DAVID! David Waldman hasn't washed his clothes in days, but you can hardly tell that on today's podcast. GREG! And Greg Dworkin bellies up to the bar with another raft o' stories. If actor George Wendt had ever run for office, he would have been the one most voters would have wanted to have a beer with. RIP Rep. Gerry Connolly, although even that won't give him enough seniority to head some House committees. The TLDR bill is stuck while Gops who say they'll vote no but will definitely vote yes say they'll vote no. Sure, they will be wrecking the economy for people in the short run, but in the long run they will really wreck the economy for people, with the exception of those people that they will kill. Thomas Massie isn't falling in line at the moment, and at this moment Trump is mad about that. Donald won't keep his bib on... and keeps throwing his food on the floor... and keeps screaming… Oh for God's sake, just let him have his toy already! Maybe then he'll shut up and tell us his “new numbers” that he learned. What a smart boy! Ashli Babbitt's lawyers scored a big payday. Sure, beats working… maybe they can get the money directly from the police officers' families? On the other hand, police won't be held responsible for any future killings. An FBI Agent goes public with a Russian intelligence operation that hooked Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, while American intelligence is being rewritten to not incriminate Donald K. Trump. Joe Kent, who likes more those more MAGA friendly intelligence reports, has been cast as Trump's pretty boy to direct the National Counterterrorism Center. Amazingly, we are still allowed to have elections. Gops fight to flip a NY Senate seat in a blue territory that Trump won in. Meanwhile, “reform DA” Larry Krasner won his primary on his way to his election in Philadelphia.

This week, Sara brings us Constance Baker Motley - The first black woman to try a case before the Supreme Court, to serve in the NY Senate, to be elected Manhattan Borough President, to be appointed to a Federal Judgeship and to be promoted to Chief Judge. This powerhouse Broad was the role model for many of today's most prominent women of color in the Judiciary branch including Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and Vice President Kamala Harris, and it's NO WONDER! Constance not only wrote the brief for Brown vs. Board of Education, she also represented clients in almost all of the most prominent desegregation, fair housing, and other civil rights cases of the time, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. after his arrest in Birmingham, winning 9 of the 10 cases she took to the Supreme Court. All the way from South Central, I got my guy Ecko kicking it with me on the podcast dropping all types of knowledge, stories, and truth in this week's episode. Find out how he became Freeway Rick Ross's manager, his rise as the local mixtape man in the barbershops to creating his own entertainment company and being behind the scenes of many ventures along the way. (6:00) Mixtape Pirate: When Ecko caught his first case, that was all the motivation he needed to turn up his business acumen. Being in the Law Library taught him brand new business terminology. (17:30) Xclusive Music: From selling music and DVDs in the barbershops, with the help of Fred Walker, Ecko got his first storefront and that place changed the game in his city. Lost Opportunities and Transitions: Little do many people know, Ecko had exclusive access to a well known local venue but that ended due to an ill-advised conversation. Then when his music store essentially became obsolete he had to make some new moves happen for himself. (38:20) Bobby Shmurda/Rap On Trial: Bobby came home and hasn't lived up to his pre-incarceration hype. In the NY Senate politicians work with rappers to pass a law that prevents rapper lyrics to be used against them in court. Is this a great idea? Or simply a way to protect rappers that don't make good decisions? (53:10) Freeway Rick Ross: After being reluctant to meet him, Ecko tells the story of how he became Freeway Rick's road manager. After being gone and traveling the country for the past 5 years, he doesn't regret it one bit. (1:1100) Battle Rap World/Plug: After attending Smack/URL's Super Fight 6 event at the top of the year, Ecko was up to his networking ways and might have something up his sleeve in battle rap culture after spending years in Hip-Hop as an event promoter. Quantum Quote: “We need to put a sunset on fossil fuel use in our homes.” – Bill Nowak   Are you aware that an average person in the United States emits 16 tons of climate-disrupting carbon dioxide every year? Even the way natural gas has been advertised for decades doesn't actually reflect the truth at this point of time!   Statistics say that heating oil and gasoline are about 1 ½ times as problematic as natural gas. BUT - natural gas emits methane, which is much more dangerous on a 20 year time frame than it is on a 100 year time frame - about 86 times as bad of a climate gas than carbon dioxide is! Natural gas is about twice as problematic as we thought it was - and it is worse for the climate than heating oil.   