorado. Before the economic crash of 2008, Robert was a successful mortgage professional, but the financial chaos caused him and his family to lose everything, and eventually file for bankruptcy. While fighting for the economic survival of his family, Robert and his wife miscarried two children due to the overwhelming stress. Even though he applied for hundreds of positions without coming close to employment and with the odds stacked against him, Robert persistently and resiliently entered the Real Estate Agency game and won. He relentlessly worked his way in the door to become known and trusted by the Colorado Rockies for his impeccable integrity, and that has enabled him to close millions of dollars in properties on behalf of Rockies players and other professional athletes. His commitment and grit enabled him to payoff his bankruptcy, over $50k in student loan debt, hit the reset, and begin to build real wealth for his family. The primary elements of this episode are:Robert discusses crushing it in mortgages during the hot markets in the mid-2000's, then losing everything and filing bankruptcy because of the economic collapse. His family needed to live with his wife's grandmother for 11 years while they rebuilt their lives. When he couldn't get a job, Robert chose to enter the Real Estate Agent game, and that's where he met success because of his unwillingness to quit, and his unwavering commitment to serve his clients and provide for his family.Today Robert is serves and supports Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos players during transition, but also when they choose to purchase their mansions. I am a massive consumer of books and content. I like to share the very best of what I consume with the people I love and serve. I recently read a book titled Be Your Future Self Now by Dr. Benjamin Hardy. This is a great book, and succinctly shares some personal development wisdom in a clear and powerful way. But there was one line in this book that hit me hard. Dr. Hardy suggested to "Fail as your future self instead of succeeding as your current self" so that you can grow into the person capable of creating that powerful future. The primary elements of this episode are:I discuss the power of creating a vision for your future life. If your quality of life is not doubling every 3-5 years, then you're not dreaming big enough. Get clear about what an amazing future life looks like for you so that you can get to work. You are not capable of creating that new life. You - as you are currently designed - created this life. You must become the person capable of creating that life. Get clear about what must evolve and develop in order to create the new circumstances. Wake up each day as that new person. Be that new version of you, now. But don't be surprised if you fail as the new you. It's better to fail as the future you instead of succeed as the current you. That's how you learn to succeed as the future you to create the new future.Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks & Resources:If you're open to support in creating more wealth, success, and happiness in your life and business, connect with Mike Kitko and the Inner Wealth Global team by clicking here to submit your information. In this recording of a live training from July 13, 2023, I share a fun process to create anything you want. This training was pushed out to all of my social media platforms. We aim to do one of these each month. This training is not about goal achievement, but raising the quality of your entire life. Implementing these teachings will change your life. If you like this training, connect with me on social media and attend future sessions! The primary elements of this episode are:There is a simple process to create anything you want. When you get clear about what you want in your life, and who you need to become to create that life, you'll start to see life moving you in that direction. Your current beliefs, thoughts, emotions, actions, and habits got you here, and the same won't get you to higher level circumstances in your life. When you change your personality to become your future self now, you'll begin to create the new life you want. Waking up each day as your future self, and taking action as your future self will unlock everything that your current self can't create, but your future self can easily create in your life - now. Of course you know that you must take action to accomplish your vision and goals, but have you ever noticed the psychological distance to your goals? The psychological distance is the internal resistance you experience when considering your goals or what you want to accomplish. When you dissolve the psychological distance, the tactical distance (the actions required) become much easier, and require less intensity. Make the psychological distance go away, and your desired outcomes become inevitable. The primary elements of this episode are:The tactical distance to your vision/goals is about 5% of the total distance to your vision/goals, while the psychological distance is the remaining 95%. Hustle whores and grind gurus tell you to work harder (on the 5%) while the smarter way of approaching accomplishing anything is to work just as hard or harder on closing the psychological distance by letting go of all doubt and internal resistance to your goals. The letting go process is noticing any stories you're holding about why you can't have what you want now, and watching them dissolve in your mind. This also releases emotion which was buried underneath the story.Releasing internal resistance makes all action more intense and effective.Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks & Resources:If you're open to support in creating more wealth, success, and happiness in your life and business, connect with Mike Kitko and the Inner Wealth Global team by clicking here to submit your information. In my life, whenever I've gone all-in on anything, as in total commitment, I've succeeded. Whenever I withhold my full commitment, I never get the results I desire. Commitment is an energy which allows you to focus and perform on the present moment, and the task at hand. Commitment creates luck, and desiring an outcome while not being fully committed is not actually being committed at all to the outcome. This includes professionally, financially, relationshionally, with health, or any other desired outcome. Go all-in and you'll crush it. The primary elements of this episode are:Commitment means 100% committed. 99% commitment equals 0% committed. You're either committed or not. There is no middle ground. In my life I might say I want to be healthy and fit, but eat and drink crap. That is not being committed to being healthy and fit, but committed to eating and drinking crap. Just be honest about what you're committed to and go all-in.Commitment creates a high level of certainty to a specific outcome. When you're committed you eliminate anything that interferes with that outcome. When you're not committed, you allow excuses and distractions to show up to interfere with your stated objective.Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks & Resources:If you're open to support in creating more wealth, success, and happiness in your life and business, connect with Mike Kitko and the Inner Wealth Global team by clicking here to submit your information. When you get clear on what you want in your life, you'll see that life begins to line things up so that you get what you want. When you choose your destiny and go all in, you'll see that you've always had the power to create the life of your dreams and move the needle on every circumstance in your life. This takes clarity, action, and commitment. Choose to have it all. The primary elements of this episode are:In episode 100, my wife Angie said that when I decided to begin to live life on my terms, that's the first time she realized I had a backbone, and that's when she decided to opt into my dream. When you get clear about what you want and choose to create it, the right people opt in and the right people opt out. I didn't have to think hard at all about how I wanted to celebrate episode 100 of this podcast. If you've listened to other episodes you've heard me talk about my wife, Angie Kitko, and how we went from an abusive relationship to an absolutely powerful bond! In this episode Angie and I discuss the pain of our past relationship, and we also discuss the absolute magic of our commitment, connection, friendship, and the rebirth of our love affair. It's a privilege and honor to introduce Angie to world, and I can't think of any better way to celebrate this awesome milestone. To everyone who have supported this podcast, thank you from the bottom of my heart! The primary elements of this episode are:The traditional relationship is based on unhealthy expectations of each other, and is full of manipulation, self-centeredness, and codependency. Angie has labeled these types of relationships manipulationships, not relationships. To begin to heal our marriage, Angie and I had to go to our neutral corners, heal our own unhealed trauma and pain, and only then could we form something powerful - right out of a fairy tale. Our connection and bond now is based on trust, integrity, inspiring each other, and helping each other savor life in the perfect way for the individual. Each of our "perfect" ways look much different, so we must give up trying to get the other to be who we want them to be. We must engage our own dream, and then help the other engage their own dream. Stress is not linked to success. Sure, there are plenty of individuals who succeed at very high levels and endure massive amounts of success, but that doesn't need to be the case. When we delink them in our belief system and manage both separately, we can create exceptional results without destroying ourselves. Stress is a sign that you are not engaging and managing your nervous system in a way that allows you to experience life from a place of creation instead of survival. The primary elements of this episode are:Stress and success can be managed uniquely. This takes first understanding that we need to tend to them both differently at the same time. Our sympathetic nervous system is responsible for flooding our bodies with cortisol, adrenaline, and norepinephrine when danger shows up in our lives, but most people become addicted to these chemicals because our sympathetic nervous system never shuts off. This happens because of the environment and the abundance of stimulus in today's society. When we allow ourselves to see a new future for ourselves and to feel like we are currently living in those circumstances, we can reengage and turn up the volume of our parasympathetic nervous system so that we can experience calm, peace, and internal harmony. This is when we can be most powerful