It's good to be back.In the news, the F1 movie has had a full-length trailer released and while Marty is optimistic, Chris has issues with their use of Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain'. Meanwhile, F1TV's Will Buxton has made a surprising move Stateside to commentate on IndyCar, FE still exists somehow and Chris explains why you should watch it, and we talk a bit about why motorsports watching is about to get REALLY annoying with Warner Bros Discovery's axing of Eurosport. For our feature discussion, we travel back in time a few months to bring you an unreleased deep dive into our top 3 Batmobiles! This also references the Q&A Clarkson did following a screening of One for the Road at his pub. James May has recorded his last piece of voice over for the Grand Tour, says next special is out in September, and that is probably it for him in the car world. The F1 movie will be out June 2025! Marty has watched NASCAR: Full Speed on Netflix and rates it highly as a gateway to a world of racing he knew little about. For our main discussion this episode, we follow The Smoking Tire podcast in our top 5 movie character cars!In 'What has Henry Catchpole been upto this week?' the Gordon Murray T.50 meets its spiritual predecessor, the McLaren F1. A great film that changed our minds on the T.50. Our episode picks lost all discipline this month, as Autoalex has picked up the cheapest - and possible worst - Ferrari 360 that Jeremy Clarkson once sat in. Equally the Top Dead Centre boys bought a very cheap, Max Power-era show car which can with interesting mods and even more interesting merch. Have we reached peak Senna? Tom Hartley Jnr has also shown off a collection of race used helmets too, including Senna's Donington '93 helmet!Instead of a review, Chris and Marty discuss cars from TV. What did we miss? What other iconic TV cars are there? In 'What has Henry Catchpole been driving this week?' it's a Blackpool tribute as the TVR Tuscan Speed Six hits 25 years so American can enjoy the smell of fibreglass and resin. For what we have been watching this week - apart from lots of weird and wonderful TV clips with cars in - The Movie Rabbit Hole has started a big conversation about the use of 'no CGI' in movie marketing, and the subsequent VFX breakdowns including Gran Turismo. Whistles blaring and bobble hats replaced, we settle in to give our thoughts on Race for Glory: Audi vs. Lancia. In 'What Has Henry Catchpole Been Upto This Week?' we stick with our theme and revisit some rally legends reborn in the Kimera EVO37 and the utterly delicious Prodrive P25. Our joint Youtube pick this episode is the wonder Tuthill Porsche film of the Rally With No Name, which perfectly walks the line between sharing the fun of the event without becoming too much about the fun or the competition. Watch it now before it maybe gets pulled! Inspired by the Collecting Cars podcast, we picked our desert island YouTube clips to watch over and over. Despite a whole list of amazing videos, Marty went with Henry Catchpole driving an Aston Martin N430 Vantage on the old Military Road. Chris has watched Drive to Survive, and Marty hasn't. Is it worth a watch, and which episodes are worth your time? But both have watched Grand Tour presents Sand Job. In 'What has Henry Catchpole been upto this week?' it's the F.A.T Ice Race in Aspen - or Goodwood on Ice - with some bizarrely rare and special cars raised up and given studded tyres. But first we discuss the development of the Dunsfold site, otherwise known as the Top Gear test track. Gran Turismo has a trailer out with the film following soon. F1 has taken over production of the Monaco Grand Prix from TMC, and the next Grand Tour adventure - Eurocrash - is coming out June 16th!Since the last episode, we've both been enthralled by Tavarish salvaging a McLaren P1, the great Nurburgring 24h live stream, and after Steve Sutcliffe voiced his opinion that the McLaren F1 is overrated, some classic Best Motoring featuring an F1 group test that rather backs up his theory. Chris also raises some interesting tips from The Photographer's Eye about how to get the best out of YouTube for viewers. For our review this episode, it has to be Fast X. Be warned, there is a spoiler section ahead! In 'What has Henry Catchpole been upto this week?', he's been taking a ride in the brain scrambling McMurtry Spieling fan car!For their YouTube picks, Chris went with one from TJ Hunt where he and his crew unpack a BMW Motorsport GT3 body kit, and all giggle like kids at Christmas. For his channel he went with the Nurburgring 24 Hour, which not only hosted live streams of the race, but quickly cut some beautiful highlights packages to aid the fan engagement. Marty picked F1 sharing the whole Imola Grand Prix from 2005, but as we recorded F1 had pulled it (Although it's still on the excellent F1 TV) and instead he went for the soggy 2008 Monaco Grand Prix which Matt Bishop recently said he thought was one of Lewis's greatest drives. It's an hour well spent, and Chris thinks possibly up there if not better than Steve McQueen's Le Mans. https://motorsport.tv/motorsporttv-live/video/this-week-with-will-buxton-le-mans-special-edition/115537 (It is available now and for free here). The https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un0J66oy1OU (Car Trek series 5 trailer is out), and it looks like they're keeping up the improvement! Rather than reviews this episode, instead Chris and Marty are discussing the current state of car YouTube. Chris wrote about his thoughts in 2014 (back when Shmee150 was at 300k subscribers!) but now what are channels doing, and how can it continue? In 'What has Henry Catchpole Been Driving This Week?' he's in yet another iconic rally car with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60raig8Q4JY (Audi Sport Quattro S1 Evolution 2: We Drive The Most Iconic Group B Rally Car!) For their YouTube picks, Chris went with the sort of content YouTube does so well, which is one person's dream drive in a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThiYgo24hsg (Civilian Toyota Mega Cruiser: A Comprehensive Tour). His channel pick is the animated series of video essays from https://youtube.com/c/JoshRevellYT (Josh Revell). Also, we talk Clarkson doing farming, Henry Catchpole drives a Golf, and a man watches every Fast and Furious film. But first, Chris has watched