Every time a new building that uses fossil fuels is built, we're actually locking ourselves into a continuously worsening climate change for about 20-30 years more. Just like what the scientists have predicted, the frequency of various weather catastrophes and the damage we face alongside these events are now getting bigger and more intense.   Do you know that 2020 holds the record for being the largest year of $1 billion weather catastrophe damage, and the last hurricane Ida this year caused $50 billion of damages?   Today is when we either do something about climate change or suffer the devastating consequences. Geothermal has a really huge role to play in reducing climate impacts.. Geothermal is the most efficient way of heating and cooling, and we need to start this transition now!   Check out this week's AWESome EarthKind Energy podcast where we interview Bill Nowak, the Executive Director of New York – Geothermal Energy Organization (NY-GEO).   Bill Nowak is a former NY Senate staffer, Labor organizer for CWA, and has been the ED of NY-GEO since its inception in 2014.   NY-GEO represents stakeholders in the geothermal heat pump industry, and Bill does this work for everybody who comes after him.  He and his friends are seeing the horrors that await us with climate change – the suffering of humankind – and this made him involve himself as he takes part in trying to lessen the suffering humanity is facing nowadays.   Watch a free webclass Power of Earth by Climate Master  to discover how easy it is to get ultra-efficient geothermal heating and cooling installed in your home – without the pain of emptying your savings account.    In the Power of Earth by Climate Master you'll discover the answers every homeowner needs to know, including: How geothermal heating and cooling can draw energy from the ground beneath our feet (for pennies) Why homeowners everywhere are making the switch The secrets to securing utility incentives and tax credits to pay for a large portion of your new geothermal system and much more…   If you are tired of rising energy costs and want to save up to 70% on your energy bills, download the FREE special event that will show you exactly how to get geothermal heating and cooling installed in your home. Do you want to increase your climate impact by a factor of 1,000? Then pick up your phone today and call your United States Congressional Representative and both your US Senators and ask them to support the federal “Build Back Better” bill. “Build Back Better” will create the largest climate protection action in American history. Because so few people take the time and make the effort – our elected representatives interpret the opinion of everyone who calls or writes as representing the views of 1,000 other citizens. During the week of Sept. 27th, Congress will vote on the “Build Back Better” bill that aims to get the country to 80% pollution-free electricity by 2030 and cut climate pollution 100% by 2050. The "Build Back Better" bill provides tax incentives for solar, wind, energy-efficiency, electric cars, charging stations, and more; and it will finally cut subsidies for fossil fuels. It will also drive major investments into communities that have been disproportionately hit by environmental injustice. After you make the calls, spread the word via social media by posting images of a large red exclamation point using the hashtags #CodeRedClimate and #CodeRedCongress. You'll be joining some of your favorite musicians and celebrities include the Dave Matthews Band, Dead & Company, Billie Eilish, Melissa Etheridge, Finneas, Maroon 5, Brittany Howard, Jon Batiste, Alec Benjamin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jane Fonda, Mark Ruffalo, Damian and Stephen Marley, GROUPLOVE, Huey Lewis and The News, and many others. When the "Build Back Better" bill passes, the United States can enter the global climate negotiations on Nov. 1st with America setting out to cut climate pollution 100% by 2050 - and encourage other major nations to do the same.  If not you – then who?  Act now and help create a better future for our children - and all 7+ Billion EarthKind people.     SuperNova #1. At this point, heating our homes is tied – it's co-equal – with transportation. People think electricity generation is the be all and end all of climate change and we have to get away from fossil fuels there. It's absolutely true that we need to do that, but the main greenhouse gases in New York State are from heating our buildings and driving. We have to take care of both of those.   SuperNova #2. There's no limit at this point what geothermal can do.   SuperNova #3. Folks have to stop thinking of natural gas as what it's been advertised for for decades. It is not “the cleanest source of fuel and a great bridge fuel to renewables”. It is neither at this point.   