Mark Levin Podcast

On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, Democrats are not just the only concern, radio/TV hosts, podcasters and journalists are part of a larger issue. It is unacceptable that many of these hosts, who promote left-wing agendas or toxic conservative, lack a true understanding of the conservative movement, its principles, and its history. William F. Buckley Jr. founded National Review because he recognized the importance of quality journalism, a value that seems to have diminished in today's media landscape. Buckley identified the toxic elements within the conservative party and took extraordinary measures to combat that toxicity and the radical left. Buckley had a profound realization, one that resonates with us today: the destructive influence being wielded to spread hatred and undermine our faith and nation through our media and publications. Buckley was Catholic, and he did everything to reject the antisemitism that is growing in our nation. He said that we had to stop it, because it has a way of metastasizing into something dangerous and rejects all forms of antisemitism as a result. In addition, a terrorist attack at a UK synagogue in Manchester killed two people and injured many was devastating. The antisemitism continues to grow as it is being fueled by radical people in power and other countries. Qatar is trying to turn our own people against us by taking over our schools, funding and supporting Hamas and other terrorist front groups. This is a serious problem, and it is not just affecting our country, it is affecting other nations as well. This is what fuels these attacks, and it is disgusting and sick. Finally, Jack Ciattarelli calls in to discuss his race for NJ Governor against radical Mikie Sherrill. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Jim shares the intriguing idea of the classroom as a theater, expanding on how storytelling and engaging students in physical space can create a conducive learning experience. Together they explore the significant impact of theater training on effective communication and why students, especially in their high school years, can benefit from acting classes. Matthew recounts a compelling audition anecdote from his time at the Guild Hood School of Music and Drama, which sets the stage for a discussion on improvisation and its role in developing students' quick thinking and creative problem-solving abilities. Cyndi reflects on the difficulties of encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and shares a heartening story of a reluctant participant's transformation. Highlighting strategies to support shy students, Jim provides practical advice and emphasizes the creation of low-pressure participation opportunities. To conclude, the episode provides Jim Devivo's top three tips to promote creativity in the classroom, emphasizing the power of diverse perspectives, student involvement, and the magic of embracing silliness.  About Dr. Jim Devivo:  Dr. Jim DeVivo is a specialist in youth-driven theatre. Today is Thursday, so we have our weekly get-together with Howie Klein of DownWithTyranny.com and the Blue America PAC. Last week, you may recall, Howie brought along a guest --Jersey City Mayor and already declared-candidate for NJ Governor in 2025 Steven Fulop. The conversation concerned the race to replace corrupt Sen Bob Menendez from NJ. Fulop had reversed his endorsement of Tammy Murphy (wife of NJ's current governor who's being term limited out of office) in favor of Congressman Andy Kim. Hmm, Murphy dropped out of the race just a couple of days later.... Today, among other stories, I'll ask Howie about his experience with the former senator/would-be spoiler (via No Labels), and why his VP candidacy with Al Gore at the top of the ticket was the first time Howie didn't vote for the Democrats in a presidential election. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/nicolesandler/message

Howie Klein of DownWithTyranny.com has done a weekly segment with me on this show for more than a dozen years now. We mostly talk politics, often music and occasionally other subjects too. And fairly regularly, Howie brings along a guest. It's usually one of the Blue America-endorsed candidates, but today's guest is slightly different. Steven Fulop is the Mayor of Jersey City. Tonight he'll deliver his 11th State of the City address. He's already announced his candidacy for NJ Governor; that election happens in November of 2025. So you might ask, "why today?". Well, that has to do with his endorsement in the race to replace corrupt Senator Bob Menendez (who hasn't yet announced whether he'll run for re-election. I think it's a safe bet to say if he did, he'd lose, badly.). Anyway, Mayor Fulop this week withdrew his endorsement of Tammy Murphy, the wife of NJ's current Democratic Governor Phil Murphy, and threw his support to Congressman Andy Kim. We'll discuss that and a lot more. But we open the show with a big breaking news story for which I must thank AG Merrick Garland! I'm vindicated in my dislike of Apple products as the DOJ filed an antitrust suit against them for their monopolistic practices, especially concerning iPhones! It's about damn time! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/nicolesandler/message