https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B095RNXQDY (Clarkson's Farm) and loves it, and Tim Jonze watched https://www.theguardian.com/film/2021/jun/11/my-brain-has-liquefied-what-happened-when-one-careful-skoda-driver-binged-every-fast-furious-film (the entire Fast and Furious franchise for The Guardian). For the main review, both Chris and Marty watched the original https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071571/ (Gone in 60 Seconds (1974)) having never seen it previously, despite the 2000 remake being so central to both's love of cars and films. For our online picks, and in celebration of Pride month, we'd hoped to feature more LGBTQ+ content, sadly it is thin on the ground. However, we absolutely support http://racingpride.com (Racing Pride) in their work to bring more inclusivity to motorsport, welcoming the LGBTQ+ community to our paddocks and screens. The Fast & Furious marathon concludes as Chris and Marty take on the biggest and silliest movies of the Fast franchise so far, Furious 7 and Fate of the Furious, where cars jump through buildings, baddies hack into nuclear submarines and none of this matters because Kurt Russell! In other news, Porsche's excellent Road to Le Mans series continues and we get excited by A Massive Hunt. Michael Fassbender's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rod98otDJ9E&list=PLKduzfEGbn-FJLzSrthYkpHD9a8vXt4A4 (Road to Le Mans) continues, and we think it's one of the best documentary series we've seen this year. Also Pistonhead's Sam Sheehan has done a great video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaCH1EHcIzQ (driving the 991 RSR GTE). We already covered Bad Obsession Motorsport's series racing a C1, but the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIxRI4Weh2Y (end of season review) has a great ending, and is recommended. We've had the first trailer for The Grand Tour's special https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZmoFfYCzKw (A Massive Hunt), which looks ace. Also a new series called https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBpl9yEKd0Healg3VKMaUxeg-dcuikWpi (Sorted) has started, which could be great but has a fairly major flaw. Chris Harris has had a busy month for content. First doing a very revealing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7lD0PQBvg4 (2 part) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2zWdIlIX4Y (interview) with Jonny Smith on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf2rpBEOs5jglV2YxmKD8hw (The Late Brake Show). Then a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtgymHfB9CQ (good discussion) with https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrujKGZ0YHwxMhN2-OwleRQ (Remove Before Race) talking about the influencer approach and where AMG is going wrong. He's also started doing longer form interviews on the Top Gear YouTube channel, the best of which so far is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaE57tChPQM (Chris Harris talks EVs with Graeme Cooper from the National Grid). For the last part of the current Fast and Furious marathon, Chris talks https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2820852/ (Fast and Furious 7) while Marty rounds out the series with https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4630562/ (The Fate of the Furious). Thank God we're done, let's move on. In this episode's 'What has Henry Catchpole been up to this week?', The gloriously bonkers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8WmCDH_nWw (Nomad R) gets an outing in the hills and beautifully moody introduction. Chris's YouTube pick this week is not  Carfection's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmsgApUeyEc (The Greatest F1 Cars Ever - All In One AMAZING Place: Williams Heritage) (Yes, he's cheating again), but instead Chris Harris doing what he does so well on YouTube which is making content for us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQv-St8GDOs (Chris Harris Let Loose on Audience Cars). For his channel pick... He's also cheated. We've talked about Tavarish's channel before, but he did a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g2ljcLltgI&list=PLrvMJaD0-PufLw5XBhSl0Ss6qfs4uhKkb (project rebuilding one of the Fate of the Furious's hero cars. An orange Lamborghini Murcielago). Martin picked up on Top Gear's new series call https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPIyvcRz3HM (Stig Drifts), where gratuitous drifting shots meet a video game aesthetic. The channel pick is the brilliant land speed record channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxV6MOfNBWfZjR3M60kaylQ (Scarf & Goggles). Well worth a look! For this episode, Chris and Marty continue their Fast and Furious retrospective series. First of all, Chris gives his impressions on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=611fw81BN98 (Long Way Up) on Apple TV+ and https://www.sky.com/watch/title/series/969db599-ec4b-4e5e-8872-70b4a2a688c9/the-race-to-perfection-969db599-ec4b-4e5e-8872-70b4a2a688c9 (Race to Perfection) from Sky F1/Documentaries now we're a few episodes into both. Chris and Marty are also both thrilled that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDAiui-W79w&list=PLrvMJaD0-Pufx-itANKjxyrmtWhku7dTX (Car Trek Season 2) is here! Tyler Hoovie has also hinted that season 3 is already underway... We asked and you answered wanting more Fast and Furious reviews, so this time Marty gives his thoughts on https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0463985/ (Tokyo Drift) being JDM as f**k, while Chris gets literally up in the business of https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1013752/ (Fast and Furious) and its role in giving us the Fast and Furious we know today. In this episode's 'What has Henry Catchpole been up to this week?', he's been Silverstone-bound in the Mclaren 675, no, hang on, 567... Let me check. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trYkf35Kv-M (765LT doing a track test. ) Marty's YouTube pick this week is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwCIEjdzvCk (Robert Kubica driving the Nurburgring) in an Apex Nurburg M4. Misha then also did a follow up video looking at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxK0N_Vn_Gkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxK0N_Vn_Gk (the wear and tear from such an adventure).