Aha! Moment: “For me, it's when I woke up to what climate change is all about. I listened to what they were saying in the late ‘80s and I understood it. Realize that we are facing enormous suffering if we don't act now. It's going to take some sacrifices to avoid suffering; those sacrifices have to do with making change, and change is difficult for people. We really need to join together as a human race to solve this problem.” – Bill Nowak     Best Advice He's Ever Received: “Do unto others as you would do unto yourself.” – Bill Nowak   Personal Habit that Contributes to Success: “I think I was raised to work hard and to take other people's concerns seriously, and it works.” – Bill Nowak   Internet Resource: NY-GEO   Reading Recommendation: Green Energy Times   Magic Wand: “It would be a fossil fuel sunset starting in New York State and spreading worldwide. We need to stop burning fossil fuels.” – Bill Nowak   Most Energized About Today: “I think the other people that are waking up and getting active. The word is getting out there. NY-GEO participates in nn incredible grassroots organization called Renewable Heat Now. It's just awesome to see largely young people in this organization with sophisticated analysis and great skills they built up, working to make this all happen.” – Bill Nowak   Parting Advice: “Ron, you have been a stalwart for decades. You and I go back a long time, and you have done great work for decades. Thank you for doing this series and thank you for the work that you've done.”– Bill Nowak   Connect: Email: nygeoinfo@gmail.com

Strange things happening in NY State... Actually, it's more than strange. This is downright scary! Laws being proposed are very frightening and disturbing. While these laws have not been passed, they are sitting menacingly awaiting approval. Perhaps that approval will never come? But then who would have thought our government would enforce curfews, mask mandates and social distance mandates? There is no clause in the US Constitution stating that we all have rights... until someone catches a virus. A-11179 This law would mandate vaccines A-416 This law would enable Cuomo to decide who is naughty or nice... er... who poses a health risk and should be physically removed from their home and forced into a hospital or prison. Yep, we did say "forced" because that is what this law demands. And it is very arbitrary. Cuomo decides he doesn't like you and... well, ... you're a goner, as they say. By the way, they can force medical treatment--including vaccines--on you once you're incarcerated too. (For your own good, of course.) Cuomo knows best! S-4512 Requires social media networks to provide mechanisms for reporting vaccine "misinformation" on their platforms. Censorship, anyone? Some NY politicians want to require it! S-4516 Prohibits the falsification of Covid-19 vaccination records. Hmm... why would anyone want to falsify vaccination records? Will vaccines become mandatory in order to participate in society? Section 2120 of NY Public Health Laws - Title 2: Control of Dangerous and Careless Patients -- Yes, this is what could happen to you if A-416 enabled the Governator (a.k.a. Santa Claus?) to force you into a hospital. (Hint: it's not good...) Ooh, this one is very interesting... You'll have to listen to the podcast to hear the details (or go on the website and read the law yourself.) For more information on Nazi New York, go to --> NYSenate.gov. Thanks for listening! First: If you live in NY State, go to www.NYSenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/a416 It is with great sadness and concern that we need to tell you this: Right now, corrupt politicians in NY State are considering Assembly Bill A-416. This is a very frightening and disturbing law that will allow state officials to detain and arrest people they arbitrarily deem a health "threat." This, of course, means those of us who are critical of lockdowns, curfews, mandatory masks, etc. , or just anyone they don't like! Talk to your immigrant friends. They might be able to tell you stories of what life was like in a country where people disappear everyday because they say or do something their government doesn't like. We can't let that happen here. Apathy is the freedom killer! PLEASE, EVERYONE: go to the above website and voice your concerns NOW! Stop what you are doing right now and spend just five minutes going on the website above, voting "nay" then contacting your senator to tell him/her to vote "no" on this undemocratic, unconstitutional bill. If you do not live in NY, please contact a NY senator anyway--just do a search online--and contact at least one senator to let them know you are appalled that a law like this is even being considered here in the United States. Remember, if this law goes into effect here in NY, your state will be next. We need to oppose this NOW! Please don't postpone this. Do it NOW! Please! https://www.nysenate.gov/contact Please, everyone, do your part! Please do this TODAY! Even if you don't live in NY, please go on the website and find a state senator to call or write to. This is a very dangerous bill being considered. The law enables NY officials to drag people out of their homes and detain them against their will. This is no conspiracy theory. People, this is real! Please speak out! Your voice matters! We need people to call, email and flood these corrupt senators to let them know we do not want a mandatory "vaccine" and we do not want people to be sent to detention centers or hospitals. If this law passes in NY, your town will be next. We are all connected. Speak out NOW! It will take 5 minutes of your time at the most. Stop what you are doing right now and contact the NY Senate immediately! Episode 51: First episode of the new year... Yippee! ... Actually, Yikes! Do you trust scientists? Doctors? Experts? Perhaps if you knew a little bit more about history, you might change your mind? MK Ultra was a CIA-funded mind