Byers (Sister Ann) has to deal with archaic values from the church as she faces her demons, while Navarro (Father Dante) helps guide her along but soon finds himself in trouble. Byers said she had so much fun filming the movie and working with the special effects, adding that while it adds an element for an actor to stretch their skill set, it is also incredibly hard and awkward. Meanwhile, Navarro said that he enjoyed everything about Father Dante, including his good nature, always putting others before himself. Navarro also paid homage to 13 Reasons Why saying that, that show taught him so much about acting, and this movie further is something he is also really proud of.
