    Dr Alana Gall is a proud Truwulway woman, a Pakana (Tasmanian Aboriginal) from the north-east coast of Lutruwita (Tasmania). Alana is passionate about Indigenous peoples' holistic health and wellbeing globally. She has a background with degrees in nutritional medicine, Master of Research and a PhD. Alana is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University, and an Honorary Research Fellow at both the University of Queensland and Menzies School of Health Research. She is the Co-Vice Chair of the World Federation of Public Health Associations Indigenous Working Group, and the Vice President-Elect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health at the Public Health Association of Australia.  Alana pioneered the use of individual yarns with a think-aloud component, called the ‘think-aloud yarn', and co-developed the Key Principles to Co-Design with First Nations peoples, which have informed the development of Cancer Australia's Australian Cancer Plan and will underpin its implementation. She leads a research program that centres around First Nations Australians traditional medicines and healing practices, with the aims of protecting and preserving these medicines for future generations and improving accessibility for all First Nations communities across Australia.     Professor Julia Rucklidge is a Professor of Clinical Psychology in the School of Psychology, Speech and Hearing at the University of Canterbury and the Director of Te Puna Toiora, the Mental Health and Nutrition Research Lab.  Professor Rucklidge has been researching the interface of nutrition and mental health for 20 years and has published over 150 empirical papers.  Julia is also the recipient of numerous local and international awards and her TEDx talk, 'The surprisingly dramatic role of nutrition in mental health' has been viewed close to 5 million times, and in 2021 co-authored a book, The Better Brain: Overcome Anxiety, Combat Depression, and Reduce ADHD and Stress with Nutrition.  Her online course is free and available here: University of Canterbury: Mental Health and Nutrition. Today we discuss her 2021 book "The Chloroformist", a fascinating read about the history of anaesthesia and detailed biographies of its pioneers including Dr Joseph Clover.     Dr Alex Gyani is the Director of Research and Methodology for the Asia Pacific region at the Behavioural Insights Team, also known as the Nudge Unit. He has worked in a diverse set of fields around the world from domestic violence, energy regulation, health system efficiency, obesity, financial regulation, employment services and education. His PhD focused on encouraging people with anxiety and depression to seek treatment using a mobile phone app and encouraging psychological therapists to use evidence-based treatments.     Professor Michael Nilsson MD, PhD, is the Director of the Centre for Rehab Innovations (CRI) and Global Innovation Chair of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Newcastle. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
