Bonjour ! C'est un épisode très spécial, dont je suis fier car la collaboration s'est ouverte à plusieurs niveaux. C'est Corentin de la chaîne Youtube La Bonne Oreille qui a fait la prise son et le montage/mixage de cet épisode et c'est Loris Cadet et Valentine Goujon en 3è année actorat à l'EICAR Paris qui ont interprété les personnages dans les locaux de Radio Campus ! Bonne ambiance, des comédien.ne.s au top, un vrai ingé son, que de demander de plus ! Partagez autant que possible parce que c'est de l'amour ! La petite histoire derrière la fiction : Les faits sont vrais. Il y a réellement eu un incident majeur à la Centrale de Three Miles Island aux Etats-Unis. Certains magazines avaient fait la couverture de l'événement avec le titre "la peur de l'atome". 79 c'est aussi l'année de toutes les peurs. Guerre, catastrophes écologiques... et arrivée de Thatcher au pouvoir ! Les Refs : beaucoup de parties du dialogue font références d'abord à l'appartement de Joe et Gaby, réellement situé près de la Tamise, et effectivement aux étages, il était important de remettre ça dans la fiction pour le "i live by the River" La presque fin du dialogue est évidemment une référence à Trainspotting (monologue de Renton). Je ne pouvais pas m'en empêcher au moment où je l'ai écrit. Merci à l’EICAR 

Promesse faite il y a longtemps et que je commence à tenir. Voici la première partie de la rétrospective Aphex Twin.  De sa jeunesse à son premier album.

  Retour aux années 90, Seattle, sa banlieue, son désert économique et sa musique. Le Sound of Seattle qu’on connaît surtout comme  Grunge, s’est envolé de cette grande ville du nord américain pour noyer  les ondes hertziennes par le biais de Nirvana et son morceau phare Smells like Teen Spirit. Une structure simple qui alterne entre couplet soft (sans distorsion)  et chorus fort (le même couplet joué avec disto) c’est comme ça qu’on  présente le Grunge. Sauf que… Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Tad (merci Rémi de nous avoir rappelé de les mentionner), Pearl Jam et presque tous les artistes du label Sub Pop ne rentrent pas dans cette catégorie. Avec Meza de Radio404, on revient dans le podcast sur la genèse de l’album Dirt  des Alice, et on en profite pour proposer nos points de vue,  entrecoupés de chips, et de portes qui claquent. Tout un programme. Evidemment il y avait beaucoup à dire, vous nous pardonnerez de ne pas avoir parlé de Mariah O’Brien,  la jeune femme de la pochette de Dirt, ni des diverses anecdotes, un  peu glauques liées aux différentes O.D des membres du groupe.   C’est un album ensoleillé que nous chroniquons aujourd’hui dans cette rev consacrée à Electric Lady Sessions de LCD Soundsystem, groupe de James Murphy co-fondateur du label DFA Records,  remixeur fou, amoureux du son vintage de la pop-punk des années 80,  qu’il a remis au goût du jour dans les années 2000 avec l’ajout de  basses plus lourdes, un mix plus dynamique pour donner ce qu’on appelle  avec amour le Dance-Punk. J’ai le plaisir de partager cette revue avec Karim de la chaîne Politikon  qui quand il ne se consacre pas à décortiquer les théories sociales,  philosophiques et politiques, écoute beaucoup de musique, et en  particulier LCD Soundsystem ! Il fallait qu’il soit là pour me donner son avis sur ce dernier album  “live”, enregistré dans des conditions au plus proche de l’authentique :  une seule bande pour tous les instruments, donc pas de retouche, pour  un mois et 11 titres qui reprennent dans la discographie des LCD avec  trois reprises en bonus. Vous aurez le plaisir de découvrir à la sauce  Murphy du Chic*, du Heaven 17 et du Human League ! *NOTE : Karim vient de me faire remarquer que la reprise du I want Your love de Chic est très très proche du I can’t Kick this feelin’ When It Hits de Moodyman. Morceau reprenant lui-même Chic. A vous de comparer ! Et merci Karim !!

  On va parler ! Beaucoup ! Heureusement pour nous calmer dans notre compétition de blabla il y a la musique et un artiste. Guillermo Scott Herren, beatmaker d’Atlanta, pionnier du Glitch Hop, mais avant tout musicien, a produit sous divers alias des albums et morceaux enchanteurs, poétiques, le plus connu étant Prefuse 73.  Mais il est surtout le témoignage d’un temps, d’une urbanité, d’un  univers qui sous un regard très subjectif se déploie sous nos yeux.  Nous avions prévu de parler de Reto a Ichi, la  dernière incarnation en date de GSH, mais on a pas pu s’empêcher de  revenir sur l’ensemble de sa carrière, de parler de sa jeunesse, ses  collaborations, ses errances… C’est Lliesse  qui est au micro avec moi; artiste visuel, il a conçu plusieurs clips  mettant en scène la musique de Scott Herren. Et comme vous allez pouvoir  le constater, c’est une véritable encyclopédie sur le sujet d’aujourd’hui ! Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today in honor of Scott Weinger's (Steve Hale) birthday today I've decided to cover Full House S7E2: The Apartment, which aired on September 21, 1993. In this episode Steve gets an apartment and D.J goes for a visit. She falls asleep on the couch and Danny gets angry when she doesn't come home on time. He goes to the building and looks through the window. Also in this episode, Joey's tranquility tapes do more harm than good, like put him in a life or death situation he is not aware of and may never be, when that cement truck chute comes down breaking glass that rains down into the kitchen, surprisingly close to him that I'm surprised that chute didn't take him out as it came down and he doesn't even feel his feet being covered in wet cement. Yikes! Michelle's lack of understanding the definition of the word hobby, which does not include, going to school, brushing your teeth or clipping your toenails or even cementing the driveway, all Jesse's suggestions, because even he, a grown adult does not know the meaning of a hobby, which is weird because his biggest hobby is playing guitar in a band. I'm sorry but unless you're making money and earning a living from it, it's a hobby. Just like my podcasting. Michelle takes it upon herself to figure out a hobby, which turns out to be a big headache for Danny who's already burning the candle at both ends as he's policing DJ and Steve's goings on around the house by following them with a vacuum, only to have to deal with a bigger mess than the girl's leaf covered bedroom (complete with little bugs on them) because the kitchen floor is now being remodeled in cement. DJ and Steve spend an evening at his place after choosing between Indecent Proposal (lots of having sex and talking about having sex with Robert Redford) they go for the safe choice, The Terminator (which does include a pretty lengthy sex scene between Sarah Conner and Kyle Reese as they create John Conner, I know TMI). The movie must have been boring because they konk out before the end credits roll. Danny spies on them from above together asleep on the couch as the chair breaks causing them to wake and realize it's way late , like 1AM late. They discover a disheveled Danny on the floor outside the door. Then he lays into DJ for breaking curfew, forbidding her from darkening Steve's doorway ever again. Kathy Santoni's married and pregnant in high school teen mom status, puts the fear of God in Danny and his nerves on high alert, only imagining what DJ is doing after midnight with Steve. Things work out in the end, we get a mention of Pam and how she would have been better equip to handle this sensitive non Dad territory conversation and DJ assures Danny she is a long ways off from wanting to settle down and start a family and Danny relinquishes his hold on DJ's grounding giving her the greenlight to visit Steve's apartment again.