control/brainwashing experiment. Conspiracy theory? Nope! Think again! MK Ultra was/is real. Dr. Ewen Cameron of Montreal, Canada was a psychiatrist back in the 1950s and 60s who used his knowledge of human nature and the mind to conduct diabolical experiments on unwitting subjects. He attempted to erase then replace their memories and, essentially, brainwash them--at the CIA's request. Interestingly, Dr. Cameron participated in the Nuremberg Trials in which Nazis were tried for acts of torture and murder. Did he learn from the Nazis? Please listen to the audio of this documentary from the 1980s, then let us know whether you still trust "the science." There has been a long history of corrupt doctors and scientists who have done great harm. We expect doctors to be good people who care about our health. Sometimes that is true. But... not always! #weainthavingit #nazidoctors #medicalchoice #billgatesisevil #criticalthinker --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Elizabeth (Liz) Glass is a progressive Democratic candidate running for the NY State Senate seat in District 27 in Manhattan, which includes the East and West Villages, Stuy Town, Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen, Times Square and parts of midtown.  She is challenging the current 8 year incumbent Brad Hoylman.  New Yorkers might remember that Hoylman was the sponsor for the bill that mandated vaccination for all children to attend both public and private schools. He is also a supporter of the NY Senate bill S.7919 that as passed in March of this year that granted Cuomo full executive powers that are almost dictatorial. Liz is running on a grassroots constituent-based platform that focuses on tackling the state's fiscal deficit, a broken healthcare system run by corporate interests, restoring vaccine exemptions, opposing the roll out of 5G wireless technology and restoring civil rights.

Discern Daily Ep. 13 - Join the Fight to End Abortion Abortion is arguably the hottest topic to discuss today, and rightfully so. Two videos went viral recently about new abortion laws in New York and Virginia that would increase access to abortions. On this episode, we looked at an article by Josh Wester for ERLC, titled, "Another Abortion Video Goes Viral: Virginia and the Repeal Act," which summarizes what's going on today regarding new abortion laws. Let's take a look at what's going on and seek the truth together. [embed]https://youtu.be/UyPBxpJx0C0[/embed] Quotes from Josh Wester's Article for ERLC “This week, a second video about abortion went viral. But instead of New York, this one was from the general assembly in Virginia. The video features a Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates offering comments in defense of proposed legislation that would dramatically expand abortion laws in the commonwealth.” "Abortion advocates once called for abortions to be 'safe, legal, and rare.' But the goalposts have moved. We now live in an age where women are encouraged to 'shout' their abortions.” “Polling shows that young adults are more likely than other demographics to support abortion restrictions, including the gradual implementation of pro-life legislation. These efforts to expand access to abortions in New York, Virginia, and elsewhere do not necessarily represent the future or a permanent trajectory.” “Those committed to the cause of life, who would see this dreadful movement reversed, must continue to work and pray. Advancing the cause of life takes many forms, from voting in elections to supporting crisis pregnancy centers. It includes showing up at city council meetings and cultivating churches that are prepared to receive and care for women, children, and families in need. It means showing the love of Christ and being a neighbor.” View Josh Wester's full article for ERLC here. Episode Highlights Abortion can be a complicated subject; however, most of the time, it's not complicated at all. Simply put, abortion is murder. This is the sound from the NY Senate chamber after the 38-24 vote to: - Add abortion to the NY Constitution - Allow non-physicians to commit abortions - Allow abortion through third trimester - Repeal protections for surviving babies Pure evil. pic.twitter.com/K54vYGfb2G — Live Action (@LiveAction) January 23, 2019 It's important to dig beneath the surface of abortion and think about its process fundamentally. Heartbreaking... This isn't in New York, this isn't in California, this happened just this week right here in Virginia. @VAHouseDems proposed legislation to provide abortions up to ju

This week on the Eye on NY podcast:  An update on the absentee ballot count in the 22nd Congressional District race. State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi, the Democratic challenger, leads Republican U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney by more than 3,000 votes. There are still a few counties that need to finish counting before a winner can be declared, but it appears Brindisi will win the congressional race.  On Friday, state Senate Republicans gathered in Albany to elect a leader for the upcoming session. Current Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan, who has led the GOP conference since 2015, will continue to lead the party's membership. He beat out state Sen. Cathy Young for the minority leader's post.

