Rease Cassity is a New York-based actor, filmmaker and writer who loves 90s R & B, hates that glitter isn't a recognized color, and dreams of a day when being over a size four in Hollywood isn't a capital offense. She grew up in Southeast Texas, studied the music industry in college, and was recruited by a major label marketing department to create grassroots campaigns for millennials. While working what for many was a dream job, she realized it wasn't hers and committed to her dreams of acting. Since then, she played a Midwest mother opposite Russell Crowe and Sienna Miller in the Showtime limited series, The Loudest Voice, (Directed by Jeremy Podeswa) Judge Reinhold's determined critical care nurse in the feature My Many Sons (directed by Ralph E. Portillo), and best friend and MoH in the comedy/horror film Til Death Do Us Part. On NYC stages, she appeared in the Wives of King Henry VIII: The Musical and A Midsummer Night's Dream (NY Shakespeare Convention selection). Rease's passion is creating stories that promote self-acceptance, authenticity and inspiration. In following this purpose, she's created Starving Artists, a motivational cooking show, in which she interviews NYC creatives about their artist journey, as they cook. What started out as a cooking show quickly morphed into a community on social media. In addition, alongside Mexican filmmaker Maria Otero and Columbian-American actress Stephanie Salgado, she's developing Foreplay, a sex-positive comedy in which she plays a plus-size woman who wouldn't know an insecurity if it bit her in the ass. As a creative creature, Rease also writes, sings, paints and photographs. She's committed to go wherever her creative endeavors take her. When she's not working, Rease is volunteering, singing Montell Jordan's “This Is How We Do It” at karaoke, and dreaming of a day when she voices the first plus-size animated Disney princess.Like to have a ASC cinematographer as a mentor?Have you thought of upgrading your cinematography game? A few months ago, Tara Reade dropped a bombshell; she accused Joe Biden of having sexually assaulted her. Joe Biden denied it ever happened. Usually, sexual harassment and/or assault would boil down to she says/he says unless there is proof (eye witnesses, documented behavior, etc). More often than not, the individual accused of sexual assaults is engaged in that pattern of behavior. Women, several women would speak about their respective experience with the individual accused of such. In the case of Tara Reade, it seems, she is the ONLY ONE Joe Biden would have sexually assaulted if one believes her story. We discuss in this presentation the many reasons we believe Tara Read lied about ever having been sexually assaulted by anyone. Hailing from Philly, Brandon started riding at a young age. After falling in love with horses and the sport of polo, Brandon went on to help establish the polo program at Roger Williams University, a team the won the collegiate championship in only its second year. Brandon shares that he was inspired to get into the industry by his friends Kareem and Daymar Rosser who were (and still are) active in Philadelphia’s Work to Ride program. The ability to travel and ride horses exposed Brandon to a world of possibility. He stated that as a kid from Philly, you tend to think your only options are to become a recording artist or an athlete, but the Work to Ride program exposed him to so much more. Brandon was able to network with people from different socioeconomic and geographic backgrounds and he learned truly how diverse the horse world can be. In this episode, Brandon explains to us the game of polo and his goal to return to the game and play for himself. He is currently a budding entrepreneur with his new venue location launching in May 2020. Check him out on his socials below! This past summer, I interviewed Michael Brilla about creating timelines on an amazing platform called Knight Lab. I had my students such create timelines this past September. It was a solid experience for all. The only issue we had with this application was that kids had to fill out a Google Spreadsheet and then submit that sheet to the Knight Lab platform. This one variable caused some frustration with my students. Imagine that! What I love about StoryMaps is there are no spreadsheets involved. Your kids create the entire StoryMap right on the Knight Lab platform. It's totally web-based...which is magical. When kids are done, they hit the share button and they have the link. This is a perfect activity for any lesson that involves events taking place in various locations. I had my students create a StoryMap on the Mongols. To help me tell this story is Max Muhlbaier and Matt Rease. These two articulate young students (primary sources) will describe utilizing this platform.

The Amateur Traveler talks to Rease from 2 Nomads, 1 Narrative about South Korea. Rease and his girlfriend Nicki taught English for a year in Southern South Korea and also took time t travel around the country. We start in the city of Busan which also called Pusan and the only part of South Korea not to fall to the North in the Korean Conflict. Rease recommends we see Busan fish market and some of the old temples and then move on from Korea’s second largest city to the ancient capital of Gyeongju. Gyeongju is over 2000 years old and includes ancient temples and burial tombs and also has the largest of the Buddist temples in the country. Then Rease recommends we move along to some of the beaches, seaside towns and islands on the south coast which most western tourists don’t visit.