in creating even higher level results. Most people are running hot. Maybe they don't own their calendar and schedule and are a slave to someone else's expectations of their time, maybe they run thin financially, maybe they make poor health choices most days, or maybe they have no relationship capital built up, so they recieve guilt and shame for addressing other priorities. You can have it all, but you must stop running hot. You must create margin in your life and business. The primary elements of this episode are:I used to run super hot, with very little downtime or replenishment and restoration time. My entire life suffered because I thought running hot was how to become successful. On a car, the RPM gauge shows you where the car is in the danger zone, and that is where there is the presence of unnecessary stress on the machine. Most people are running well in the red. Spend time creating margin in your life so that you can breathe. Running hot is only necessary when you're living someone else's dream - not your own. Success without the stress is my goal, everyday. You are only limited by the way you perceive yourself and the way you perceive life. When you see yourself and life differently, life for you will change. In this first-ever Inner Wealth Global live-stream training, we discuss these among other powerful concepts which - when embraced - will literally change the way you experience life. The primary elements of this episode are:You are not your thoughts, emotions, or circumstances, but the perceiver of them. The more distance you put between your real self and your thoughts, emotions, and circumstances, the more powerful life will become for you.You get to choose who you are in each and every second. No one and nothing else gets to decide this for you. You are only limited by your perception of yourself right now. Change your perception of yourself, and life changes accordingly. The more you think, act, and feel as a future version of yourself, the more you let go of who you've been. You never need to wait to be the person you intend to become. You are going to die, everyone you love is going to die, anything you build will crumble, and any legacy you leave will be forgotten. Don't take anything seriously. If you're not having fun, you're doing it all wrong.Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks & Resources:If you're open to support in creating more wealth, success, and happiness in your life and business, connect with Mike Kitko and the Inner Wealth Global team by clicking here to submit your information. In 2016 I hit the reset on my life and started all over from scratch. Up to that point I had lived my life the way everyone else taught and expected of me, and that had caused me to try to be who I wasn't for the sake of pleasing others. I lived my life according to their "shoulds" in life. After I pulled the barrel of the gun out of my mouth I decided to never live according to anyone else's programming and conditioning again, and that's when I designed a life perfectly suited for me, by me. The primary elements of this episode are:Between the ages of 0-7, you'll believe anything you're taught about God, money, health, marriage, career, or "how life works." It's not that any of it is true, but because you believe it you'll set out to prove it to be true. The reason people have different perspectives is because of their programming, conditioning, and experiences. When you don't question what you've learned or seen modeled, you'll repeat it - even if it brings you pain. When you choose to live a purposeful and intentional life, you get to take inventory of your talents, desires, and the life perfect for you, then set out to create the perfect life for you to serve in the perfect way suited for your natural talents.Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks & Resources:If you're open to support in creating more wealth, success, and happiness in your life and business, connect with Mike Kitko and the Inner Wealth Global team by clicking here to submit your information. I had an interesting discussion with a guy who was only building his business because he thought he was "supposed" to build this business. He signed up for a program that told him how to do it "right." Instead of inquiring what he really wanted, the guru encouraged him to want what the guru is currently building. But the guru conveniently forgot to ask the student what he really wanted in life and business, and why. Sadly, the guru just encouraged him to follow his approach as the only way. This student never asked himself the simple questions, "What do I really want and why?" The comparison or coercion trap is a powerful tool to get you out of your authentic path. The primary elements of this episode are:There are 8 billion people on the planet, and not everyone wants the same things. I'd even say that if we are all being true to ourselves, we'd all want 8 billion different lifestyles and circumstances. Humans are creatures of conditioning, and it's easy to succumb to the comparison or coercion traps when goal setting, vision casting, or creating our life and business. Take time to understand what you really want, and why. If anything you want is based on insecurity, inadequacy, or insignificance, fix those internal conflicts first. Then you'll discover what you really want, and you won't be coerced to want something just because someone else does.