RATE AND REVIEW this podcast on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PeterSchiff/reviews/ Making the Rich Pay Julia Salazar, another Democratic Socialist defeated Martin Dilan in the NY Senate primary.  The only reference to taxes on her website was to "make the rich pay their fair share".  That's it.  Nothing about what specifically she wants to raise, by how much she wants to raise it and how much money is going to come it.  This is going to be provided, that is going to be provided, and the people vote for her! This is how dumb the electorate has become. Shift to Democratic Socialism This is what I have been warning about on this podcast.  This shift in the political spectrum. The Democrats are moving to the left.  Democratic incumbents are going to be replaced by Socialists or will have to openly embrace Socialism themselves in order to maintain their seats. This is very dangerous, because when it does hit the fan, and it should hit the fan before the next elections a Democrat is going to be the next President, and the Democrats are going to control Congress. It's not going to be the Democratic party of Bill Clinton or even Barack Obama. It will be the Democratic party of Bernie Sanders. Sovereign Debt Crisis and Dollar Crisis We're going back to the anniversary of the Financial Crisis and the collapse of Lehman Brothers, and the next crisis, which will be a sovereign debt crisis and a dollar crisis.  It's going to be much much worse.  Bailouts are not going to work; stimulus is not going to work. Injecting Stimulus Directly into the Rears of the Democratic Voters But they're not going to try the same type of stimulus. They're not going to talk about injecting monetary heroin into the banking system to create a wealth effect. They're going to inject the stimulus right into the rear ends of the Democratic voters. They're going to want to give the money directly to the people, whether it is through some kind of basic income program or government make-work or forgiving student loans.  Whatever they do, it will be about showering money that the Fed creates out of thin air and putting it directly in the pockets of the voters. That is just pure unadulterated inflation.

Soooooo, Paul Ryan is bailing on the job he never wanted but should we be surprised?  It was all about giving himself a tax cut all along now wasn't it? Surrrrre, it's all about spending more time with his kids. I'll bet you his tax cut windfall he'll be gone more than ever after he leaves office in November. On the good news front the New York Working Families party has scored a big win of sorts in the NY State Legislature.  In 2012 the WFT help give the Democrats a 33 seat majority but a group of Trump Democrats banded together to form an "independent" group who helped elect a Republican majority leader in the NY Senate. Now they  have seen the error of their ways and are wanting to come back into the fold.   This comes at a time when the WFP leadership is changing, not from any other reason than the current Director who has held the job since the party started in 1998 feels it's time to go.   Check out the article at the link and learn more about the WFP if you are not already in the loop. If you are not satisfied with your experience with the Westin O'Hare hotel at vapebash, here are some of the things you can do: When you get home, contact your credit card company and dispute your room charges. This is your right as a VISA/AMEX/etc. customer when you feel you did not get what you paid for. You have nothing to lose by doing this, it's a click of a mouse online or you can call the number on the back of your credit card. At the very least, Westin O'Hare will have to explain to VISA why so many customers were disappointed. Who knows, you might even get a partial refund if enough people do this. Find Westin O'Hare on Yelp. Write a review about your experience and give them zero stars, or whatever you feel is appropriate. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-westin-o-hare-rosemont Go to twitter and Facebook and tell @Westin what you think. National Cyber Security Radio By Gregory Evans

The U.S. government remains tight lipped about a computer virus that infected the cockpits of America’s Predator and Reaper drones.  They are saying that the virus has been logging pilots’ every keystroke while they flew remote missions over warzones including Afghanistan. It may be National Cyber Security Awareness month but that apparently is not stopping spammers.  Cyber experts warn computer users that there’s been an upsurge in spam and virus-loaded emails this month. A cyberbullying law is getting some traction in the NY Senate.  Sen. Jeff Kine now has support in proposing legislation to expand the crime of third- degree stalking to include cyberbullying.  The recent suicide of Jamey Rodemeyer reportedly helped to move things along.  Rodemeyer was a victim of bullying.
