The phrase "one day" is powerful and can either fuel your dreams or hold you back from achieving them. Which will you choose?

Will climbing a mountain solve all of your problems in retirement? Here's why it just might.

When you think about your goals and dreams, do you think "one day"? If so, you may find that "one day" is always out of sight.   Now compare that mindset of "one day" to "day one." Day one is right now.   Tomorrow is nothing and today is everything.   What will you start today?

If this is what success looks like, we'd all better enjoy the journey.

How many times have you started a new hobby and then experienced the dreaded dip? You know, that lull we all go through where the thrill of rapid progress fades into that period where you struggle to make any progress. When it feels like we're not making progress, it's helpful to know that the dip is just part of the process. 

Sometimes when I'm lifting weights or on the Peloton, I find myself wishing it would be over. I have to do this class. I have to do these sets. I have to...   And then, I reframe how I think.   I don't have to do. I get to.   How amazing is that?!   It's a gift.

The reason change can happen with just a thought is because it can change how you think about yourself – your identity.

I've been here, and I'm sure you've been here too. My hope is this lights a fire within you to do, experience, and become all you can while you are still healthy and able.
